Hey Sparky! That plow is very similar to the warn plow. I wouldn’t change the pitch from where you have it now. Quads plow very well in fluffy light snow. Deep snow can be a challenge. I hung my quad up in a tree to put the bottom plate on, worked well.
This looks like an awesome set up. Just watched your other vid so I know it works well. I saw somewhere on here the guy added a length or 1-1/2” abs pipe (with a slit down the middle) to the bottom of the blade. That would stop it from digging in to much. Nice work! 👍
Sparky , I have the same plow on my Polaris Atv. I would suggest you turn the mounting bolts on the back of the push tubes up side down, placing the nuts on top, there is times I catch them on things and have bent them.
Good idea ...Im buying more 1 1/2 tube and am going to put longer ones ...about a foot longer ...they are only 31 inches long ...im going for 43 or 44 inches than it will sit out front of the bike better ....if i move the mount forward the front tires will hit at full turn ....
Good call going 60 inches Sparky. I’ve a Grizzly 700 and when you fully angle my 60 inch plow it barely covers both front wheels. Any shorter of a plow and you’d have a wheel exposed when fully angled. I got lucky and picked up a secondhand Click and Go 2 for $450 fully assembled. Just had to install the plow mount. Crazy expensive new. The mounts more than your whole setup. Shocking how much snow it will move. I also have a Honda track drive 13-32 snowblower. Perfect tag team. Honda and Yamaha can be friends lol. Anyway I love the quick release and reattachment. I’m sure glad I got it for a fraction of the new price.
