I started playing the guitar because of your tutorials. I stumbled across your Dunkelheit video and it seemed fairly easy to play because you explained it very well and it made me want to pick up a guitar for the very first and I've been playing ever since! Keep up the good work Simon and thank you!!!
All my songs I listen to I have learnt from simon I love his pure talent some songs are done by ear I’m so grateful to have such a good teacher letter lone RUclipsr as you may know there’s not much of a selection of black metal on RUclips but I know every time I want to learn something This guy is the way some songs aren’t on here but just click the next video and you will have as much fun and what’s good is it sticks he breaks it down and goes slow by the end you know the song no repeats needed
The first song you play from Lluvia is very similar to Dawn's The Knell and The World, which is one of the best songs ever made, imo. Would be cool to see you teach that one!
Bathory's A fine day to die, Twilight of the Gods, One Rode to Asa Bay, Raise the Dead, Reaper or any one of those songs. Or some old Immortal like an acoustic version of Tyrants would be awesome or At the heart of winter.
@@standartenfuhrer3199 omg I'm glad you could recognize me yes man. the old channel got suspended over some shit. now here i am again. theres better shit coming soon on my channel
Love the videos and the black metal course. Wound upon wound, that's the one song I'd like you to teach. Keep doing what you're doing man. Great channel.
I had this in the background when you suddenly started playing Harakiri For The Sky, kinda took my by surprise. Absolutely amazing band, I think you might enjoy the next track from that album, Jhator as well. I also wouldn't mind you doing a video on it if I may say so.
All of them are great! For new suggestions, I'd tip you off to the french band Déluge, especailly Appâts and Houle, both great songs that I've tried to learn, but I can't even figure out their tuning
Hi Simon! Thank you for your videos! They're very useful. I am the beginner, so your covers and your explanations are very clear for me! What about ROTTING CHRIST's - Dies Irae? Can you make video about it?
Hey Simon, I know your list is long but I believe it needs another addition! Chevalier Maudit by Suhnopfer (great one man band, the drummer from Peste Noire), or if you want to go acoustic, Majestueux Repaire by him as well, pretty much the same riffs. Thanks for all your tutorials Simon! \m/
Hey Simon! Thanks for spilling all that guitar wisdom on us, you're like a Vanir thrown amongst us poor human beings. Would you mind giving us a lil' breakdown for Enslaved's Isa song ? It's hard to find something really accurate with this one.
If someday you could do a lesson any of the tracks from Gris - il était une forêt... That would be fantastic. Or Nocturnal Mortum - Goat Horns in a different subgenre
I just started learning guitar playing from your awesome beginner video. Reason for that is I want to be able someday play some Insomnium.. Maybe you could do any of these? Insomnium: Drawn To Black, Mortal Share or The Day It All Came Down.
Can you please do a tutorial on Tsjuder - Antiliv and Darkthrone - Boreal Fiends (especially the end solo!) I can not find the tabs and i REALLY want to learn those songs. Anyway keep up the good stuff on this awesome channel 🤘
I'd really like to hear a good cover on Marduk's Summer's end, whether it's "proper" or acoustic cover It would be completely up to you, but that song is amazing while noone had a good cover on it
just wondering. i want to learn how to play guitar and if i'm just using headphones to listen to myself play, is the outside noise quiet enough so i dont bother people in the next room? or should i rather get some noise dampening foam?
Get some noise dampening foam and DON'T play with headphones because they can damage your hearing really badly because most amps aren't designed to be used with headphones.

The first song you play from Lluvia is very similar to Dawn's The Knell and The World, which is one of the best songs ever made, imo. Would be cool to see you teach that one!
