Block Tales | Level 1 Hard Mode++ Prologue

- I'm challenging myself to beat the Block Tales demo at level 1, WITH Hard Mode, Thrill Seeker, Double Pain, and Thick Skull. This challenging run will only get harder as I progress through the game.

Don't forget to sleep on the beds to recover your health, you MUST be topped off for basically all fights since even 1-2 hp could be the difference between life and death, later on the enemies attacks are going to instakill you even if you guard, but atleast you will have a small marging of error to heal up, since the hp scrolls down
fr though. thats why most people do this challenge without gusto/no exp gain(supreme mosquito is impossible with gusto equipped, unless he doesnt heal on block)

The fact that red noob one HIT you is insane I guess it shows how difficult this is
You know what would make this 100x harder, a squad, the hp scaling is insane with 4 people

I was doing a run like this but instead I only have double dmg and halfed guarding window. It took me a bit to do Noobador, what helped me was using training wheels for fights that I felt like I needed it to help me block in and it helped me progress through.

Gusto, Hard mode and Thrill Seeker at it's finest. (Litterally tiny window to block.)
thorns card as well (thorns is -10% guarding window)
So basically: Thrill Seeker(halves) + Hardmode(halves) + Thorn up to 5(-50%)
So effectively... -25% block window... wait what. Or if I didn't do the math correctly and thorn halves it instead then its a 12.5% guard window.
100 percent guard 50 percent guard 25percent guard 12.5 percent guard

Oh yeah
The tip here is to take out both of them at the same time to minimize damage because they only increase damage if you kill one of them.
i tried to do the same thing you did like 3 weeks ago or smt or 2 weeks and i spent 1 hour with 2 players getting past the first 2 minibosses im not even saying what about the chapter 1 or 2 [11 hours] edit: im subbing

You can also use gusto if you want to make it more difficult

Ah yes the secret Megaten Mode, i love intentionally making my games super hard to play.
Now bring 3 alt accounts to add more hp to the enemys :)
and i think hard mode before the chapter 2 update was hard
Demo 1 Hard mode was manageable as you still had your guarding window safe in exchange for no supeblocking

Amazing video! Could you try a Hardcore run where dying deletes your save file and a Hardcore+ run where it implements Hard mode++ and Hardcore rules together?

yesterday i beat cruel king with hard mode, double pain, gusto, and thrill seeker. THANK GOD ITEM PLUS EXISTS (guru) its not that hard tbh if you have a strategy as the attacks are set
Gusto is basically hell mode

All modfiers and hard mode is possible with enough rng
I used all hard cards but thick skull and reached cruel king. I kinda quit afterwards since scepter strike is frame perfect and deals 10 DMG on block. Good thing you can hold q to quit battle earlier if you take mortal damage (every attack on missed block) and are frozen.

Tbh i thought you needed a Dash jump (you jump higher when you cancel your dash faster) and thats how i got on the roof..

I was wondering how you got past blue and red, since it's LITERALLY an impossible fight, but then I realized you still have the right to superguard.
Just parry and use guard. (A guy who beat normal mode floor 29 (also I stop at 4:33 due to time stuff.))

you fought so many optional battles tho, you dont gain xp so theres so reason to tbh

To make this harder you could equip ante up and a card that reduces 1 damage
(you could grind levels for bp so you can equip ante up and a card that gives - 1 dmg)
Wdym harder it's same dmg???

I think you should do a knight build, but that’s Just me.
Don't think you can do a knight build considering you only have 3 BP and Knight cost 4 BP

@@minislime23 gotta remember u cant superguard and it takes too many turns to kill blue and red especially when ur only items would be bomb and cheeseburger, no hp+ card or anything, and if u do end up making it past ull just keep dying to hordes or random stuff that deals high damage
edit: u will literally get one shot even with a block against scepter strike

Imagine they complete the game with 7 chapter and play on this hardmode plus with level 1
This is basically old hard mode 💀
Old Hard mode was just Gusto and Double Pain (except if I remember right, it used to be 3× damage)
it was x3 damage before, now if you combine hard mode and double pain, you get x4 dmg
And it add no level up💀
now do it on hardcore

@@thisisbupFun fact is possible. You can actually beat chapter 1 with thick skull, thrill seeker, double pain, gusto, and hard mode! But is absolutely hard.
