Looks like he's running some older model of Deeluxe boots with f2 bindings. There isn't much choice for boots, since there are only couple of manufacturers (Head, Deeluxe, UPZ/Virus). There are many companies making bindings, but I'd say F2 would do justice for someone who's going into hardbooting. And gear priority wise, I'd say boots first, then binding and board. It's utterly important to get the right fitting boots. For more information, you could hit up online communities such as bomberonline forums and whatnot. Hope this helped a bit
