- Get ready for Winter in the Yeeps Snow Biome Update. This new upgrade is packed full of all kinds of interesting features and new "toys" to create and have fun with. It hit's the virtual shelves on Thursday, 2 May 2024.
Here's some of the amazing new features in this update:

The Tech Web, Store, and Dressing Room all go transparent when you place them on you like how the pillows and other blocks work

Nope. You can use them on any map. We were in Wilds 1 yesterday and I'm pretty certain, everything works.
Is this going to be permanent or a timed thing as I don't think I would be able to get everything on the techweb
Permanent afaik. I'd be a little miffed if I got all those gadgets and couldn't use them.

This update sounds awesome, although, I don't like how expensive all of the new items are. I know they're just trying to get people to buy the yeti bundle but 1,200 for the snow gloves? I really hope they lower the prices tomorrow because I have 3,000 and that's nowhere near enough to get everything in the new tech web
The real beauty of this game, is that most of it's free. You don't have to buy anything to eventually get all the gadgets and most of the cosmetics. Patience = Free, Impatience=$. Your option.

The reason why the tech web was invisible was because if you place a block and your inside it, it will turn invisible for you. The tech web works the Same as the blocks and so you have to walk away from it.
I understand, but I'd moved to the side and was still transparent, til I got around behind it. I've thrown these down bunches by now and this is the first one that didn't change solid for me.

To be clear, what blocks can you use in a non snow biome?
I think you can use them all. We were in Wilds 1 tonight, non snow, and I don't think there was anything we couldn't use.

Yes, anything you "buy" is yours to keep once the update goes live.

Did you get it from the Apple App store? If so, did you link it to your quest. Won't work without that.
Yeah it is it’s just blank but I can hear then when I go to into a different lobby it turns on starts to load the will turn pitch black.

How do you record your audio when I try to do it it always glitches
I record my audio using and external mic and combine it with the game audio in obs.

Best estimate is between 3-4K BCs.

Nope, the regular tech web adjusts to the biome its in, so you don't have buy anything new for that. Plus Wilds 3 & 4 will be snow themed after the update, so you could always use a Public World Code and create your own space if you needed it.

So my brother is getting really hooked on yeeps any tips for him
Just have fun with it. This new update has a lot of stuff that's just fun to play with. The snowball, which is the first gadget you have to get, is only 100BC, so you can start experimenting with the "freeze" effect immediately.
I do have one tip that's not in the video. If you use the hot cocoa, reabsorbing the mug, gives you all your stuffing back. Effectively makes it free to use.

When the release drops today, Blue House will be snowed in and Wilds 3 and 4. The fortress is east of Blue House.

No idea if the plaza is getting removed, the winter castle map is just off blue house, so there's no reason to move it.
How many button coins does everything cost on the new tech web
A bunch, I spent $20 and had a batch in reserve also. Now I have 70.

My only complaint is that old items like the pink bush aren’t rare anymore or other blocks
They were only "rare" cause we didn't have the paint. Wasn't meant to be a long term thing.

I'd say that's relative. The snowball is only 100 and its the first item, but you can earn the rest just by doing the daily challenges over a few weeks.

Nope, the update itself is free. The items are just like the regular shop, cost BCs, but you don't have to buy any to eventually get them.
