Buddy, she took those pills on her own volition. She cheated on him that's her fault not his.
She’s a coward, can’t take responsibility for her actions, so she decided to take the easy way out. Pathetic.
Wife didnt change she showed her true self, she was so easily influenced and selfish she didnt thought about anyone but her selfish desires and ahe payed the ultimate price leaving op with the work of raising their sons alone.
Drugs do weird things to people. We don't know how she started it. To be honest, this is just a sad story from both sides.
Single moms come with a demo period. Once the demo is over, they reveal their true selves. I'm certain her crapping on her BF and mom is nothing more than blame shifting. She probably did tons of horrible things and got disowned, or her children aren't even from her EX.
Never date single moms.
She didn't pay the ultimate price, she took the easy way out like the coward she is.
Sadly women are very easy to brainwash. It’s why most ads are geared to women, most cult members (not leaders) are cult members, most psycho serial killer fans are women. Most of the woke are women. Sadly, it’s very normal…
@@HeavensEqualGreatSageit wasn't all drugs she genuinely believed what she did
OP is not at fault for anything. The old saying "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink" is adequate for this. She could be led to every resource to help her, but she won't use it unless she wants to. She just couldn't admit she had a lot of problems. Even with therapy she still needs to share to get help. In the end she wanted to be a Home Body with a maid so she didn't have to do anything, and just be pampered.
OP did a million things wrong. And none of them were the things he mentioned. In fact, all those things were right and him suggesting that they were wrong was also him doing wrong. He a total doormat who was worshipping an extremely flawed person.
He is at fault for being a doormat.
If he did not enable her, there *might* have been a chance at her redemption by learning to do things for herself.
Though at the beginning of the story, she was already a lost cause.
I remember a similar story to this. Well, "similar" in the wife entering a friend group of "empowered women" who were really all drug addicts/dealers/prostitutes. The wife in that story also ended up dying due to overdose, though she died in rehab. It was assumed she attempted to smuggle drugs in a balloon or condom she swallowed but it ruptured. The OP in that story got in contact with one of his wife's "friends" who was in the hospital, she had been jumped by the, presumably, wives of the marriages she helped to ruin and they beat the hell out of her and the woman just openly admitted, "Yeah, that empowering, independent woman thing is all bullshit. We just tell other women that because it's the easiest way to convert them and then we get them hooked on drugs and convince them to prostitute themselves for more drug money."
I remember that story. “The woman” didn’t say that, his wife did. She also didn’t say the second part, she said that it’s what we tell ourselves to numb the fact that we are essentially drug addicted prostitutes.
They could have been saying that the sky is green, it doesn’t matter what they were saying. A lot of people used this as a justification for why feminism is wrong but even OP didn’t care about that in the end. It was about the drugs, just like this story is.
Fuck that's horrible. The guy has his wife changed completely to a junkie and cheater. All of because of one woman who just wanted to make money off of her and other women. It really goes to show that modern women empowerment is nothing but a scam. The ringleader definitely deserved that ass beating but the wives sure as hell ain't no saints as they chose to be manipulated by some bullshit scam. I hope that the guy is doing better now that he doesn't have to deal with his cheating wife anymore.
It's in this channel too. The title is "My Cheating Wife Ruined our Marriage".
Can't say anything other than Reap what you sow
Eventually, OP's ex passed away from an overdose while she was on rehab
"You're replaceable"
-said the most replacable women ever
Obviously the friend wasn't replaceable since even after getting her husband, family and life back she ended up dead on her couch.
He never should've ignored his wife's new friends misandry... That's when you tell your wife "Hey, she's a bad influence, stay away"
i think the post said the misandry was the wife´s. the friend only gave her drugs.
Nah, that’s when you tell, not ask, tell your wife she’s no longer hanging out with that person. You lay down the law and be a man
“None of those things affected me until they did.”
They were affecting him the whole time.
well you are not suppose to choose your partner's connection
@@misteryetxcheesz22 that’s weak man talk. I don’t care wha anybody got to say about how I run things in my house and family. She wants to do whatever she wants to do? Doors right there, the moment you walk out you won’t be getting back in. If more men had this mindset, the women would fall in line with the quickness i guarantee you that.
Poor OP. He hasn't done anything wrong really, but he's allowed the combination of his love and his wife's poison to make him carry guilt he never should. He should have served her with the divorce while she was in rehab so she had professional help to deal with it and stabilize before she got released.
Or he really should've just listened to some of the commenters and reported that friend to the police. Even if the cops don't do anything, at least that'd be on her "friend's" profile. And knowing her rap sheet, the cops actually likely would've locked her up.
Or he should've been smart, listened to reddit advice and got the hell out. He is the one insisting on raising another person's kids. He is the one insisting on staying with this piece of work that is his wife. He deserves everything at this point.
As someone who was married to an addict, there is nothing you can do for them. They have to want to do it for themselves.
This is why all states need to be at fault states.
That would've made no difference here... the prenup and the fact that she brought substances into the house would've screwed her in the divorce, especially with OP being a recovered addict.
Wouldnt have changed anything in the story since the divorce procedure did not even start
While that's true, you can't start a divorce process when the one you're divorcing is dead.
No. No. No. There needs to be both. No fault for just wanting to separate 50/50. And at fault when there is faults of one party
@@jordanwardle11That would be redundant. Amicable splits do not apply under At Fault laws.
Wait .... so she attempted self deletion because there were consequences for the actions she took, but O.P. is responsible for here actions 🎬 because what???
As most people would put it, he’s either a spineless simp or pathetic doormat. Though I would say this is one of those instances where he somehow manages to be both.
He's too weak in the sense that he doesn't understand how to control his emotions.
Because Feminism: all the man's fault no matter what; women always the victim no matter what.
Gaslighting
"She always wanted to be a SAHM before we got together."
No, she always wanted a wealthy sugar daddy, and her behavior leaves no room for doubt about it.
Just drop the M. She wanted to stay home and do nothing.
@@Olimar92 she reminds me of a woman whose kid went to school with mine.
Out of everyone my kids went to school with, she was the craziest parent I met.
was clear to me she thought she married down since she told me how she was a Jewish princess and all her family were doctors. No clue what her husband did, but clearly not a doctor and not Jewish. She also asked me where my kid's ancestors came from. I guess our McLastName wasn't enough of a clue. I would have given her a rather sarcastic answer but the kids (who were only 6 at the time) were within earshot and I couldn't think of a PG answer
her house was an absolute zoo. And this is not because she had a bunch of different pets, cause you can have pets and have a clean house. not her case. I have the sense of smell of someone who died last month, and even I could smell how bad it was. so I pitied anyone who had a normal sense of smell and went anywhere near her house or backyard.
One conversation I had with her I'll never forget is when she told me she wanted more pets. and, if they couldn't afford it then her husband should get a second job. this is where the whole, "I'm a Jewish princess" and how her family were all doctors came into the conversation. and this was the reason she couldn't get a job.
she also told me how her husband had gotten a car, which she referred to as "his middle age crisis". I don't know much about cars, but I saw the car, it was ordinary, and it was clear he bought it to go to work.
I only met her husband a couple of times, and probably talked to him for less than 5 minutes. He seemed like a lovely gentleman, so I wasn't surprised when they divorced. After however many years they were married he probably reached his limit.
No clue if they sold the house, but the father may have gotten custody of the kids. saying this because they kept going to the same school, yet she died in Texas. so I doubt the kids would be commuting from Texas to Jersey to go to school.
@@Olimar92 Sadly most women want that too, it seems...
I think the most hilarious thing was her dealer friend sent that clip as a 'better watch yourself and let her do what she want because she has options' to get OP in line....but really she sent solid evidence on a silver platter
No, OP is not responsible for her attempt at deleting herself. She's the one who made the coward's choice. If anything, OP should be ANGRIER at her for taking the easy way out. Heck, I AM GETTING ANGRY listening to this.
I can't even say what I think about this woman here without youtube deleting my comment.
He is responsible for getting with a former drug addict single mother. I don't really have sympathy for such a naive and foolish man. Sorry.
He should've thanked the misandrist friend for sending proof of her cheating in those videos she sent.
Her friends who enabled her and the seller should be convicted by association or something 😢
It was her choice
@@bratp4504 Addiction is a disease. There are countless studies done that prove that it alters the brain in such a way that the addict essentially becomes a prisoner to the addiction. I am not defending her actions, but as a recovered addict myself I can't help but feel the need to try and educate people who refuse to treat it like the disease it is.
Yelling at someone who is attacking you verbally is considered abuse now?
The wife was not a victim.
She was a victim, just not the victim in this particular scenario
This story isn’t about divorce. It isn’t about cheating. It’s about trauma, addiction, and how it can f*ck your life and everyone around you. OP’s wife’s biggest sin was not getting help when she knew she wasn’t right in the head like OP did. THAT is what turned into using, like her mom did, and THAT turned into every action she made afterwards. She needed help the entire time but she likely refused to acknowledge it and let it get so bad she escaped with drugs. THAT is the reason people should be angry.
Some of y’all are so concerned about sexism and calling people doormats and cheating but you literally cannot sit and ask yourself why people act the way they do. I’m asking myself that right now reading these comments.
Thats one way to blame others for the actions of another person. Yes sexism played a big part in all of this. It all started because of her developing this sexist mindset that her husband should behave like a slave and do everything she wants + still provide all the money. Husband even tried his best to somehow resolve this problem but it failed. From then on it spiraled downwards for her. Dont give me this trauma and addiciton bullshit, to many times its used as a cheap excuse for the narcisstic behavior of others.
Story is AÍ generated
@@regisshiv3542 where did I blame anyone else? It IS her fault. This didn’t start with sexism, it started with her doing drugs. She was likely already addicted and that is why she started to change. OP thought his wife made a new “friend.” But what she really did was get a dealer who made a loyal customer for herself.
You cannot blame all of your problems on sexism dude, that’s not how reality works. Calling drug addiction “an excuse” is painfully gullible. How can something that alters your brain be an excuse? It’s 100% her fault she got addicted to drugs, period.
@@MrArielK a lot on this channel seem that way but the style of this one didn’t seem scripted like those are
@@Carnibee you won’t find these story on red dit and you can search verbatim, whoever’s runs this channel hides the name of OP and commenters. If you search the same title on RUclips you will find another video from a month ago with the same tone of voice and updates. This story is way to juicy on drama to be real
This man needs therapy. Listening to his story I felt a lot of anger towards his wife and sadness towards him. I imagine that he acted as his wifes savior and she was the Victim in their dynamic. Their relationship literally sounds like a Saviour-Victim relationship from the drama triangle. It was inevitable that it will end up in a disaster. His words give me the impression he feels guilty and responsible for her behavior that she unalived herself. My Bro this is NOT on you, her actions are her own. She fucked up her own life and your marriage. Its not on you! Go to therapy, heal and move on with your life!
This is one of the most heartbreaking stories I've ever heard, yk those stories that having you sitting quietly after.
Also I was thinking about Ops realisation that he enjoyed yelling at his wife as abusive, but it's really not he was probably feeling helpless and it likely felt good to be heard
Keep her favourite perfume…. The memory of her smell will fade quickly. The smell of the perfume can trigger good things long forgotten
The wives in these videos are grown women with adult brains. If they get influenced by other women to do these things then that means she allowed herself to be. And that deserves no mercy.
Just a quick question who the hell on Reddit is saying writing about your personal life is wrong😅😅😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Like let them vent is okay but he (they or them in case if they Are non binary) should mabye buy icecream and cry or talk to somone it helps me
Dude this poor man and children...
For some people, living in pain is it's own addiction and like any addiction you have to choose to stop it. I hope OP and his family don't get trapped in their own cycle.
If you stay with someone who's done all that to you, you're not strong. That's called being a doormat.
So if a man yells at a woman it's abuse but if a woman yells at a man it's justified?
Dude, you tried to save her, and she just didn't want to be saved. You can't blame yourself for this.
this is one of the saddest cheating story ive heard in a long time. im so used to hearing stories on here about either revenge or moving on but life isnt always like that saddly
Don’t feel bad. She caused her own problems. You don’t need that kind of person in your life and your kids don’t need that either
Always be wary of your friends, especially women. Stuff like this happens often
Friends can either be a benefit to your life, or a disease. Always pay attention to your spouse’s friends to avoid stories just like this.
i thought her friend would get arrested since it seemed like he could gather more than enough evidence for the police
Wow, OP is literally doing it all. She does not deserve him at all. He even calls and makes her maintenance appointments? That’s crazyyyyyy.
As both an active addict who has recently relapsed due to life circumstances such as OPs who was in recovery for years, she is not your responsibility and it is not up to you to bend the knee to someone who is walking all over you and using and abusing you my dude, you have to live a life happy for the kids, living in the situation this OP was in is awful and guess what OP would’ve relapsed for sure had he stayed there and kept quiet
This is a tragic story, the poor kids and OP
Haven't finished the video yet, however as a recovered addict myself, I have a whole storm of emotions about this whole thing. What she did is reprehensible, I'm not going to argue that, however addicts are people who aren't in their right minds. The OP did everything he possibly could have and is in no way at fault for anything that transpired, but after reading some comments I don't think I agree with the flagrant demonizing people are doing towards the now deceased wife. Addiction is a disease, it alters and changes the brain so much that the addict themselves become a prisoner to the substance they're hooked on. Worst of all, she paid the ultimate price for her addiction. Her boys are now motherless. I am not excusing her behavior but I believe everyone should stop with the over-the-top villainizing here. She's dead. She paid her price.
Edit: I finished the video. OP is stronger than he knows. He's taking all the proper steps to ensure that him and his sons futures can be as healthy and happy as they can be. He is open to others opinions on the matter and isn't lashing out at things he disagrees with. Once again I feel the need to point this out to people; Addiction is a Disease. All of these comments dragging the deceased wife over the coals, all the incessant and closed minded comments saying she got what she deserved, I want you all to imagine saying these things to those poor boys faces. Regardless of what happened, she was a caring and loving mother to them. She f*cked up, she paid her price. Now that family is left to pick up the pieces. I'm not saying what she did was right by any means, but a lot of you clearly need to educate yourselves about what exactly addiction is and have a bit more compassion.
It's not a damn disease so just stop. Lack of self control is not a disease. Compassion? This isn't about you. I swear you Westerners.
@@AA-ed6ek Educate yourself and look up the actual studies. It alters the brains chemistry to the point where it is literally all the addict can think about. There are countless studies out there that prove this yet people like you decide to ignore the factual science on it and refuse to acknowledge it. I am NOT condoning her actions and I still believe what she did was reprehensible, however I also believe that dragging a dead woman is uncalled for. As stated by the OP, she was a kind and loving mother to her children and she has already paid her price. She isn't Hitler.
All your comment does is proves you are choosing to remain ignorant and that you have no compassion towards those children who are now motherless. As I said, I want you to imagine saying all of these hurtful and toxic things about their mother to those poor kids faces. If your answer is any variation of "I absolutely would" You're the asshole here.
@@AA-ed6ek Well, I guess my original reply got taken down so here I'll spell this out for you in a more SFW manner: It is a disease. There are countless scientific studies conducted worldwide that explore the effects addiction has on the human brain. It quite literally rewires it and keeps the addict in a metaphorical prison within their own minds that keeps them seeking out the next high. They can be screaming at themselves internally but outwardly they are a broken shell of who they once were. The chemical imbalance can be so severe that it leads to mental health issues and other medical conditions completely unrelated to the drug they are hooked on. I suggest you do some reading on the topic and refrain from your closed minded and purposely ignorant ideas on what you believe addiction is.
As I have stated in my main comment, I would like for you to imagine saying any of these immensely horrendous and toxic things about this woman to her children. The OP stated she was nothing but a kind and loving mother towards her children. She has paid her price, her children will now grow up without their mother. I am absolutely NOT condoning her actions, but attacking someone who is no longer alive to defend themselves is low and I honestly think that anybody who chooses to do so is beyond reprehensible.
I can only pray that you have never had to deal with the horror that is addiction either personally or vicariously through family or friends. I have lost 6 close friends over the years due to the opioid epidemic spreading through Canada and nearly lost my own life to it as well. I made it out the other end, my friends did not. I pray you never have to know the horror of walking into a friends room in the morning to wake them up and discovering they had passed away in the night. Having to make that phone call to their parents. Watching as the paramedics come and remove their body. Walking into that room every day afterward and being reminded of all the memories you had shared. Realizing you will never have another chance to speak with them, hug them, make more memories with them. Addiction is a disease and I will never stop being an advocate of that until my dying breath.
Im amazed at how narcs convince themselves that the kindest most compassionate people are abusive, neglectful, monsters, etc.... I swear even kids become evil in their eyes..
So many damn red flags and he kept it going in this relationship. He's a really good man but these types of situations can ruin a person.
this story is so sad :( my mom was addicted to some pretty hard drugs when i was a little kid, but she kicked it successfully before i formed any memories of her high like that. i can't imagine how different my life would be if she hadn't.
I feel terrible for him, cuz her ODing ISNT his fault, every action has been her fault
"Life is short" a tiktok add begins to play "HeLlO" 😂
You should get your older son to help you clean out her side of the bathroom. You're going to cry, and maybe him seeing your tears will bring those emotions out of him as well. This is also a bonding moment for the two of you.
You see folks ? This is what allowing just one feminist acquaintance will bring you.
She wasn’t a feminist. She was a dealer who used feminism as means to sell her products. She a cancer
With those type of friends you don't need enemies
She's a good mother, after several minutes of saying she didn't do anything around the house lmao.
See this is why I despise people who go on rants about doormats and shit, a solid third of why this man's in such a mess is because y'all gave him a flinch reaction to being able to say he still loves her in spite of what she did to him, which especially after death is really hard to just stop doing.
When the mom who wanted her son to give her a lung abused him for saying no died in a car wreck, son still cried and missed her, and this is the same deal, if you think it's easy to just stop loving someone no matter what they've done to deserve it, that doesn't make victims who can't do that "door mats", it makes you someone who's never actually known what love is like.
Yeah, I loathe it when people throw the term doormat around. They fail to understand what kind of horrible existence leads to such behaviour.
She took the cowards way out.
So SELFISH to commit Suicide. She didn't think of her children or you and what or how this would affect her Family. Keep Strong on your journey in this world. You'll grow from this, as Bad as it is you will come out on top
My God keep his hand on you and your Family
The fact she took the easy way out proves so much. I feel sorry for Op but he has to move on, she did this on her own accord instead of getting serious help to sort out her problems.
This why you cutt off bad influence friends/family cos it might seem hard but in long run this is wat it does to people... Feels bad abt OP.. wish he wont be so understanding and hav a spine atleast for his children future. To stand up against his wife and wife friends
there is absolutely no such thing as an inhumane cheating clause. period
Bro was really stuck between a rock and a hard place
What the Hell is the point of a Stay at Home Mom if the chores are still split?
OP was delusional to not see that as a red flag 🚩.
No one should have a non-severely-disabled stay at home spouse, who does not do enough to justify a pay check.
Also, if you want one, try dating in a poor area or with international dating to find someone who willing to give up an alternative career.
OP's got a big heart and I respect the way he puts his kids first. It's sad OP's wife couldn't do the same. Seen a million of these stories now and this one law is as constant as Newton's. SAHM and wanting nails done = cheating.
19:15 that's not how every child thinks lol.
if someone stays at home for the whole day that person is doing EVERYTHING for house works and child chorces are splited
No you did good the trash took itself out. Repeat after me. 'I am responsible for my own actions, I am not responsible for anothers.' You are not some grand puppeteer.
I never understood this. He thinks he is at fault for not accepting her cheating. No you are at fault for allowing that friendship in the first place. My father passed away from cancer declaring his love to my mother. But not once has my mother didn't know if she crossed a line she will be out of that door. Because daddy had self respect.
Another repost .. cmon man
There is an update at the end
The update in the end was 9 day old
This is an AÍ generated story
The "friend" of the wife probably murdered her deliberately.
idk if im a sociopath but if i was op i would've been fine with her not surviving instead of having to divorce, it's less admin and she's not there to make the future more difficult. he feels like this is difficult but would probably be more difficult with an addict ex wife. as someone who used to struggle with addiction, it's difficult to leave it and can make life difficult for everybody who cares about you, im thankfully clean for a few years except alcohol and nicotine.
How can you tell whenever a junkie is lying? Their lips are moving.
I feel so bad for him and the kids but that "friend," I wish he had cussed her out, best her *ss or sued. How did that toxic witch get out of this unscathed?
>This might be part where I am the asshole
>I made breakfast, brought the boys to school and cleaned the house
🤣
This story made me mad at first and then by the end I just felt bad
A mum should never have respect or kindness from her kids if she is like that..
dont say sorry and move on, its all her fault
its crazy how much he was blind to her not giving fuck about him lol
He gave her a great life.
She traded all for drugs and modern feminism.
She destroyed everything.
A stay at home mom shouldn't be complaining about work around the house. What is supposed todo just chill at home on the phone and wait for him to get home and do everything?
And people think recreational drugs are okay
“Directly under me and my children’s nose (pun intended)” 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
addiction is a hard hurdle to over come sadly
Holy shit. Poor OOP and his sons.. These poor boys are gonna also have a lot of trauma, plus the generational trauma of their dad. The wife was not a good person, I can agree with that. But this whole situation overall just sucks.
It's not his fault, it's gets, she did this to herself.
Apparently she didn’t care for her kids that much because she chose to continue doing drugs and payed the ultimate price.
I hate how people who decide to go nuclear on their own life and hurt everyone around them. Disgusting deplorable behavior then he has enough a heart to feel bad she decided to do this to herself. He did nothing wrong other than react like a human being. The only thing he should have done was continue the divorce after the first attempt.
I'm glad OP stayed till the end. Leaving the wife like that would be no different than leaving if she got diagnosed with cancer. I hope I'm never in this situation. I can't see another loved one slowly getting worse before passing.
Looks like she woke up with fleas
She just wanted to do nothing at all and use OP’s money like these delusional women who think way too much about themselves
Wife tried to take the cowards way out (I can say this having survived my own dumb attempt) the way you felt was her only reason for doing it.
This has to be rage bait because every word of it is just anger inducing from OP
To think all of this started because of dishes and laundry.
I feel bad for OP but I struggle to find sympathy for the ex.
If you look up doormat in the dictionary hes face would be there
And after all that ordeal, the misandrist "friend"/dealer simply slipped away, certainly to destroy other wives and other lives.
These are all self inflicted wounds
someone needs to clear this up for me... the few stories ive heard here involve a stay at home mom, the mom dosnt do as much or is resentful of...... having to do the house works and kid stuff...... but its what they chose, just seems asinine to expect the person keeping the finanaces and everything else afloat to "do more".
what is a health balance in that sorta relationship actually look like..... couldnt even imagin chosing that sorta setup in 2024
We as humans can and will find a way to excuse anything.
my anger issues can not with her, she literally cheated and when op asked for a divorce he literally tried to unalive
I stated in someone else comment but the best advice i would give this dude is the same its the quote from baldwin the III show "A King may move a man, a father may claim a son, but remember that even when those who move you be Kings, or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. For when you stand before god you can't say "But I was told by other's to do thous or that" or that "virtue was not convenient at the time" this will not suffice" its a quote about that helps me remind myself that regardless of those around me regardless of the changes that happen around me my decision of what I do is mine to make if i fall into temptation then I and I alone must carry and atone for that sin
The thing hes ignoring is that he is remmbering the wife that he used to have and its making him relapse slowly with the smoking as a start. But his wife WAS NOT that same person before she died honestly
You don't let others influence your relationship!🤦🏿♀️🤦🏿♀️🤦🏿♀️
That is karma at its finest. She cheated on you and brought drugs into the home of a recovering addict and her children. This was supposed to open your eyes to divorce her. But since you didn't, god had other intentions.
This is the most depressing story I've ever watched holy shit
7:29 sometimes people NEED to be yelled at. People like your wife wont get how serious the problem is unless you do something like yell in their face. She wasn't taking it seriously, now she knows you are
Yeah yeah, to sad that she die but.....she did all that the moment she was discover and instead of talking to OP she decide to go in the easy way? She May be sad back then but that doesn't change that she didn't handle it like an adult and face the consequences, all she need to do is talk or explain, but she prefer to avoid his anger again......I'm also angry that OP blame himself for something he didn't even do!
I feel so bad for bro
Nta . She made her own choices.
