Great idea! It would look really beautiful to color the wafer paper and then made like a rainbow affect using the same method on the cake with the strips of paper only with different pastel light colors. I’m gonna try it! very pretty.
Amazing cake. I have one question, since it’s wafer paper, can you just simply put it in refrigerator? Won’t it melt due to condensation once we take it out ?
@@RyuAidie Hey dear, I just tried it on my own. Made a similar cake and can tell you that you can save it in your refrigerator. Also you can do a test before assembling your cake. Just prepare your cream ahead one day and dip a piece of wafer paper. Refrigerator it for some time and then take it out to know the results. If your space is not so humid, wafer paper will survive. After that you can safely use it on your cake😊
hi hun, so long as it is in an airtight cake box, you can :) this could mean that you cover the cake box many times over in plastic good wrap to keep any possible moisture from getting in.
hi hun, in an air tight cake box, it can stay as long as it needs to depending on the cake you are creating :) to make your cake storage airtight, pop it into the cake box with the lid on and wrap the box many times over in plastic food wrap.

Amazing as always ❤ May I know the thickness of the wafer you used? In store there are 0.65 mm vs. 0.35 mm.

How many rice paper sheets you used in this cake?
❤❤❤❤
So beautiful! Please what's the name of the machine that was used to.cut the wafer paper. Tnx
It’s a guillotine
😊😊😊
Does the rice paper not melt in contact with the buttercream?
hi hun, not in my experience. But if using fresh cream, then it would likely disintegrate a little
What about placing it in the fridge? Would the condensation ruin the wafer paper?
Can I keep in fridge

How long can this stay in the refrigerator after decorating it with rice paper?
