Peppers Germinating Fireside in April Snow HD 1080p

Homesteading and growing food in a region with a short growing season requires employing methods to extend our growing season. Germinating seeds indoor, fireside is a way to provide the heat seeds need to germinate without using valuable electricity. Snowy spring days in April and frosts reaching into May, sometimes June, I have developed ways to germinate and grow out seedlings without the use of heaters and lights.
Methods evolved over the years, with using upcycled juice containers to replace seedling trays. This not only saves costs, it saves the landfills for a bit longer.
