Mister, and I use that term as a phrase of respect, it's due to people like yourself, and a very small number of others , that keep the light shining. You're serving us now, so you feel. That's not entirely true.
We're the ones, who serve you.
      Keep that in perspective.
V.P. Joe Biden , at the memorial said it very well and said it best ,
" All men , are created equal , and then, only few became firefighters "...
While you're looking out for us, we're looking out for you.
Push Forward. The only way out is up.

Best tribute song to the 19 Granite Hotshots and the Fire Service of men and women who serve around the world.
Listeningto this song reminded me when I was a rookie type 2 fire fighter back in 2013.
The day after the Yarnell tragedy, My crew and I were on the fire near kanab UT, mopping up and rehabbing early in the morning.
over the radios my fire crew were told to put our operations at a halt.
we wonder why, then later we gathered together as a crew wondering why we stopped , Our fire officer who drove for miles to check on us, Came up to all of us.
He informed us of Yarnell tragedy, telling us that the Granite Mountain lost 19 hotshots.
Their very best and brightest, hard workers who loved their jobs.
Hearing this, Our crew got real quiet with our heads down, looking at each other lost for words.
Then our fire officer told us all to take a knee and giving the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots a moment of silence, out of respect we all did.
Of course I'll kneeled down and accidentally kneeled into some hot ash, SMH.
After our moment of silence our fire officer was glad we're all safe and making sure we're working safely as a team, a band of brothers. He started to cry a little bit and wondered what mistakes the Granite Mountain Hotshots made that led them to their tragic deaths.
As too I wondered that, feeling sad for their families.
As years went by, the day finally came, watching the movie that pays tribute to the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots was a powerful experience and it was really hard watching the end of the movie, I cried in front of my girlfriend :(
They did an outstanding job on the movie, seeing the inactment and telling of their story was like I said, A powerful haunting experience.
Not only the movie was base on their bravery but as a band of brothers who lived life together to the very end, sadly and gladly at least one sole surviver will tell of their story.
    Best Movie Best song ever.
God Bless the Fire Service of dragon slayers.

The loss of those 19 men will scar the face of Earth and humanity for millennia to come. Their sacrifice allowed a beautiful town and forest to survive and gave families a chance to spend many days to come in the place they belong. Those men gave everything, they became so close to the point of family. From failing relationships and depression to hero's, legends in fact. Their names written on stone, carved deep into the heart of Earth, and the families of those who fell on that day. On the day those 19 men died, 19 bright stars appeared in the sky.

As a US veteran. I see this kind of love for the fallen heroes and I ask myself if the 58,000 soldiers lives could have been prevented during Vietnam. I love the movie and the song, but no lives are worth losing ever. I think they are heroes. All of them. Could this have been prevented? Yes. RIP

This song is so meaningful for me, I can't even express the effect it has on me. And as I read all the comments here I can't thank enough all the support we get while doing this type of work. I became an aerial firefighter a couple of years ago and will most probably keep doing it till the end. I've been a pilot for over 20 years, worked overseas in war zones, in the poorest countries of this world and all those jobs have been amazing and rewarding, but using my skills to fight fires is the most incredible feeling of all.

I am a Turk, in our belief, those who burn to death are martyrs. In other words, it is a position that we are sure is in heaven. We also survived a major fire last year and suffered many losses. Even as I write this, there are firefighters in 42 parts of my country struggling to extinguish fires under difficult geographical conditions. May all firefighters rest in peace. We are grateful for your services. 🥀🥀🥀

I really say this from CORZON.. Sometimes I don't understand God, believe me when I say it... And I also can't imagine the pain and emptiness that that terrible fire left for all these beautiful families of these heroes... A hug to each of them... Very, very strong... And one minute of Applause... To these great fighters of fire... They will forever be honored wherever they are... People like this should exist and never become extinct...

Fell in love with this movie, ever since i first watched it, this movie hit so deep 😭😭, a brotherhood of Granite Mountain Hotshots, 19 heroes who perished, & 1 survived to be witness to this great legacy left behind, thank u firefighters, the risk u take putting your lives on the line for others, just like the life guards, your service is truly honored, all the families that lost a loved one in this emotional tragedy, God forever keep u strong, for your loved ones live within u always 🙏🏽😭
I listened to this song at the end of the movie, my tears rolled down, so uncontollably, brought painful memories, of my kid bro's death, was murdered about 2 years back, seemed probably medidated, we all make crazy mistakes in our choices, but he didnt deserve such gruesome death, will firever be a deep scar in my parents' hearts, our family, he had so much a head of him, such a brilliant great guy, hurts so much his life was taken that way, be careful of the people u trust, the closest are usually the ones that turn out to be the back stubbers, will forever miss you Oswald 😭😭
Great movie, anyone who puts their life on the line to save another, is a true hero, all the service men/women out there, thanx you so much for being our light at the end of the tunnel, genuine brotherhood/sisterhood, please be careful who you trust, n who you call your true friend, God hid our hearts away from us, dont forget that, only God protects us 🙏🏽🙏🏽
