Acts of service is not the same as giving gifts And it is been kind of debunked as a theory that giftgiving is any type of love It’s can thoughtful. It can be part of friendship, but it is not how you show love You cannot just buy people things and say you have a healthy relationship and that you’re showing love you do actually have to have emotional connection and put in the emotional work regardless of if you’re good at it or not for it to be a healthy relationship you can’t replace emotional work with giftgiving
Danielle kept doubling down in her crappiness, if you make someone cry you should be feeling bad and try to fix it, its kind of concerning how dismissive she was with gabby's feelings considering she's in her mid 30's. I would have assumed she would be clued in by that point on the proper response to the situation especially as a "founder ceo"... There's an ego in her that I didn't really see clearly before that and that's what stopped her from accepting her wrongdoings (as minor as they me seem) and trying to fix the situation. I agree that Gabby's panic attack felt like an over the top response but I can understand how those comments were her final straw. Then she just got worse because of the situation they were in, in front of your friends and then add the cameras and knowing this will be on tv just makes it even more stressful and makes the panic worse. I just had so much empathy for her in that moment
