Hello all,
Welcome to a Victorian heritage video. Today, while we are in the seasonal break, we have one of our spare heritage videos from last year. 707 Operations are known for running weekenders. For this trip, the train was hired out for a private weekender. They left Melbourne on the Friday night, travelling along the Northern line to Echuca. There, the engines swapped ends for a trip back down to Rochester, where they stabled. A morning departure on Sunday had the train make a sprint back to Melbourne. Locomotive A66 took charge with A62 and N471 tagging along as extra power. This was also the first run of A62 in its fresh V/Line Tangerine livery.
We begin our video in Rochester, and follow their journey back to Melbourne.
