Whoever drew that clown boss knew exactly what he was doing. I think he wanted to scar children. He wanted to cause their trauma. Also, I loved the little Lub Lub keyboard rage bit. Caught me completely by surprise.
Clown Mask's facial expressions are so uncanny that it's creepy 🥶, & Mask Change (Pretty Bomber/Bomberman's sister's mech) from Super Bomberman 2 does a very uncanny face when hit. I love the Lub Lub keyboard rage too, it's too funny. I kept rewatching it (it's based on the angry professor bird character from Battletoads slamming the keyboard, along with the vs. battle music from Super Bomberman 2)
I still think the sun from Super Bomberman 2 is far creeper. The clown in this game just looks depressed, like he wants to be your friend but he's stuck being a boss _and_ you're wailing on him with explosives.
The true villain is whoever made that walking sound effect. It's interesting to see the inspiration for various future Bomberman bosses show up here, in a game with even less emphasis on single player story than the rest of them. This would also be the only game that doesn't end with the recurring series baddie Bagular or however you say his name.
Buggler (I think that's his most recent correct spelling, if Super Bomberman R is any indication) would only appear in the Super Bomberman games starting from 3. The first two are largely unconnected to the later ones, but the first one especially. At least with 2, the Dastardly Bombers return in the third one, rebuilt by Buggler. Unfortunately, he's completely absent from 5.
The thumbnail has some serious indecisiveness; the notifications showed the thumbnail had Bomberman on it, but it was Mecha Onita upon clicking it, & on RUclips on my TV, it's Clown Mask eating Bomberman. 😆
Ah man, Super Bomberman 1! What a blast from the past. My parents had this game when I was little, I remember my dad telling stories of how he and my mom played multiplayer Bomberman all night long after us kids went to sleep. 😅 And then years later I got to experience this gem of a game on their old SNES. I love this game so much, I can't even try to count the amount of times I've beaten it.
Yes, a new Bomberman video, & it's for the 1st SNES game! 😄 Pretty sure there will soon will be a Bomberman 64 Boss Analysis, which I will happily wait for. Until then, loving & enjoying the current Bomberman videos released on whoisthisgit. Also hoping for Creepy Moments/Bad Endings to include Pilotwings (similar to Warioland, your character cannot die, no matter how painful the crash is, but you game over in the helicopter levels, so you die for real on those levels 🥶)
I was wondering when i saw all the episodes of boss analysis, i was waiting the first bomberman to be analysed thanks for bringong the first game keep it up with the good content lub lub, ngl this boss theme is so epic and nostalgic.
That second boss reminds me, I'm surprised there hasn't been a clown themed Boss Analysis yet. It's a surprisingly common trope, funnily enough. Even one of the most obscure games I've been playing recently, called Pee & Gity, has one of those.
I've been following this channel since the first intro with the two stick figures and I've always enjoyed your work. I love this series. Keep it up! :)
This was quite a video to watch, and yeah, that clown was a big WTF moment. Hoping the Turbografx-16 Games (or at least '93 and '94) get covered sometime.
Maybe when you're done with the super series(hopefully including R) you could tackle some of the misc bomberman games like 93 which was I think the first one to include bosses? Saturn bomberman, neo bomberman, world, hero, 64: the second attack. There's also the MUCH more well known bomberman 64(although that was already in a creepy bad endings video) The games I would like to see covered the most are Saturn and 93 and 94. Also what the fuck is that sound effect the spider makes when it walks?
Hey heres a suggestion: bosses that use a motorcycle as their weapon of choice. Id love to see all the bastards that go zipping from left to right giving you no chance whatsover in a full vid,itd be great fun!
Since it wasnt brought up in the video (but is also not all that important): if you use the code 1 1 1 1 on the password menu, it will shrink ALL bombermen to tiny size during gameplay. This applies to story mode as well as battle mode. Im not sure if Im remembering it correctly. But this also shrinks the good bombers during the two "cutscenes" after the Mook boss and the final boss. It doesnt affect the evil bombers tho
Hate the death animation in this one. Bombermans goofy little face screen going pitch black and him lifelessly collapsing onto his back always felt a little too real to me.
Have you done or considered doing a Boss Analysis of bosses that act as clones of the player (e.g. the Doppelganger from Castlevania 3 and Symphony of the Night)?
I also like ones that try to do the "player thing" against them, like Steel Empire, typical shmup of tiny airship battling screen-filling behemoths, but when cornered, the boss brings up their small superpowered ship themselves and engage you in a dogfight. Gyruss also has one boss basically being two of your ships.
Coming back to this, I have to wonder if Nintendo wants us to develop a phobia of masks? We have Clown Mask from Super Bomberman 1, Mask Change from Super Bomberman 2 (both pull an uncanny expression if hurt), Phanto the mask who chases you in Super Mario Bros. 2 USA, & then there's Majora's Mask from Zelda: Majora's Mask who is evil, & all the horrific cutscenes of Link in pain when wearing a transformation mask.
Huh. I recognize the boss music from another Mario Fan Game before that music got changed as well. And the world map also is in a Mario fan game. Man, the creator really liked Super Bomberman
Hello, i was just watching your "can you beat dead rising 2 off the record with a 4x faster clock" video and was wondering if you could possibly use some of the strats speed runners use to possibly complete the challenge more efficiently.
YOU MONSTER WHY WOULD YOU POST THAT THUMBNA-HAY-HAAAAIL :,333 (Less hyperbole: I used to read gaming magazines as a child; a screenshot involving clown dude is SPECIFICALLY the reason I did not pick this game up from the rental place.)
Whoever drew that clown boss knew exactly what he was doing. I think he wanted to scar children. He wanted to cause their trauma.

Professor T Bird was on vacation lmao
Why did they make it the most detailed thing in the game
Probably impacted the devs of 20XX, as that game also has a clown face boss.
Man I was so satisfied with you mentioning the walking bomb of death trick. I thought I was a genius uncovering this as a kid by myself
Same here. I remember my excitement when I discovered it and ran to show it to my brother
The second boss: "Oh yes Bomberman, you'll float too!"
This game has one of the longest mercy invincibility periods I've seen, and it's highly useful, too!
It's so broken, that the early game gets anhiliated, even the 1st boss
i love go bombing spree for a while
These invencibility periods are longer than the stars in mario bros 3 (and maybe other mario games too)
I still think the sun from Super Bomberman 2 is far creeper. The clown in this game just looks depressed, like he wants to be your friend but he's stuck being a boss _and_ you're wailing on him with explosives.

Emperor Burger
(Yes i spelled that wrong on purpose.)
Buggler (I think that's his most recent correct spelling, if Super Bomberman R is any indication) would only appear in the Super Bomberman games starting from 3. Finally taking down the first of the Super Bomberman games, huh? Sweet, though I have to say, this game’s boss theme is immaculate.
15:54 gotta love how the game is teasing you by putting firepower power-ups imao
Man this game really had easy bosses. Still theme makes everything epic
Me : hears music
Also me : starts dancing like a mad man
This game has one of the best boss themes ever and no one's gonna convince me otherwise
The thumbnail has some serious indecisiveness; the notifications showed the thumbnail had Bomberman on it, but it was Mecha Onita upon clicking it, & on RUclips on my TV, it's Clown Mask eating Bomberman. 😆
Just realized that Mecha Onita is actually an homage to Japanese wrestler Atsushi Onita, right down to the electric cage
16:53 *Accelerates video*
Second frame of the lightning borders: *Adieu*

19:30 Nice callback to Starfox 64 XD
Amazing Boss Analysis as always!! I love these boss "introduction info" thingies you create, never fail to make me laugh XD
Awesome sauce, more bomber man!
i'm always happy when people give these games love
Yes, a new Bomberman video, & it's for the 1st SNES game! 😄

Didn't he kind of do that with that Creepy Bad Endings video on Bomberman 64?
Easily my favorite Bomberman game out there. Good to see you do a detailed Boss Analysis on it!
I was wondering when i saw all the episodes of boss analysis, i was waiting the first bomberman to be analysed thanks for bringong the first game keep it up with the good content lub lub, ngl this boss theme is so epic and nostalgic.
15:41 so you're fighting the DVD screensaver
Oh shit, the thumbnail turned into the world-eating clown, Bomberman save us all
Ah yes, my first Bomberman game growing up back in the early 90's. The music from this game stayed with me to this day.
"A CLOOOOWN! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH" - Sr.Pelo.
Also, "Nintendo is for the children."
SEÑOR PAYASO FELICIDADES POR EL DIA DEL PAYASO
Thumbnail is amazing and I love you análisis!!!
I am always excited for a bomberman video. I can't wait for him to do the newest game on the switch. I think those bosses would be hard for even him.
That second boss reminds me, I'm surprised there hasn't been a clown themed Boss Analysis yet. It's a surprisingly common trope, funnily enough. Even one of the most obscure games I've been playing recently, called Pee & Gity, has one of those.

I love this series. Keep it up! :)
4:00
Is this... Going where I think it's going?
....It did go where I though it was going. I KNEW others knew about this!
This was quite a video to watch, and yeah, that clown was a big WTF moment.
Hoping the Turbografx-16 Games (or at least '93 and '94) get covered sometime.
That clown face managed to be genuinely uncanny, I was not expecting that from Bomberman (not to say the series isn’t quite dark at times)
This series is never dark it just has the odd boss once in a while
Ah, the long awaited Super Bomberman 1 Boss Analysis! The first game's boss music was always my favorite of them.
Maybe when you're done with the super series(hopefully including R) you could tackle some of the misc bomberman games like 93 which was I think the first one to include bosses? man i wonder why people dont say much about the bomberman games because like... this shit is fire!
This Bomberman mini series is very good
Hey heres a suggestion: bosses that use a motorcycle as their weapon of choice. Id love to see all the bastards that go zipping from left to right giving you no chance whatsover in a full vid,itd be great fun!
The super bomberman series has a killer soundtrack

Hate the death animation in this one. Bombermans goofy little face screen going pitch black and him lifelessly collapsing onto his back always felt a little too real to me.
Well, the ones in games previous to this (where Black Bomber is the bad guy) Bomberman flails them bursts like a balloon.
Ay he knows the secret weapon!
Bomberman, after losing a life: "Self destruction is a PERSONAL VICTORY, brothers!"
I just realized that Mecha Onita appears as a boss in Kirby & The amazing mirror but with another name, and it's way cuter
Please do R! It's a really cool and really modern throwback to the second and third games! 😄
That Dr Claw has a major disadvantage. The Missile Mike's can't home-in on you
Have you done or considered doing a Boss Analysis of bosses that act as clones of the player (e.g. the Doppelganger from Castlevania 3 and Symphony of the Night)?

Let's GOOOOO!!
Bomb Madness~💣
6:17 "AAAAA! A clown! Eyyy! AAAAAAAAAAAAH!" - Mr. Hair
THE CLOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNÑN
Coming back to this, I have to wonder if Nintendo wants us to develop a phobia of masks?

The fourth boss is basically fighting the DVD screen saver logo.
Uiteru V = Hudson Soft’s rendition of the Wily Capsule
More Bomberman? Awesome!!
0:54 I hadn't noticed that beep until you brought it up 😐
Finally the first game and yeah the Clown to me at least its not horrifying, its hilarious
Huh. I recognize the boss music from another Mario Fan Game before that music got changed as well.
And the world map also is in a Mario fan game. Man, the creator really liked Super Bomberman
Oh hey, it's Mega Titan's big brother!
EDIT: That spider thing reminds me of a ReaverBot from Mega Man Legends.
thats some good music
Doctor Mook does Wily's eyebrow thing, too, I see. XD
They put Bigaron in the PSP game several years later. They did it twice actually, the second battle is just Bagura.
What about bosses that just try to push you out of the platform (Moldorn, Storm Eagle or Dail for freedom planet)
Another bomberman episode!
why Bigweld is a boss in megaman?
I love this meme or whatever this is in 26:32, where was this first appeareance of this meme that you made man?
Worst Levels Ever 21, which was about Battletoads.
@@whoisthisgit thanks man! Preciate ya!
Boss 1 is just bigwelds edgy brother
You ever tried demons crest? It seems like a game I would've seen on your channel.
That one has some great creepy bad endings.
The sound of the Spiderer moving is so weird
Hello, i was just watching your "can you beat dead rising 2 off the record with a 4x faster clock" video and was wondering if you could possibly use some of the strats speed runners use to possibly complete the challenge more efficiently.
I still have a working copy of this game.
Man i love bomberman.
Shame the Franchise ain't very active.
YOU MONSTER WHY WOULD YOU POST THAT THUMBNA-HAY-HAAAAIL :,333
(Less hyperbole: I used to read gaming magazines as a child; a screenshot involving clown dude is SPECIFICALLY the reason I did not pick this game up from the rental place.)
nice
Don’t forget Super Bomberman R...
no wonder why waluigi never got into smash, was an asshole in Bomberman.
Now it’s owns bomberman r
oh GOD good luck with super bomberman 5. saying from experience here it has the most bullshit bosses out of the 5 snes games
Eh, wrong, their is also super bomberman r.
I could imagine clown face saying : "im all out of M̶̱̬̑̄̓̿̚O̶̧͓̤͉͉͈͍̓͒̉̃͘͘̚N̶̨̨̼̲̮̪̬͇̙͐̈̃̈̊̓̉̇͆Ȩ̴̨̢̦̬̰̝̹͊̀̌̓͂͘̕͝Ý̵̨̮̪̞̬͓͇̦̠̅̈́̕"
