Here I use simple American Buttercream using twice as much powdered sugar, by weight, as butter. For example, I use 500g of soft (not melted) butter to 1kg of powdered sugar. I add a splash of water or cream...just a couple of tablespoons, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. I mix on low speed for at least 10 minutes .

Thank you! I’m afraid I don’t know the answer to that. What we call whipped cream in New Zealand is different to whipped cream in some countries. It’s worth a try if it’s think and stable though. Good luck!
