Austin at his absolute best has to be his solo version of Bring Him Home from Les Miserables. It's on his RUclips channel and it gave me a whole new appreciation for his talent.

Avi Kapplin (from pentatonix) Avi has a awesome bass voice too, HF was on the TV show "Sing Off" If you want to really hear Tim's part and REALLY hear how deep he goes at the end, react to the Sing Off version, of "Ring of Fire" performance 3. I think Tim is actually a octave lower than with the music video. Another song from Sing Off that highlights Tim's bass voice is performance 1. Hope you will do a reactiong to them. (It would be sorta cool if you did a reaction to all the Sing Off HF songs. 😁)

Rob has such a sweet, soulful voice and he slays this. Rob is a vocal chameleon - if you haven't seen his duet with Austin of "Nessun Dorma" (on Austin's channel) - you'll be astonished. In an interview, Austin said he really wanted to show off "opera" Rob but Rob said he wouldn't do it if Austin didn't sing it with him. Austin said he was okay but that Rob was just incredible.
I fell in love with Rob in Home Free's song "Spaceship" (which also has his lovely wife Kelsey and their adorable children).

a capella (Latin), a cappella (Italian)... Honestly I've been guilty of using both. In musical terms the Italian is preferred, but hey if you remember the space after the 'a' and the double l's I'll know what you're aiming for. Predictave text won't even give you a cappella until after you've typed 'a cappel'. I'm more irked when people can't use words like his/ he's correctly. 😊

What's so great about this group is that anyone of them can step into the lead and you get great vocals and when they come together it's more than the sum of the parts. You should check out some of the solo and duet work by Tim and Austin. You'll have a greater appreciation of their talents. And you really need to see the video Rob and Austin did singing Nessun Dorma. You will be blown away by it.
You wanna hear Austin really sing? Check out Home Free's cover of "When a Man Loves a Woman". Austin is out of this world. This song certainly demonstrates that Home Free isn't "just" a country a capella group.

What words to describe Rob's performance here? Spiritual fulfillment, maybe. Emotionally satisfying in every way. Stupifying in allll the best ways, definitely! And just when you think it's the best he can get, two notes later brings an even higher level of OMFG that came out of our teddy tenor bear? Austin is a fantastic singer, but Rob's voice appeals to my ears so much more (happy sighs). I'm not knocking my fellow ginger - like I said, Austin's great - it's just that my ears can be sensitive to certain pitches (Austin's can hurt, but Rob's never does).

I say it's just a masterpiece from the greatest a capella group their is, anyway that's how I feel. . Robs sweet voice really took us to church on this one. Austin with his high vocals showing so much feeling in those lyrics. Tim and Chance had their deep bass moments. Adam with his magnificent vocal percussions pulling it all together. If I remember correctly, I think it was Tim maybe Austin that said they all really wanted to do this and were each going to make a demo of how they would sing the lead . well Rob did his first and the rest were blown away and said it's Rob's and never laid down their own demos. I think that level of trust and appreciation for one another is Awesome.

Chance held down the bass through the whole song. Tim came in occasionally. Austin was great, as usual, but “Gospel Rob” rocks this one!
Chance is sooo underrated. A great ensemble song where he gets to lead off is “One Man Band”.
Chance is also fantastic in Some Girls Do and especially I Can’t Outrun You, which is among their best of 5-part harmonies - the artistry of the video, which was his concept, Will blow you away!
If you want to hear a song that showcases Chance, try “Cover Me Up”. I also like the cover of John Mayer’s “In The Blood”. It really showcases all the their voices.
I love Boyz II Men and have played End of the Road so many times. I never thought I'd ever like a cover of this song. But Home Free did it, while maintaining the respect for the original. How wonderfully sung by all! But for me it is mainly Rob who nailed it. What a great voice with so much soul in it. He touches me deep inside. Of course it is the combination of the other leads, fantastic harmony, bone-feeling bassline and the inhuman vocal percussion that makes it complete.
The best A-Cappella group for me!!

All else agreed but ya gotta know that Chance was the bassist on this one, Tim was the baritone. They do that often.
That's what I thought I was seeing. This ability to switch off gives the group so much flexibility.
The thing with these guys (like Voiceplay and Pentatonix) is, each voice is so dang good that they could individually sing lead in a band of their own, but....they do this instead. And it's glorious!
You should go watch "My Maria" on Austin Brown's channel. Beautiful, and a bit surprising. And then "Nessun Dorma" also on Austin's channel.

They could sing the dictionary and make it a platinum hit. Nothing these ridiculously talented guys can't do. I fell in love with them and their music a year ago and the only thing i regret is not having found them long ago. We Fries feel the same way about them every time we listen to them. It's impossible not to fall in love with them. They are the complete package. Looks, talent, skills, heart, personality, and on top of all that, they are just fun, nice, decent guys. Oh, just you wait. Mayday is going to blow your mind!! I think you are just about ready now that you have their names down. You should check out some originals, Dive Bar Saints, and Catch Me if You Can (another great Rob lead) definitely in that order because of the video tie-in.
Also, one that features Chance a bit more, like Some Girls Do or Cover Me Up.
These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance harmonizing in the back, Tim adding some bass & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. All their songs are good whether it is serious, heart warming or funny. Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men was a judge when Home Free won the "Sing Off" in 2013. He loved the guys from the start.
