This does fill the need for an additional bed - seems clunky to put together, but I think fine as most scenarios will be just 2 people traveling and using the added bed likely infrequent. The main thing I can see is those 3 smaller cushions out on the extensions are going to fall off with the first movement of anyone laying in bed. Are you thinking of a way to keep them from sliding off? a velcro strip of some kind might be a solution, but that might need to be sown into the cushion to not fall off. Just a first impression. It's a great rig and gives a real offroad and 4 season option at a price much less than comparable options.

Thanks for the feedback. We did not show this in the video, but we typically put the smaller cushions in the back and the larger cushions then "lock-in" the smaller cushions. Of course, you could easily add some velcro to the cushions if you want to as well.

Thanks for the demo! The extensions look simple enough to install and remove but maybe a pullout slated system would be much simpler and quicker to setup. In the production units, will the brackets that hold the table in bed mode be adjusted so that the top of the table is at the same height as the seats? This would prevent the middle section to be lower than the head and feet.

Thanks for the feedback. We looked at a pullout slatted system, but it creates other issues. Good eye on the bracket for the table. Yes, it will be mounted 3/4" higher in the production units. It was installed at the current height in the prototype as we were planning to having a foldable table, which we dropped.

I really like the design of the AEONrv, except for the dinette. The problem with multi-function products is generally they are not very good at any function. Haven't found a dinette that's good for seating, sleeping, or eating. Cushions always slide around regardless of how much velcro or interlocking. Fixed table is always in the way of getting up, and too wobbly, it gets bumped and what ever is on it gets spilled/knocked over.

Everything is a trade-off in a small RV. Table can be locked in place and I work at it all the time just fine on my computer. I've slept on the dinette bed multiple times and I'm 6'0" and find it very comfortable. We use the dinette flip ups every night to to turn the seats into 2 lounges. However, nothing is perfect, but we like the multiple function aspect for our use cases. Come check us out if your have not already.

The cushion setup needs an overhaul, as the cushions shouldn’t slide around. There has to be a much better/simpler way.
Current solution isn’t worthy for a $200K offroad RV.

As I mentioned in a previous comment, we typically put the smaller cushions in the back and the larger cushions in front so they then "lock-in" the smaller cushions. Of course, you could easily add some velcro to the cushions if you want to as well.
