  • I bought a ford mustang gt engine on fb market place, it had low compression, I decided to take it apart to see how bad was the damage and if I could fix it, you'll have to watch it and see what I found, Engine Teardown.

Electrical problem, that’s my guess at 1.40 into the video. More specifically the coils or the distributor. Contact me when I win the 50.000 USD first price for best guess😂

That engine is actually a good one that should have never had any issues. I believe it belonged to an idiot that revved it to some high rpms and did stunts getting those pistons hot. The sludge, too thin an oil used. I am curious to how many miles was on that engine

@@everydayirace Knowing that helps to know what an engine design/type can offer. Had I owned that 4.6 it would be equivalent to new one today at that mileage being I never go above 2500 rpms on mine and thats only for open highway. I never drive aggressive and have always since around 1978 used castrol or quaker state 20 w 50 where I live in Houston Tx. Im sure that engine being out of a 96 mustang was used by some owners that had to show off and burn some rubber and punch the pedal to pass other cars type stuff
