I get why Nick would think Maria's conspiracy theory is far fetched, but you don't need to spread gossip about Maria's on-set behavior and mock her to back up your point. I think Nick is clearly projecting and overreacting cuz she called you out about hiding your friendship with her while you recapped her on Joey's season.
There was no need for Maria's paranoid conspiracy for attention either. Women's bad on-set behavior needs to be exposed and called out. Just like they call out men's bad behavior. That's equality.
If you listen to the CHD interview, she initially thought when she first saw Nick and Sydney hanging out that it could be a conspiracy. Like a paranoid thought but she doesn’t still believe it.
Plus Alex confirmed that they were booked with Maria before to announce her as bachelorette…

I came here to watch the good guys but I have something to say about Nick and Maria. I am one of few people who was not a Maria stan this season. I did listen to her on call her daddy and enjoyed her a lot. Nick acting arrogant and Natalie laughing when talking about Maria is ALL I need to see and hear to determine the “truth” haha. Maria FTW.

These comments definitely passed the vibe check. This podcast definitely dropped the ball as they do often. Not because everyone rides for Maria but because they way they chose to address the situation was hilariously dumb and reinforced perceptions viewers had of the Viall’s- immature and defensive for no reason. Yes, and Natalie has said multiple times that she never wants to hear about his exes so she is clearly mad. Instead of taking it out on Nick for omitting that he knew Maria throughout the entire season, she decides to attack Maria, which makes no sense.

Nick never mentioned his friendship with Maria during his bachelor recaps .. I don’t believe “his versions” of things at all.. also there is no need to attack and belittle Maria. I’m also shocked that nicks wife would spread the rumor that she was difficult to work with like Claire .. women supporting women not her thing I guess or at least women not putting other women down and feeding into a patriarchal narrative that strong women are “ difficult to work with”

The “theory” shows Maria’s arrogance. It’s ridiculous for Maria to think that Nick would’ve spent any time or energy trying to “conspire” to make her the villain. Ya I think the bad mouthing was unnecessary. Could’ve just played up how strange it was and what he said about how you can easily be the villain when you have a big personality (compliment).. and a lot of people prob message him doesn’t mean he knows them well enough to say during a RR that he knows her. He gives out relationship advice to people every week doesn’t mean there’s a relationship there. But also wasn’t he always saying kind things about her during the season and how the show needs to make her Bachelorette etc. Maria very intentionally knew what she was doing putting a story like that out into the ether and on top of that on his wedding. That’s what prob rubbed Natalie the wrong way as it feels calculated (but again doesn’t justify saying anything demeaning). Maria admits to being calculated by wanting to leave after the Jen kiss thing. She served it as tea but it just felt like something she shouldn’t have shared. Joey’s high EQ def caught on. If anything her comments about always wanting to be on the show and buying pieces to wear in hopes of one day being on.. it just felt like oh ok it 100% was always was just for fame. Which, go on, get your bag girl! But she was doing so good already, everyone loves her. The conspiracy theory just seemed so huh?

I’m sorry-I know everyone’s happy for them getting married and having a child but their relationship is built on lies and phoniness so I’m not surprised about this. They both lie. Natalie sliding in his dms and pretending that she didn’t know who he was, Nick not wanting anyone to acknowledge the age gap, Natalie stealing someone’s else’s caption to wish him a happy birthday on Instagram, Nick withholding information about knowing contestants and pretending he doesn’t know them and erasing evidence on social media. Knowing his history with Maria also proves his habit of trying to seduce young women to sleep with him. They are a mess.

Why is it so hard to believe that someone says yes to an opportunity very soon after another stressful, televised situation then once in the thick of things realizes this isn't for them and that their anxiety is too much so they remove themselves to preserve their sanity and happiness.

Nick's producers can never get a story straight, hence Nick and Natalie end up being bitchy unnecessarily about Maria this time.

The mean girl energy about Maria is gross. It really bothers me that Nick chooses to respond to situations without ever watching the source material himself. Maria’s tone was clearly lighthearted. It was not a serious accusation. But, Nick feels comfortable spending a significant period of time demeaning her with his paid band of followers based on hearsay.

I sadly have a black fridge without the water/ice dispenser and I can confirm it is the worst! 🤣 It's nearly impossible to keep clean from prints and even cleaning it mostly just makes it streaky. But when I moved into my house the appliances that came with the home were black (stove and dishwasher) and brand new so it made sense to match and they were all the rage at the time

I’m SO glad to hear Alex Cooper and Nick are friendly enough to text eachother!! I LOVE Alex and I LOVE Nick but for some reason I had myself convinced he didn’t like her or her podcast!
So for roasts the person being roasted actually can set limits and say certain topics are off limits. Tom Brady said Robert Kraft and his kids were the only thing off limits. That’s why the only thing he got mad at was the one Robert Kraft joke! Production also chose to not tell any of the comedians about Kim kardashian being there so they wouldn’t just start roasting her (which I thought was kind hilarious lol) but yeah they definitely do set boundaries on the speakers
