"Sissy Hands"... 🤣🤣🤣 That's too funny. 😄
This is a very cool demo!👍 I'm getting ready to do my very FIRST-EVER liver of sulfur treatment on some textured sterling rings I made so this is very helpful. I have drills and rotary tools but I don't have one of those Ring polishing mandrels. I wish I did have one because that certainly would make my job much, much easier. Until I'm able to buy one, I'm sure I can improvise somehow. Thanks so much for sharing this!🙂
(BTW, really good background music too.👍)
We called it a “Military Finish,” when we got our high school rings. When the ‘blackness’ would fade, we’d simply hold it over a match and let the carbon do its job. Then we would wipe off the excess, inside and out. It would last several weeks.
I discovered that by adding dripping wax from a candle, it would make the finish last six months. Plus, when I wiped the ring down with a rag, the wax gave it a brilliant shine.
Great video, thank you. If I would like to do that with a silver coin & not want it to get scratched by the wool, how could I do this beautiful effect then?
Worked great 👍
Love the comments on the video...good video as well
Thanks Ted!...Appreciate the comment!
Looks very good.
Will this method ruin a stone like Labradorite or agate if you soak it?
Who are the (11) DoucheBags that 👎this video!?!?!? Loved the video. Informative, short but sweet. 👍
Very cool Sir thanks for the info
Can an oxidized look be done on rhodium sterling silver?
Hi,how many else you make rings with coins, please show us the different things.
Yours sincerely
Nice video
Haha, sissy hands... you're a riot! 😂my drill is throwing sparks, so I will just use my hurting hands to polish it. Thank you, cool video, you did good, except for that drill I don't have, lmao 🙋♥️✝️🇺🇲
I live in Manila
Just leave the silver on the dresser for a few days
I relate to your comment even though I live in United Kingdom. For a few days during a really hot and humid spell when temperatures peaked to 38C, my copper cuff bracelet and silver cross chain went almost black. Had to clean everyday, sometimes twice a day. They settled down when the weather cooled. Usually I just give them an occasional wash with warm water and washing up liquid. I have not experienced this phenomenon before and found it really interesting.
Just have a light spray from black/brown/dark yellow spraypaint and then polish highspots works well
Thanks a lot
How do you stop the patina wearing off with wear?
Use a nail polish
Tell me ,please how to do the same antick (patina) look to just not silver coin (clad quarter)Is it possible with same process? Thanks

Thank you for your question about how to do an antique patina on non silver "Clad" coins... Often times with clad coins they can be made very dark by just heating to dull red then quenching in water. You can then use the polishing mandrels shown in our other videos to finish the two-tone effect...Take care...CoinCrafter
I will try to do it with Woodglut plans.
Lol.... sissy hands
your spelling is incorrect..not the manufacturer
do not send me messages telling me my spelling is incorrect..if you had any command of the English language you would know that my spelling o'f 'your' is correct...unlike your correction of 'you're',,,
Maureen Campbell You can spell sulphur either way... both are correct
