Would the handgun case inside the large checked bag be considered two checked bags?
Good question. No, not with the airlines I have used here domestically in the US. Because it is required by the airline and TSA you are not checking two bags as the hard-sided handgun case fits inside the main luggage and is required for transport.
Can you fly with guns? I literally thought you were going to try and fire two at the floor to fly. 😂
