I've been driving for Pam for a couple months. Love it. Same story actually, I started out making little less than 1500 miles. After about a month they had me drop a trailer at a truck stop for another driver to pick it up. I thought they were firing me. No, my DM call contacted me and said they are putting me on a dedicated run. I get a raise per mile and I'm guaranteed miles. I went from making around $300 to close to $1150
Good for you Jordan. Sometimes we have to wait thru the dark or seemingly dark moments and then the doors open. Yes, Blessed is a great term and keep using it!
Congratulations T.J.!You are a wise young lady.Building relationships and discussing your needs with your D.M. instead of being an entitled rookie. You shall go far.Now that you like trucking, with time it becomes part of you!Trucking is a job/career/profession/lifestyle and an identity!Keep on Truckin'
i just started working for Pam, hopefully starting my mentorship at the beginning of the year. Maybe I'll meet you out on the road or something, you seem really upbeat! looking forward to my adventure
How does it feel being a female in the business, how is it particularly different? What things do you notice that might be good insider tips for me. Im on the fence about joining a job like this.
The school that I went to had a decent amount of women in training, one of my classmate was a woman, and everyone treated them with the utmost respect; she even passed the state driving test on the first try! One of my inspirations was seeing a woman wearing a hijab and driving a truck on the mountains, it was awesome and I waved at her lol. You will have people staring at you all the time when you’re driving a truck ,and you might think that they’re judging you, but I think that they’re just intently looking at you out of admiration. I honestly believe women can do anything a man can do, and many women even outdo the men! Did you ever set forth to trucking?
How is it with a mentor when you first start? Cuz I’m getting into trucking gonna be driving with Pam head to Springfield next week start my train at c1 but I was just wondering after training how is it with the mentor

Yes but it's better to go ahead and have it. Your required 160 hours training before you test out. With a permit puts you coming in at 80 hours. It makes it easier.

This is corporate propaganda. It’s a corporate RUclips channel, but presented as if this video is on this driver’s personal channel.
It never plays out, like it should and now you have a career not a job. Maybe you could become a female trainer
