  • My first music video. Hope you like it.
    Movie: 300
Music: Sabaton - Hail to the king
    ANNOUNCMENT:
I do NOT own rights to music or video used to make this clip. All rights belong to they original creators. This is just a tribute to Sabaton and Frank Miller.
    lyrics:
Once we lived in harmony, but it seems so distant now.
Even though it wasn't long ago, were all doomed to plague and death.
Working hard from dawn till dusk.
But that ain't enough for him
Product of unholy love, untrue brother of a king.
Know that you'll fail, now hear us hail
    Your brother that you killed.
Hail to the king that brought peace to us all.
Rise from your grave, hear our call.
We'll not forget that you once saved our land.
Killed by your own brothers hand.
Pure evil and cruelty, the true nature of your soul
Mercy and responsibility, words that you can't understand.
Your quest for total control will only end in your own fall.
We will fight for our freedom, and our right to live.
Do it your way, soon you will pay
    Debts with your own blood.
Stars so bright, dance in the night
Day come soon, hide the moon
Stars so bright dance in the night
Day come soon, killing the moon
Morning breaks it's time to march, to the castle of betrayal.
Bring your sword, wield your armour, we won't take this anymore.
Kill the tyrant he must die, for his falseness and his crimes.
Strike him down, and slay his guards, and his ministers as well.
Done it your way, now you will pay
    Debts with your own blood.
    Cheers,
    Krzyek

What about now? Since you posted that comment, they have released Coat of Arms, Carolus Rex, Heroes, The Last Stand, and Great War, as well as Bismarck, Livgardet, Angels Calling w/ Apocalyptica, and Kingdom Come (Manowar cover)? Assuming you still listen, that is.

Maybe this song talks about king Sanco of Castille, who was murdered by his brother Alfonso of Leon to gain control of both kingdoms. King Alfonso was a harsh king and was jealous of Rodrigo Diaz aka El Cid, he sent the Cid to dangerous missions to get him killed but he always returned alive. In the end Rodrigo was exiled but he found help in the city of Valencia.

King Leonidas...the most famous king Sparta ever had. A magnificent leader and warrior.
He was killed in the Last Stand of the Spartans at Thermopylae (against the Persian Empire).
If you think of this movie as a creation without any background story, you are wrong. The Last Stand was real.

Finland and Germany in WW II: Brothers in arms - and partners in crime. Finland joined forces with Nazi Germany against the Soviet Union. Germany provided Finland with military equipment because Hitler saw the strategic advantage of the Finns' co-operation in an attack on the Soviet Union. From 25 June to 6 July 1940, the Finns fought the largest military battle in Nordic history alongside the Germans, regaining much of the territory they had lost during the Winter War.

Truth to be told mate, Finland only fought with the russians, the german's practically ignored it because they had operation "Barbarosa" underway. Infact, Finland profited by the operation, regaining the grounds they lost during their war with Russia. On the other hand the greeks with a handful of infantry knocked out Italy, the trumpcard of the Axis forces and then withstood a siege from both Italy, Germany, Albania and Bulgaria from two different locations that lasted for a month.

Greece should raise and hate should be gone because they are so great too. Just lately learned of their heroes, spartans.

We could all keep nitpicking, which country became what in the last centuries. And yeah, "300" has nothing to do with history, it's just a mindless, fictional bloodfest, but executed insanely well, I got that :) Yet, I guess we all should keep in mind that ancient Greeks and Romans where the ONES that created foundation for what we referr nowadays as "Western Civilization".

Even before the Roman empire was divided in two, the Eastern Mediterranian was very Greek. The Greek language was the lingua franqua, and the its people were heavily influenced by Greek thinking, philosophy and science. Not to mention that the coastal areas where heavily colonised by Greeks. Greek civilization has dominated in the eastern mediterranian until the 15th century. After the fall of Constantinople, the Greeks who fled to the west were essential in initiating the elightment.

because in ancient greece it was like this.
it is always more efficient when we deal with "couples". Soldiers were more efficient when they had to fight a battle for their "other half", so spartan soldiers always were in "couples". And actually, it was a shame not to fight the battle, if your 'lover' was a soldier.
you read the "symposium" of Platon, he confirms that..

@simon12194 The Spartans were 300 plus 7.000- 2.500 Peloponnesians plus 700 Thespians. At the third day of the battle as the Persians surrounded the Greek forces, King Leonidas gave order to all Greeks to go home only the Thespians and the 80 Phokaens decided to fight with the Spartans. After a hard battle the Thespians given up, the Phokaens were completely annihilated by Persian archers. King Leonidas and his Spartans fought and died not only for their city but for the freedom of Greece!

@PersoAryanism on the battlefield of Marathon (they get there 2000 spartans for help but was too late, came the day after the battle) simply Persia was an empire and like all empires had to show their subjects that their strong and not tolarate rebellions, the invasion to Greece would be inevitable even and if not athens help the ionian rebellion, simply becouse the empire had its momentum and would not stop expanding untill reach his limits of powers like all empires.

@shitbomp Part 1: The movie was more based on the Legend than the story, it did happen but there wasnt 1 million Persains ( Modern estimates put the persain numbers at an average of 200,000 which is still a fuck load against 1000 - 5000 spartans and and other greek city states, ) (estimates vairey widley between scholors of the time and "experts" of today). and the battle didnt exactly happen how the movie portrated it. Te whole historical battle/campain is pretty damn awesome.
