This was very ignorant. Obviously you’re unaware of the fake Hermes bags that cost a few thousand dollars (not the low end reps you have). I work in luxury and own real Hermes, there are many replicas that come through our doors that are completely undetectable right down to the smell. This makes it very hard for the authenticators, there’s tons of all brands of replicas that pass through authentication, unknowingly, so to say the quality or feel isn’t the same is very ignorant and that’s the type of person that gets fooled. The replicas featured here look nothing like a top tier replica.
Not sure what your point is? There are plenty of people who are buying low end replicas. We are just show casing what low end replicas look like. Do you have suggestions on how to avoid buying super fakes? I think that would be helpful for this community.

@Somehowadulting Well you're title says "all tiers of fakes" so if you're saying they're just not worth it then you should be showcasing that even super replicas aren't worth it, which you aren't. Then when someone with real knowledge gives you criticism, you immediately act like you don't understand and you didn't include "all tiers" in the title. It's just a revolutionary thing called logic. If you're only showcasing low level replicas then admit you only bothered with low level replicas. Everyone knows they are not high quality because they're not "super replicas". Your video is unnecessarily snobbish and unhelpful to viewers interested in this topic since you're playing with low quality and using it as an excuse to validate your belief that paying 10, 20 or 30 thousand dollars for a bag somehow makes you a more true, classy or elegant shopper.
Like most reasonable people, I'd think real "class" means that I'd put that money towards my children's college fund or my retirement portfolio instead of an overpriced tote.

I completely agree. The rise of "superfakes" has meant that it is almost impossible to tell the difference between replica and authentic. Even some real stores designer stores, such as Hermes, accidentally sell replica superfakes as authentic as they cant distinguish between the two.

It's not an end all be all statement. But there are more regulations with big luxury and more eyes on these companies than illegal replica making companies. For example, Loro Piana got called out recently. That's what we are referring to.

You have to ask yourself why is it illegal? It's because these big name brands have lobbied to make it illegal so they can continue to mark up their own product and corner the market. It's certainly not due to wanting to keep their product proprietary. There could be regulations on the materials but again that goes back to lobbying and corner the market to keep product marked up. The name and brand is all an illusion so they have the opportunity to mark up their product that doesn't even come close to what they're selling the product for. Buying things to make you happy is fine but this video seems passive aggressive.

LVMH is like the richest corporation in the world and they have a million offshoots so even if I can't afford a $20k bag, a consumer might still buy designer sunglasses from LensCrafters that are LVMH brand so the corporation is still not losing money.
And your point about the leather quality and top grain leather is excellent too. This RUclipsr clearly hasn't seen Tanner Leatherstein videos and has never worked with leather herself. Growing up in equestrian sports, leather is my thing and I can tell some super replicas can be great and some real brand bags can be absolutely low quality leather (or not even real leather as Tanner Leatherstein revealed in a Chanel video).

Try traveling to Tokyo Japan they sell Original lux brands for less like LV , Channel , Gucci ,Coach ,YSL etc for less its still more pricey than the fakes and still in good condition i just dont know how the costoms works in the USA if they will still tax you 2nd hand lux items but sure either buy the brand new *esluxscom* you want or travel half the world away to buy 2nd hand lux items for few days that also includes your plane ticket hotel accomodations for how many days food and goodie stuffs for families and friends and other expencess but they said " original LV Bag from Japan for less " or just travel to Bangkok thailand and visit the Platinum Mall buy as many replica bags all you want w/o the hassel

what a good point about wear and tear of the fakes! while its a "Great price' the materials/construction are not up to quality it will not last for years, i have seen so many at thrift stores many fakes and they are terribly deteriorated and smell awful, while some parts might be real leather not all of it is - the wear on tarnish for eg. is terrible too. Just not worth it if it is going to deteriorate so quickly.
@rosem709 I wish I took a picture of the zippy wallet I had to show how it was crumbling on the inside. The outside was fine. But absolutely! It's just not worth buying these fake bags because they just won't last. Who also knows what kind of material they use. It might be good for us either? That's just my speculation. A lot of people out there may still be on the fence about it. At least this video can help make an informed decision. I wish I had saved my money on the real ones instead of fakes.

Thank you for talking about the return policy. I recently bought a felicie on the website and when it showed up at my door it was BEAT TO H*LL. Someone clearly used and abused it before returning. It had a huge crease down the side, the corners were bulging from being over stuffed, and the glazing was chipping *esluxscom*
This video is great as it showcases both sides of replicas; showing the negatives (which the media tends to focus on) and the advantages which most people shy away from or disregard. Actually Goodwill will send anything that is replica or real to it’s internet division because they sell online. They will have the bag authenticated and if it’s real they will sell it on their website. If it’s fake they will not.

Thats the problem, if a date code matches the country and date of production of the bag being copied, there is no way of authenticating without a recipe from the store, it's not like vachetta leather is only used by LV, it's available everywhere. And these companies don't keep a record of serial codes on the bags they've sold, they make thousands of them, they are mass produced. They don't store date codes on their database, so if someone copies an LV date code, you would never know. Same as sellers who replace the leather lining on an old bag and resell it for thousands, claiming they are 100% genuine when technically, they are not. They simply add a new sticker , or attach the date code and claim it's 100% genuine. Designer bags and the resale market are totally rorting people, and they are completely ignorant & unaware.
Real wealthy people dont need to proove their status by logos so they wouldnt care you think they carry a *esluxscom* or real.

Buying real or fake aren’t good investments. If you buy real ones and decide to resell them in the future, you have to sell only a few hundred dollars less than the original price and if you decide to buy a fake, you can never resell it or gift it because it’s not the real thing however it’s only a few hundred dollars and you would’ve lost the same amount anyways if you were to buy a real one and resell it in the future. I have 2 super fake ones and I only wear them occasionally, I feel like I should’ve invested in contemporary ones instead.
yep, sadly that's very true. A bag is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, that's why you see so many vintage Chanel flaps don't ever move. You only realise this when you go to sell a bag yourself. Then you realise the only bags that sell are the ones which were kept in immaculate condition, they will sell for a decent price, the rest will remain unsold. or their value is reduced. All those bags listed at very high prices won't sell unless they are reasonably new, then you might make a profit, but only if they have been hardly used and in great condition.

Fake ones have come a long way...I have an "NF" and it passes all your tests, stitching the package, lettering, etc. I don't think your old fake is a good example. Besides, there are *esluxs* that are very cost-effective and they deserve to be seen.
A point to consider is that when you buy the Asian replicas there is an economy that is supporting these workers to have jobs who also need to make a living. It is not a black and white thing. So thenone has to wonder if supporting the original designer companies workers is more valuable to be concerned with than the asian factories. My thought is if they make goods that are less costly, but don't brand them as "the same" perhaps there is a peaceful place in the middle?

U can check, a lot of problems with the buckle and the plastic backing can crack. Anyway, I think from the point of sustainability we should buy good quality stuff that can last and pass them on to someone else when we don’t use anymore. No fakes for me. 😊

At least Nike has the transparency to admit theirs is made in China, while Chanel or Gucci ship the bag to France or Spain to be stamped and have the hardware placed and then claim it was "entirely made in France". Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl. At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *esluxscom* . Something like a step-by-step for newbies (like me) who feel out of their depth. The thing I worry about an the awkward moment when I've spent 20mins drooling over a bag just to turn and leave empty-handed. Idk what to say! Maybe that sounds dumb but I'm so awkward, I don't want to come off as rude or uncomfortable, it's not their fault I'm an anxious mess.

The issue I have is that brands like Chanel are no longer asking people to pay for the quality of their items like back in the day. I get that there is the issue of exclusivity, but there is nothing you can say to me to make me pay Eur 8000 simply to be associated with a name. Like really, who are you?!?! Give me a high quality non-designer bag any day of the week! Quite frankly, if I really fall in love with any particular Chanel design, I would go to the *esluxs* market because I do not see the value that Chanel or many of these luxury fashion houses offer. The fact that many authenticators do not authenticate more recent bags is proof of this in my eyes.
Buying replicas is depressing because the whole idea of luxury is working hard to achieve things for yourself that you can be proud of. But a lot of people that buy replicas are doing it because they want people to see them a certain way, how sad is it the people you're trying to impress can tell you're carrying a fake and still aren't impressed. There are tons of brands that are affordable and high-quality if not better than some genuine luxury brands.

And yes, when I was young I didn't know any better. But now over the years I've learned that I do not want to support this replica industry. Most people usually can't tell the difference if it's a replica or not. But for me, I know and feel uncomfortable wearing one. And of course I have appreciation of design, art and intellectual property so I would hate that if I came up with something original for someone to knock it off. I never wear bags to impress someone. I wear bags as it truly brings me joy.

it is depressing, because people spend sooo much money to obtain an exclusive, unique bag, even a mini flap costs several thousand. The sad thing is the reputationional damage being done to the brand, it is being ruined bcos when ppl see a beautiful flap bag, they assume it's fake. They are so prevalent, and bcos it's so easy to replicate, it's hard to tell the difference between them.
That's not a fair comment. I buy authentic bags. I'm fortunate that I can afford them. I don't buy bags to impress anyone else. I buy Vuitton, Goyard and Gucci because I love their beautiful monogram prints. I buy Dior because they are works of art and extremely beautiful pieces. So you're generalizing those of us who buy these bags saying we only do it to impress others, and then you're generalizing people who buy fakes saying they are trying to be something they are not. If these luxury houses actually charged fair prices, then that would take a bite out of the fake industry.
Real wealthy people dont need to proove their status by logos so they wouldnt care you think they carry a *esluxscom* or real.
Loved the video! I have a Small *esluxs* in black calf leather, and absolutely love it. Not necessarily the most practical because of the narrow opening, but you can fit so much in there!

The reality is: if you are rich and famous, your *esluxs* will be seen as real. If you are just an ordinary worker working a 9-to-5 job, your genuine bag is likely to be considered fake.
