I found this version through Dhalif.. I prefer Petrucci and Dhalif's Version.. there are more emotions on their version.. but Neil Zaza Version is good too I just prefer Petrucci and Dhalif's Version over His..
As a fellow North East Ohio resident, all I can say is: How is this guy not a world famous musician? At least the equal of Joe Satriani and John Petrucci, who I also love. Neil is incredible. I am grateful that Neil occasionally graces us NE Ohioans with playing locally.
Yes, Zaza is not Satriani or Petrucci but ...he is one of the best guitar player of the present time. and his music will reach many...just because ...it is (I will not say better but ) very nice.
He has a good melody turnback style...it starts with melody, improvise in between , and come back to melody at the end ! He is my favourite..along with joe in terms of melodious shreds
OK Deb. Das and Krankensteinx: I saw Mr Zaza w/Bobby Rock & The Budda on bass(world class drummer/bassist in 1980, Zaza was like 21 maybe, 37 yrs ago, and he blew my, and everyones shit away! All the Pro guitarist were up in front and outside afterwords "We were speechless!" Too many f'n haters out there right Kranken! Too much comparin guys that are all so "off the charts fabulous" it's becomin childish, childs play for example, a mo ago I heard a guy actually (talk about clueless!) say, "Well I think Steve Morse is light yrs better than Eric Johnson!!" I Lived in Austin in 80's saw Eric 25+ times and S. Morse once (but lotsa vids)and have all the Dregs n Dixie Dregs LPs, I call it "straight up even!" How in the fuck can you even compare these "2 beyond genius players" is the stuff that's becoming "completely LAME" anymore. Anybody that hates anyone that's really good is 110% jealous! I'm a lover of "Luke" since about 1977! He's on 2,000+ LP's and can play it all better than anyone! Listen to Toto live "White Sister" in say 2007 and that's the tippy tops for me! But I'll never say he's the best because that guy might be a busboy at Dennys in Nashville? Bluesy Bonna ain't bad himself! Satriani's "Cryin" will make you weep! Clapton's blues gives ya goosebumps! How bout their all f'***n great and it boils down to indiv. taste! Out>>
ini adalah cover "Purple Rain" yang paling baik dan bagus. itu bagi saya. tidak bisa di bandingkan dengan yang di cover oleh John Petrucci. semua bagus, semua baik. #Indonesiaguitar
Don't understand the praise this guy gets. Gain on 10, plays the same licks for 6 minutes. Makes tons of mistakes. Millions of RUclips bedroom guitarists who blow him away.
What you don’t understand is that this version he is playing he came up with 30 years ago when he was in his early 20s. He plays among the best of them on RUclips.
@@poljakov13 You misunderstand. I mean his out of tune bends, his missed notes, his general sloppy playing. I don't give a crap if it isn't note for note. It's just amateurish playing.
HE is not World Famous because he makes a lot of mistakes on stage. Never saw a mistake of Joe Satriani or Petrucci, and also, Joe Satriani and Petrucci compositions are way ahead than Neil Zaza.
Debojit Das ...hey bro you sound like a perfectionist person ...don't says this man make mistakes I know the level play of satriani and Steve vay and petrucci.. but Neil zaza plays as best as they bro ...I'm a guitar player And I know the difference....
Debojit Das you're clueless as fuck.. i have ALL g3 dvds and seen satch make plenty of mistakes. PLENTY... ive been playing guitar for going on 20+yrs now and technique/skill wise neil is RIGHT THERE with satch. petruccis picking is flawless u dont see him make mistakes. among the guitar community neil is a hiiiiiighly respected guitar player. you dont know shit.
You may be right about the compositions and technique But he can also play with heart like any good guitar soloist and it's what music and Arts are about first: emotion ;) PS :ANd I play guitar for more than 25years lols
Fantastic 😃🙋🏻♂️🎸🔥🔥🔥🇧🇷❤️
It's all about the melody!
I found this version through Dhalif.. I prefer Petrucci and Dhalif's Version.. there are more emotions on their version.. but Neil Zaza Version is good too I just prefer Petrucci and Dhalif's Version over His..

Yes! He is just awesome and totally under-rated
Neil is undoubtedly great, yes, BUT he is NO Satriani or Petrucci!

I guess, it's just luck, he's not as lucky as those big names in music industry,
But as musician he's on same level with satriani and petricci tho
Mike Hubbard joe so perfect but I never completed listen to one of his song lol
Neil Zaza and Jack Thammarat the Two best versions, i would like to see you guys jamming this song together. Amazing and beaultiful performance.
Go check petrucci version
Far beyond dexterity

Absolutely impeccable and very moving
Awesome x
his guitar is crying and im crying
That dude can do covers like no other!
He has a good melody turnback style...it starts with melody, improvise in between , and come back to melody at the end ! He is my favourite..along with joe in terms of melodious shreds
one of the BEST....
I don't give a fuck if he make mistakes that's the beauty of human nature,
high class!
Best version ive heard so far
los arreglos de esta pieza musical en particular , no son fáciles de ejecutar pero esta interpretacion es excelente.
Keisel ROCKS!!!!
Ahahaahaaaaa, the most beautiful solo!Man,you are so great!!!Play concert in Serbia!
Speechless
Timbre da base da guitarra maravilhoso, muito bom
@KfirOchaion is well worth a watch, as he does an amazing cover of this too.

top of melodic in this world
Very very fat sound! :-) A lot of positive! I like this!

+Victor Neckar Yes he's great, very melodic playing and composition
That guitar tune is just awesome wow
Fucking Awesome!!
up up
yuh
neil zaza도 나이가 드니 살이 찌는구나
I can't find any words to describe this catastrophical performance. He should listen to petruccis version.
bring kfir
I love ur playing but u really need to sing! The full emotion of the song can't b expressed without a vocal, just saying.
clovertwerp the guitar sing itself you just didnt hear it
Lots of mistakes.... Disappointed..
But yeah the melody line ... Great.
what if hes not full copycat and improvises some riffs by his own way with purpose.
Don't understand the praise this guy gets. Gain on 10, plays the same licks for 6 minutes. Makes tons of mistakes. Millions of RUclips bedroom guitarists who blow him away.
When you said this sound is gain on 10 i instantly find out you are clueless ignorant
What if hes goal is not to play 100% as it is written by prince? People dont have rights to play their own way?
Gain on 10 won't sound like this IMO. Lol
What you don’t understand is that this version he is playing he came up with 30 years ago when he was in his early 20s. He plays among the best of them on RUclips.

sucks. from the first note, GAIN on 12... GIMME A BREAK... ZERO TONE... and of course, the guitar face because hes "feeling it"... geezuz
the worst version ever heard!
