Hi Melanie! I am so glad I recently found your channel, I've been trying to find and support more crochet RUclipsrs, I've been a crocheter for a little over a year now. I was one of the people who found you by your blanket video I'm glad that the video is getting so much attention! I love listening to you talk about the little things you enjoy and your process, it's the best type of video to settle down and crochet to :). I had an idea that you could line your lemon pouch, I think lining makes it so much cuter and I think it makes it more durable as well. Maybe you could find a cute lemon or floral fabric! Just a thought :) As I was enjoying this video, I was crocheting some granny square fingerless gloves!

I’m so glad I could reach you with that video and I hope to make a lot more of these chatty crochet videos- they’ve brought so much joy to my life as well! And I absolutely love the lemon lining idea!!! It would make the project that much more complete as well for gifting :,) definitely going to look into how to sew that shape haha (I’m not the most confident sewer but I’m determined now…)
currently crocheting a seat cover for my boyfriend for his Christmas present :) i feel like its a perfect way to combine his hobby (gaming) with mine (Crochet)
I worked on a C2C blanket whilst watching this! It was lovely to have each other as company hehe. Re: the tree skirt not laying flat: It seems the skirt does not have enough increases to lay flat. Looking at the image it seems like the clusters of double crochet closer to the skirt middle are skinnier (?) than the ones further away. The squares does not look, well, square despite having the same amount of cluster stiches in each row. Regardless, your tree skirt turned out very cute, and it looks great with the tree!
Wow I’ve never even heard of that, I had to look it up but it looks so lovely!! I love learning from such experienced crocheters in the comments :,) I always appreciate the insight! I think you’re totally right looking back at the photo, I definitely should’ve referenced it a bit closer when working but I guess I was too mesmerized by the beach😅 hopefully I will be able to try again for a larger tree skirt next year and use your tips💓
