Great review Mark, like you I totally appreciate the value in these barrels aged beers. I have the black version. Have to say I didn't realise they produced a blond version too. Same colour bottle thru me. Barrel aged beers in general have had a great year, it seems all the producers in Belgium are getting into it which is s great thing. Equally so here in the UK there is a fast growing barrel ageing program taking shape. Once you try them there's no going back as you fully appreciate the quality. Cheers and enjoy.

Wonder why these Belgium brewers charge so much for the BA versions, compared to a lot of other breweries, e.g. De Molen, Keep etc.
