Hey Mel, I like to think of myself as a super solver. When there is a problem, I find a way to solve it. So, its too heavy for the roller you say.🤔 My solution would be to try something like the following... ▪︎Place the rollers in place as if you were going to put your 150ft. Vinyl on the feeder. ▪︎Next remove the long bar that holds the roll in place. ▪︎Position the roll - as if - you were loading it but instead get (3) table clamps that are under 12" and have a thick head like the ones I link. ▪︎Space them out evenly and clamp each one at the edge of the table horizontal to the feeder/machine. ▪︎Next, load the vinyl and allow the roll to rest against the clamps. ▪︎For added security, gently clamp the long bar to the table and allow the roll to rest against the bar. If there were a way for me to show you (virtually) or draw and send a diagram to you, i would be able to show you what i mean. But the set up im thinking of will keep it in place so it won't roll off the table yet it won't harm the feeder so you can use with standard smaller rolls. Table clamps can be found for as low as $3.00 across the internet. So this is not a costly solution. Hi Melissa, I purchased a Silhouette Cameo 4 about 12 months ago. I haven't been able to use it as I cannot set the software up because it wants a US email address and I live in Australia. Do you know how I go about setting it up or if there is a way around it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Studio is the design software that Silhouette uses and they upgrade periodically, like your phone. You can use the same version for the different machines. You have Studio Version 3. Hope that helps!
Thank you for your video! I was so excited to get mine, but unfortunately, I cannot get the software to SEND a job to the machine although everything is highlighted correctly. I was hoping to get some troubleshooting because I’ve tried everything recommended. I can’t get any response from the company via email or chat, so I guess I’ll have to return it with bad reviews. 😡
Amazing video! I was wondering about the print part. Even though the machine is "big", people kinda forget that you can cut a lot of materials when you have 5 kilos of force. I'm looking for it in the near future, my mind can't stop thinking in a lot of package prototyping and leather cut.

I'm considering this 24" unit. What I've been seeing is a lot of wasted vinyl. Could I nest different designs and such to use the most vinyl with less waste?
You're so right. The noise is awful... I get nervous about leaving my cutting alone, in case something goes wrong, so having to stay there while it's working on a huge design would be a bit annoying. I still want one, though! Haha!

First time with this product ever.
What do I down load software to?
A computer?
a laptop?
HP
.
Android?
iPad?
iPhone?
There is no book in the box!
Told hubby it was probably a rip off product...
No contact info in box either.
Did he need to buy a computer for this?
I am having an issue with the material going sideways while cutting and messing the up the whole cut. It happens bot from the mat and a roll. Is there a way to fix this issue?

Can you cut flock with Cameo 4 Pro cutter?
Hi Melissa,
I purchased a Silhouette Cameo 4 about 12 months ago. I haven't been able to use it as I cannot set the software up because it wants a US email address and I live in Australia. Do you know how I go about setting it up or if there is a way around it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have not heard of this, people all over the world download and use the software. I would try again b/c that doesn't seem right.
Can’t wait to get mine
Where did u get the pink heat press?
Does this machine do print and cut
Also?
Yes you can! As wide as you can print (up to 24"), you can cut.
Looks great. I have no use for something this big was wondering if the cameo 3 can be found anywhere I have the 2 now thank you
you can try ebay saw one there about a week ago
@@marquehulbert172 thank you
Going to preorder mine
Thanks for the video! Did you post the link for the 13 inch sticker paper for print and cut!?
What cut settings did you used? I'm having problems with my
Default for Vinyl,Glossy but increase the force to 14
I need to know why things are saving as "studio 3" when I have a cameo 4? tia :)
Hi there! You can always reach out to us via email and we can try to help troubleshoot. www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/p/blog-page_9.html
Amazing video! I was wondering about the print part. Even though the machine is "big", people kinda forget that you can cut a lot of materials when you have 5 kilos of force. I'm looking for it in the near future, my mind can't stop thinking in a lot of package prototyping and leather cut.
Hi, ive got this machine recently, i started with the little portrait and have since added a cameo 3 and 4 but this big one is causing me trouble haha.
Cutting with a mat but its moving around halfway through cutting! Any advice?
The only way to solve your issue is getting back to your Cameo 4. I'm quite disapponted by the customers' support
What is the difference between the commercial cutter and the silhouette Cameo Pro
How would this work with mylar for stain glass pattern making?
Is this good for htv vinyl? For t-shirts??
Yes it is :)
How do you cut small words and images?
I want it sooooo bad.
What cut settings do I do for matte vinyl?
Vinyl, Matte (and increase the force to 14)
Same quistion manual cutter
Cannot get the Bluetooth to work. On my phone
What about 24" vinyl in Germany?
More videos on the cameo 4 pro. I’m having so many problems with mine. I don’t want to give up and return it....yet
what problems are you having ? Im thinking to buy one so would love to know !!
@@laylamayarthur8244 Give it up! THe mat slips and you can't do a bigger print and cut because the cardboard keeps on getting stuck everytime the machine attempts to read the registration marks
What should I do if I have put my vinyl in without a mat but it won't let me cut because the "mat is not detected"?
Check out this tutorial about cutting without a mat: www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/2021/06/how-to-cut-vinyl-on-silhouette-cameo-4.html
Where do you purchase the vinyl at for the cameo 4 pro
I got this 24" vinyl from Swing Design
Can you use 12inch if the 24 inch is unavailable?
I can't cut without a mat. I always got bad cut at the middle part. Middle Roller Pinchers don't hold down the media. They don't even touch it. Is there a way to fix it or adjust it?
We'd really need to see your material loaded in the machine to tell.
I already report it through Silhouette America. But I got no response. I also attached photos regarding my problem. It is just a regular htv.
Did you figure out a solution?
I'm considering this 24" unit. What I've been seeing is a lot of wasted vinyl. Could I nest different designs and such to use the most vinyl with less waste?
Yes you can do that
My Machine cuts but it won't use the correct pressure ,so it's not cutting all the way through (if that makes since )
For vinyl increase the force to 14.
Cricut maker 3 or this cameo?
This is a 24" Silhouette CAMEO 4 Pro.
@@SilhouetteSchool I make a question 🙋♀️ Cricut maker 3 or this cameo (cameo 4 pro)
WHAT SETTING ARE YOU CUTTING ON? BLADE? FORCE? SPEED?
Hey there! Default vinyl settings with force increased to 14.
My OCD is saying Don't waste that vinyl.... cut it do small parts.
the machine would be awesome if the cutting was not soooo loud. Other than that great machine
You're so right. The noise is awful... I get nervous about leaving my cutting alone, in case something goes wrong, so having to stay there while it's working on a huge design would be a bit annoying. I still want one, though! Haha!
@@SmittenKitten. exactly...I have all the cricut machines....I can have two going at the same time and level the room
@@jaiej8998 I wish I had several machines!! I have to cut, then reload, the cut, etc. What a huge time saver that must be!
@@SmittenKitten. yes I use the computer for one machine and my iPad for another machine. I just made the investment to get more than one machine. It does help a lot
@@jaiej8998 If you ever start a channel, I'll be watching!
con que programa de diseño funciona??? o con cualquiera?
Hi there! Silhouette Studio is what you use with and of the Silhouette Cameos.
Can you use a a CB09 blade with it?
How do you turn on the automatic feed
Prior to loading press the up arrow on the right side of the machine. It will start flashing, then hold both sides of the mat or material so the front is slightly touching the rollers and they will pull the material in
Wait.... HTV doesn’t go any larger than a 15” roll?
I have the cameo 4 plus (15”). But I can’t get it to cut more than 12”. It’s so frustrating. Can any one help?
Make sure your mat is set to the correct size!
where can i get iron on vinyl thats 24in?
Has anyone done the pens with this machine ? I want to make anchor charts for my classroom
I hope they male it In black like my cameo 3
I just purchased a cameo pro &I'm a new user but for sum reason I can't figure out why my cameo pro isn't cutting the images right, &I can't be the only person that ran into this same problem
I found this review on Michaels "It will not feed correctly. Worked with Silhouette for over 5 weeks and was finally told the truth - the design is flawed and my machine couldn’t be repaired. Fortunately they provided a letter to Michael’s so I could return it for a full refund."
I have been trying emails & chats still no help. Problem connecting. Keep saying connect using USB. When I do that it says update Firmware. I try to update but you don’t need to update Firm ware for Cameo4 Pro. I need help contacting these people. Made to much money & not be able to use it.
