It’s good for the hoomans to put themselves into the alpha position. When that happens, the doggies can’t fight about who’s alpha anymore. They know the hoomans are in charge.
they yelled because they saw that Suki was about to attack not because they were mad at her yes Shiro was good boy and Raya was good girl and so is Suki she is not herself the humans intervene when needed but this may also be something the pack needs to figure out
Just keep Raya away from her puppies she had every right to be protective around them again whomever she chooses, it’s her nature and instinct. Teach Raya those boundaries instead of scolding Suki. Rays is too hyper as it is and needs to learn. It’s exactly that way in a wolf pac and this breed of dog as I understand has wolf in their dna. Order has to be established
@@tommyvercetti891 raya can be a bit too high energy for the dogs and not know boundaries. both can be at fault for different reasons :/ its not an easy situation
@@tommyvercetti891 U couldn't be more wrong. Raya mounting Suki is what caused the fight. Mounting is a sign of dominance. Raya does it to Shiro all the time and has done it to Suki in the past. Now that Suki is in mom protect mode she will not tolerate it. Oliver needs to discipline Raya when she attempts to mount Shiro and Suki.
If Suki gets depressed and suddenly loses appetite, stops producing milk, and stops caring for her pups, e.g, licking and cleaning them - then you’ll be into another set of problems. Suki has constantly taken care of litters all her life except maybe on the first year of her life. You (Hoomans) owe it to her to give her the top priority at this time while she’s still feeding and caring for her 5th litter.
@@stephaniesouth6073 Sometimes yelling like that helps as it shows a bit of seriousness, like how a more alpha dog barks and nips at a subordinate when they establish a pack hierarchy. But I can agree with you that what really helps is territory control in which you physically force a dog to retreat (also a powerful sign of submission).
@@stephaniesouth6073 I think that we're just keyboard warriors. Both of them are great owners and that fact won't change. But my personal opinion is that Raya's behavior isn't bad. She is just ultra friendly, like Kai. Both Shiro as well as Suki need more dog interactions. Both of them are too territorial and they need to understand that the human is the boss, not them. Suki sees herself too much as the middle manager and the boss of Shiro and Raya. A well raised dog will defer to the owner and will always submit. Only the human is allowed to claim territory, toys, food etc. You can see how Suki relaxed after Oliver pushed her back and yelled at her. Since she was claiming Raya's space and attention, being pushed back and told to sit reset her from boss mode to dog mode. She got the message that it's not up to her to decide Raya's role. It's up to the human. The message stuck pretty well as you can see in later videos where she even allows Raya to sniff Kenji. Anxiety in dogs is caused by the human not taking control. Kind of like a workplace where if the manager doesn't take control the workflow falls apart. When the human is dominant, the anxiety disappears because the dog doesn't have to worry about anything because it becomes the leader's responsibility. You never get the dog you want. You get the dog you raise.
@@stephaniesouth6073 By keyboard warrior I mean people who like to comment on a clip as if they know everything from watchin 5 minutes of video. I meant no insult so I apologize if that's what it sounded like. We don't really know what Suki is like. Maybe she has mood swings that are not shown on camera. Maybe she got bit by another female dog as a puppy so now has a hatred of other female dogs that come too close (this is an example, I don't know if it is true or not). Working with dogs is a good experience point but just like humans there may be that one pup who breaks the mold.
Suki hormones and innate instinct are to protect her pups from other fertile females who are (potential) rivals and horny males. wolf mothers keep all pack members away for the 1st month or so, then choose which member can come visit the pups inside the den. Instead of dropping meat at the den entrance.
I'm sorry but we all know this would happen eventually. Bringing Raya, in this stage, in a bonded pack, is a big mistake with this breed. Shiba Inus are known to be very possessive of their family. Since Suki has been Alpha for quite sometime, and having a new litter now, is a big disservice to Raya. This is the reason I was apprehensive when they announced that they wanted to adopt another female dog. We can't fault Suki with what happened since its instinct to be defensive when they feel threatened.
Shibes are like cats. They do want that want regardless of what they are told. Big problem is the humans are not in control. You can see it in everything they do from Shiro getting aggressive when you try to pick him up to the dogs simply ignoring the humans commands 90% of the time. The dogs need training. Not that they need to be circus dogs but they must learn to respond to basic commands.
Raya has been there long enough for Suki to realize Raya isn't her enemy Raya even was there for her during one of her anxiety attacks. Raya is older now and doesn't allow Suki to dominate over her anymore but she's still the same Raya that loved to give her kisses and small bites.
@@Jassiij27 Socializing a dog, especially a territorial dog, takes time. Raya's "kisses and small bites" can be interpreted as a dominant action by a hormonal/instinct driven dog like Suki. Most especially when Raya tried jump on Suki on the previous video.
Raya is not afraid of Suki. Any respectful dog would be very careful going near another bitch's pups, but not Raya. I've literally never seen a dog do that. Raya should be respectful of Suki's space around her pups. I'm shocked Suki didn't attack her for that. I wish you well, but it will be a hard road.
Dancing Do you know why Suki didn't attack? Because she was corrected by Hooman thus she was sitting peaceful. If you notice dear Hoomen corrected Raya immediately they brought her out of the cage and closed it . Raya went there not to harm the pups she's just curious because of the age. If Suki git corrected Raya is next
raya is still very young and has no idea about puppies and boundaries around them. personally i would have gotten Raya after the puppies were gone and Suki is finished whelping..far too many dogs in one space..Suki wants to be leader and is trying to reestablish her role and tries to put Raya in her place..very stressful for Suki..
But they rarely raise their voice at Raya even when she was clearly in bad behavior, like mounting both Shiro and Suki and biting them in the face. This is the reason why Raya is out of control because she could away with anything but poor Suki got all the blames.
It's not even Rayas fault it's sukis now because you saw how suki was just following raya and wouldn't leave her alone and raya didn't do anything at fridt it was about the puppies but not she's just doing this for no reason now
I have said pretty much the same in 2 other posts but they are just not understanding. Huge mistake to have Raya there but no let's yell at Suki as though it is her fault. Poor dog will end up with a nervous breakdown.
I also think that Suki needs a safe place for herself and the puppies , which is only for them alone. Later Raya and Shiro could be introduced BUT only if Suki wants it. I still believe Raya would not hurt her small playmates , BUT Sukis needs should be put first . Otherweise it could happen that she does not produce milk any longer and gets weak and depressed . Shiro should be allowed access slowly to strengthen their bond . I am not a dog consultant though.
Please do this. I love when Suki is in her home & in chsrge...just like y'all taught her to be. But if Raya is home (and I love her too) then please get Suki & babies in a PRIVATE area! They need the peace to grow! At this point we are all upset & we feel we know your family. All three of them need professional training as do both of y'all. But for just 6 weeks please give Suki privacy for raising her babies. Y'all have a lot of information/knowledge about the breed but not so much about the spirit that any animal has. Y'all taught them to be this way! You can't change it instantly. Give her privacy & calmness & let her take care of her babies. When babies are gone you can decide your next step & it may be that you will rehome Suki because you've gone from pet lover to a breeder. But don't please, keep mistreating her. If you had never disciplined a child do you think at 25 you could suddenly change all the rules? Suki is doing what Suki does ramped up by another pregnancy, a dead baby, two hungry beautiful babies & her replacement pushing her out!
I don’t understand why Raya was returned so soon? Suki need’s peace and to remain calm to produce good milk. This stress is also going into her milk 👉🏼Cortisol Hormones. This Is Not Healthy for the nursing puppies. This introduction back into the home could have been done After Suki was nursing the puppies. This introduction was waaay to soon. Now Suki’s being punished for following her instincts. It better there just be Suki and Shiro. He was also tense. The quivering of his neck while sitting was proof. Too much stress and tension for nursing mom, not healthy for her Or the puppies. I just don’t understand Why Raya is there with two older mature mates? Yeah I get that Raya needs to be trained to be a tad bit calmer bud Suki NEEDS to be trained because of her very bad temper. Raya in the cage, and looking in from the side is not going help the situation how many times are you going to yell at suki for been protecting her babies.
i agree with the cage thing. i think there should be some vision blockage for that issue. the aggressiveness is not her protecting her puppies. this was shown in their last video when they met outside on equal territory with no puppies to guard. and discipline is necessary when your dog does not listen to you and continues to do it
@@IStratz The problem is animals have much better sense of smell and Suki could probably smell Raya nearby even if she couldn't see her. That might just cause more stress.

Am I the only one who finds some of the comments and the last couple of videos along with this one to be disturbing? It’s really troubling to see hand fulls of people cheering any negativity that happens to Suki even though a lot of times Raya is at fault? Especially to this extreme that has been shown in the video, what happen to Suki was not discipline, her getting physically treated so roughly by her owners. That’s the type a thing that will turn an animal aggressive and anxiety issues. It also seems that the owners don’t like Suki anymore, it’s like as soon as they got Raya, Suki’s owners have become gradually more distant with Suki or at least that how it comes off. Raya has a lot of issues as well , that need correcting. That’s not saying she’s a bad dog, she has some cute personality traits, but Raya does need to have her aggressive traits worked on and treated equally to the other two. Suki needs more of a positive reinforcement to show she’s still love to make her feel like she doesn’t need to compete. In the end I feel like there might be something going on behind the scenes, though I don’t know if it’s because this channel is starting to get / appears to be more concerning or if it’s just perception.
No, you are absolutely right. I fear Suki is of less value to them since this is supposedly her last litter. I am afraid a scenario is being created that poor Suki is just too difficult and they will have to get rid of her after the puppies are gone so Shiro and Raya can get on with making them more puppies to sell. Some people really seem to enjoy that Suki was hit, all in the name of discipline. I feel like a Twilight mentality is being created and we are supposed to be Team Suki or Team Raya only most people seem to be Team Raya.
It is disturbing that some feel Suki never does anything wrong and that it is always Rayas fault as well. Suki has been propped up as this "queen" and it has gone to viewer's heads as well as Sukis. So now that Oliver and hoomen #2 are disciplining Suki because she has been a bully towards Raya it is suddenly disturbing? I don't see it.
Agree with you. I've been sensing the dislike for Suki by the owners & some of the commenters for some time. From the beginning, the coddling of raya's negative behavior & the mixed messages given to both Suki/Shiro because it looks cute for the camera.
Hitting a dog isn’t disciplining, raising the voice would have been enough or there’s others methods that actually work that won’t result in a dog becoming more aggressive. Hitting a dog, will in time make them more aggressive. Before Raya, Suki was a very social dog who exhibited no aggression to other dogs. Before Raya something in Suki changed when the litter before this one was given away. When Raya was brought in the picture it seemed whatever is going on has amplified. That’s not blaming Raya. However, this Whole Suki lovers this and Raya lovers that is silly. Majority of the people who are deemed Suki lovers are actually more concerned and have been even before Raya. I have never seen, imo the amount of cheering that’s placed when something negative happens to Suki is not the same the other way around. Raya has done wrong , that’s not saying Suki is always innocent, I have seen where both have bullied each other or one or the other, it’s not a one way street. My whole point is that I am find some of the videos before the rehome, and the ones from the mini separation time to the video where Suki gets hit to be disturbing for various reasons. If you don’t see it, that’s cool, you’re entitled to your opinion and we can agree to disagree.
You need to teach Raya to give space to Suki's puppies until the relationship is better. Just like you disciplined Suki for making a tense situation, Raya needs to be disciplined the same for going into the cage like that.
@@PallaviRaghupatruni It's not even about yelling. It's about discipline. When Suki gets disciplined and the owners then turn to praise Raya and Shiro, this does nothing to solve the tension dynamic. @@Jassiij27 You describing what I already watched doesn't convince me of anything. Disciplining one and praising the other in succession(which is what happened in this video) only makes the tension dynamic worse. WHO CARES ABOUT FAIRNESS?
It's Raya who needs the discipline & structure to calm down right now, more than Suki. They're working against an already anxious dog's natural mothering instincts. This really concerns me.
Exactly and it's not like this is Suki's first litter, she knows how to behave, she lets Kiki and Shiro near the puppies. There's a reason she isn't letting Raya near the puppies and if you can't see tha, then you're putting all of them in danger.
You have to understand the hormones of a new mother! If she is not happy around Raya, then let it be! You can't be shouting at her and forcing her to adjust with Raya. Do give her another 4 weeks or so, once the prolactin goes down in her blood, she will be back to her self!
Suki's always been like this towards Raya even when Raya was a puppy and would lay on her back to show she's submissive. Now that Raya is older she isn't allowing Suki to keep acting this way towards her.
@@britt210 I have to disagree this is something that the Hoomans should handle. It has come to a point where the two females resolve their problems by fighting. This isn't the wild they are domesticated pets they might end of severely hurting each other over dominance.

I don’t think Suki should be the one to gets in trouble while Raya is the the that gets on Suki’s nerves as always. I truly think that you two favor Raya way too much, cause you not longer think Suki value is there anymore. That’s very sad.
I don't think they are favouring raya. They did send raya away .they should have waited a bit longer maybe.also if raya attacked suki they would tell her off too
raya was avoiding suki in this video you can tell. suki was challenging rayas space so thats why they disciplined suki. I agree though when they just recently met again, raya did push the boundries and tried to put herself ontop of suki.
You cant let her attack anymore. Would you move Raya or put her permanently to someone else when she has family here only because Suki is attacking her? You must show Suki that Hooman is Alpha and he decides who will be moved. So they have to obey. When you lose the Alpha position. The dogs will thibk they are higher than you and they will do whatever they want. Its same with children.
This has nothing to do with the puppies as they aren't around them. Suki is trying to exert her authority. Raya is protecting herself which is appropriate. Suki in other videos bosses other dogs too when they went to dog parks...so this isn't unusual for her character. She needs training.
@@cimpit5395 Suki was there first and it is obviously NOT working. Yes, absolutely get Raya a new family and stop making her a third wheel in an older couple's relationship.
I don’t think the addition of Raya was a good thing for Suki. Suki is prone to panic attacks and the addition of a super active puppy, on top of one final pregnancy, was not a good idea. Suki isn’t the naughty one here, Raya is. The humping thing, putting her chin overtop Suki’s back the day the humans were bitten breaking them up, those are all signs of dominance. Even when she squints her eyes at Suki, her tail remains upright and her body posture is stiff. Some serious obedience training is in order for all involved, including the humans. There’s far too much anthropomorphizing and projecting of human reasoning onto the dogs. Time to start thinking like dogs think, instead of the way humans think, to resolve these issues so that peace can reign in the house once more.
Is it necessary to give Suki so much stress when she actually needs rest and quiet to nurse the puppies? I was a huge fan of the channel but scolding Suki for her instincts is just awful. I think hoomans are making a huge mistake here.
Suki is the aggressive one in this situation. They can’t allow her to attack Raya ? What else are they going to do ? Besides separate them but then there is no progress. Raya can’t stay away forever. Many families have more than one female dog. It’s very possible. It takes time and patience
@@ashleyyy1 Raised them to sell them. They let the first puppy of this litter die when if is very possible it could have been saved but it wouldn't have been so marketable.
I feel bad for Suki because she was instinctively protecting her puppies, as any new mother dog would. Suki may be a little tense, but Raya needs to be taught how to respect boundaries as well. It works in both directions. Suki is an excellent mother! Raya is a sweet puppy, but her antics make Suki anxious. I pray all works out.
How can you blame Raya? Suki did this to herself. In this video Raya tried walking away here but Suki followed her. Before Raya was temporally re-homed Suki was licking Raya's private part and Raya didn't like it so she tried to leave but Suki kept doing it that's when Raya kicked her but she still didn't leave Raya alone. In another video Raya was eating food from Hooman #2 when Suki walked over from across the room into Raya's space. All Raya did was sniff her then she left Suki alone but Suki started a fight with her. Raya isn't the problem it's mainly Suki now she's invading Raya's boundaries. Raya has been trying to stay away from Suki and has been playing with Shiro more but Suki comes in and bothers her. Even in the video she was about to growl at Suki but then Hooman #1 told Suki to stop. I hope they work it out too because they are family and family shouldn't be enemies.
@@Jassiij27 I never once blamed Raya for anything. I stated that Raya should be taught to respect boundaries because it is not appropriate for her to be allowed to be around Suki’s puppies right now, especially given Suki's anxiety. That, in my opinion, is clearly not in the best interests of the puppies. Whatever they did before the puppies arrived, the fact remains that Suki is now the mother of puppies, and she deserves respect. I'm optimistic that things will improve in the future, but patience is required. Nature has a way of working things out.

Raya is showing extremely submissive behavior, pretty typical for this breed. Shiro also shows pretty typical agression for Shibs. Suki has unusually high anxiety, since that's the unusual behavior, it's best to establish that you're the alpha and that the behavior is unacceptable, especially to such a submissive female. Every breed is different.
I have seen this in Shibas with puppies. My dog and my mother's dog were due a week apart. They both had some serious scuffles with eachother. It took a couple weeks before they calmed down and then they shared parenting the puppies. At a certain point, it was hard to get one not to pawn the pups off on the other, since they both wanted a break, but they did coexist. It just takes a firm hand and the human to establish that they are the one in charge.
Exactly! My Shiba is not spayed yet And she does not live with another Shiba but she lives with a smaller dog which she has taken chunks out of. I was irresponsible and I let the pomchi get away with back talking her. Even though he is neutered, he is still very dominant as well. A trip to the emergency room for him having almost lost his eye caused me to be extremely hard on myself. Because I have raised dogs and I knew better and I got relaxed in training. Thank goodness The surgeon only had to clip off a lower part of his eyelid and nothing was wrong with his eye at all which the Shiba almost took. It wasn't just her. I had to reprimand but it was also him. From that night when he got home I HAD to get more firm. Any sign of fighting or aggression I nipped that in the bud right away in both of them. Usually when I have dogs they're the same size and they quickly work out their issues. But the truth is injuries can still happen and as the leader of the pack, it is our job to give them order. I've seen other pack leaders break up fights as well. There is usually zero tolerance for beatdowns unless they allow it. I felt so ashamed having known better and did not do better. But today, ever since that night of me putting my foot down, NO aggression whatsoever at least from the Shiba. I used to do the, "no no!" And that clearly was not working. What works for my Pomeranian or the Rottie or other dogs doesn't work for the Shiba. Now my pomchi and Shiba are brother and sister again. And I have had no aggression issues. Dogs are pack animals even though we have domesticated them, they still have majority percent of that wolf instinct to have social hierarchy as most social animals do. Usually when you put your foot down and you give a very quick and firm correction, that is enough to let them get the message right away that you will not tolerate them hurting other pack members. I can tell you're an owner who knows what you're doing because you got your dogs to settle down and coexist because they respected you as their mama/papa. That's really what it boils down to. 😃
@@Alteori i just had my oldest Shiba's two half sisters in my house for a week. There was some contention, even though both fixed, until I spoke. Then the aggressor's ears went back, tail went down and she realized that the human who raised her at birth was still in charge. That resolved the issue.
@@halcarmody2946 yup!! That's how it should be. More than 99% of dog issues I have seen with this breed are bc the owners do not know how to discipline their animals.
Don’t get mad at Suki she doesn’t mean too it’s her instincts she doesn’t trust Raya around her pups the only people/animals she trust are well you two,Shiro and Kiki since she knew all of you longer then Raya
Maybe you missed a video, but its not just around the pups.. they re-introduced them outside, away from shiro and the pups and suki attacked then too.. At this point, Oliver HAS to show suki that he is the pack leader, or else co-habitation between 2 potentially dominant females will not work out.
We get that she has her instincts but you must understand that dogs need discipline and Suki was not listening to many warrnings that were said calmly so he had to yell.
Oliver, Raya needs to be told no when she goes to check out Siki's puppies. It'll might only take a couple of times before she gets it. Maybe Suki will settle down as well. It might seem like I'm dunking on you, but I feel like your babies are my babies it's a really good start. 😍👍
I’m sure they’ll try to keep her away from the pups for a bit, and gradually introduce her to them. Raya is just super curious cuz she’s never seen puppies before. And yer not dunking, we’re all part of the family ;p
It’s probably hard to catch on video, but even then Raya’s body language and snap was a reaction to Suki’s. It’s subtle but her approach towards Rays was aggressive and confrontational, not friendly. No tail wagging, she stands straight up and right in Raya face showing no interest in sniffing her, and we can’t hear it but I’m willing to bet she had a low growl going on too.
Oliver, im glad you're stepping in and defusing the situation between the girls, however, it's not really Suki's fault that she's in protective mode of another dominant female.
Raya is not dominate at all. Everything she does is subordinate. She stays still, she puts her ears down, she didn't growl. It was Suki. I understand Suki is protecting her home & potats but sometimes Alphas go too far & its not about protection its about bad behavior. My female Shiba was the same way until she was socialized on a regular basis & learned her behavior was unacceptable
@@amberc.2137 Yeah, but it's not Suki's fault that she got pregnant on the account of entertainment and views. Also, Raya needs to learn boundaries and give Suki her space. @@charongilchrist9305 she needs to be fixed, de-sexed, spayed, whatever you want to call it. He hormones & confusion of where she stands in the pack in sure leads to those behaviors. I don't think she's dominant though. I think she needs behavioral training & given a role in the group.
@@amberc.2137 I respect your opinion. All of that should have been done before the owners decided to get Suki pregnant. However, Raya plays a big part in the confusion and tension here.
@@amberc.2137 I agree she needs to be spade. Simply because she's had enough litters. If I remember correctly, Oliver said the last litter was going to be the end of her having any more puppies. Anyone else remember that?
That's not fair to shout at just Suki! Raya needs to be equally put in her place too. Your causing a HUGE rift by doing that and somehow you don't seem to get it. You need to either search how to handle the situation or seek some outside help with a professional because it's only going to get worse.
You still dont understand. If he will not shout, she will possibly attack Raya. Dont you see that he is hurt from their fights? Would you moved Raya permanently away from her family only because of Suki?
Yes. I would. Most people would. It would be hard if I had to do that with my own dogs of course, but I’d rather separate them permanently for the better than have them live together in constant misery.
@@cimpit5395 I understand perfectly thank you. I'm just saying he needs to discipline equally! Raya was all up in Sukis business too when he yelled at her. Raya is the one that's been starting the attacks. Why don't you see that? I've been around dogs all my life, so I know what's up. It's silly to just think they are automatically going to mesh together when clearly there's issues. I've seen younger dogs brought into packs and attack the older dogs because of their natural order of taking over the alpha. The tension from it all is affecting ALL of them. And yeah they got hurt, but it was foolish to put them together like that after so many issues. Mistakes were made, it's life. They are going to have to hawk over both of them due to these issues, unless they keep them separated.
@@karlak9703 You are really a less intelligent one. You just simp. The Raya was brought there to continue the Shiros bloodline and to continue to raise pupies when suki is not able anymore. Suki can show Raya how to properly care for the puppies and can be a good teacher. But they must get along.
So does mine! I've watched 2 years now. I love Suki...gave me peace & calmness watching her raise Mashu & Yuri! Fell in love with the chanell. I understand that it's an entertainment show & they are making money but still the animals didn't seem abused & they loved Oliver & H2 & I was happy watching the show. Wasn't happy when they bought Raya to be next breed dog but overall it went well & eventually I loved funny, happy playful Raya also. Suki & Raya became friendly & Suki retained her Queen alpha status. Then they decide to have Suki have a fifth litter & the channel changed. None of the animals do much more than respond to their names & that's only if they want to come! But with Suki's pregnancy & her anxiety/panic problems, her hormonal changes & the way they knew she responded to her babies....they allow even encourage Raya to test Suki for that alpha position. And Suki is pregnant for the fifth time! Suki delivered a dying puppy & Oliver & H2 carried it around to the bowl, to the whelping box, to the desk & then for some unknown reason they lay it on the bed & allow Raya to sniff, to lick & to play with the little dying puppy & the channel has gone evil ever since! I can't stop begging them to do right by all the dogs. Separate Suki & her babies away from any sight of Raya. Let Raya have the house. Put Suki & babies in a bright room maybe with Kiki...they are good together & just allow Suki to raise her babies. Oliver & H2...don't you owe her 4-5 weeks? She's paid her way there. When you sell the babies sell Suki...your problem is solved. For the next 5 years you can have Raya & Shiro popping out babies...heck, if you buy another female & get some training for all three you can have babies all the time. But love Suki enough to let her finish this process of raising her babies. And try petting her like you did before...grab that beautiful face & rain kisses on her like you did before. You didn't seem like bad men but maybe you always felt that way about the animals cause y'all did a 180 turn in 12 hours!
It's sad to say, but the house seemed so chilled without Raya there. If I was Suki I know which one I'd prefer. Maybe it's time to move to a bigger apartment. Especially if it's still the plan is to have Raya and Shiro mate
Suki and Shiro are older dogs very familiar with each other -- dogs are creatures of habit and generally don't like it when something disrupts the routine. A young dog throws that balance off for awhile but it isn't permanent. Suki's response, to a point, is normal, but attacking Raya is not and that's when human intervention is important.
@@jennyhobbs7556 No worries! I'm not a dog, either, but I have helped raise a Shiba Inu and he hates it when his schedule gets thrown off. It stresses them out and as they get older they become set in a routine.
I completely agree I think that they are definitely starting to set the tone and boundaries with all the dogs. I just finished watching a live stream and they set the tone with both Raya and Suki. I do think that they should get a trainer or behaviorist for dogs of this particular breed so that everyone can feel comfortable and safe. I’ve only had black labs so I am unfamiliar with this breed but I can tell by Suki‘s body language that she is uncomfortable and that is creating tension with Raya.
The real question is why have another litter, when they already knew Suki would go into overprotection mode? Also in the recent months Suki and Raya had been going at it even without the pregnancy.
I understand that Oliver needed to raise his voice at Suki to get her to calm down. But shouldn’t he and Hooman #2 be doing the same with Raya? She’s still a pup and quite wilful in my opinion, like when she went in by the gate to see the pups and didn’t listen till Hooman #2 literally closed the gate and barred access. I get that she’s curious, but Suki is just being a protective mama dog.
They do shout at her but more so at Suki as she’s the adult. Raya is only a few months old which makes her a young child in human yeas whereas Suki is middle aged woman. It’s unreasonable to not be more angry towards the adult and more educating towards the child.
Raya also needs correction. She was subtly challenging suki. You must teach raya to stay away from potats. If suki does it it will mean another fight. Everytime you correct suki, correct raya.
How anxious I am about this video. First you force Suki to have to share space with another animal that, as much as it hurts people, is a threat to Suki's children. You frighten her in the bed and the worst of all has been to see how Raya more than once enters the cage approaching her offspring and you just tell her "No raya" very softly or you take her. If I have felt anguish and anger watching Raya trying to get close to the puppies, I can't imagine what Suki must have felt. Horrible everything
@@AHeadlessChicken2008 Oh yes sorry! Just curious! Nothing more! How dramatic I am! Poor Raya, she just wants to invade a space she's not welcome in, but how can she stay away? She's been doing what she wants for almost a year now since her owners have spoiled her in everything and encouraged her hyperactivity. They couldn't put Suki and her crias in a separate room, of course not. They have to be both sharing the same room now and with the 24 hours a day vigilance that Raya does not come near. When Suki's stress causes a blockage of milk production, we will worry more about the mother's mental state. For the time being, we will continue to pamper the little princess Raya.
There is no way that it could have been spoken any better. I am not enjoying these videos. I feel something terrible is going to happen! So sad for Suki! And I love Raya but the situation is too bad! Praying you won't lose the potats or have to put down any dog but you are setting up an accident about to explode!
This nigga stupid dem ones there you see tat suki wants to fight raya is a young pup ears are down and suki ready to fight dem ones there look at it carefully raya was gone for a week or so because of Suki’s so called “depression” wanting to fight when raya comes back she get love and affection it’s not like suki doesn’t gets love and affection they’re all treated equally if suki attacks raya Cah we know what suki is like it would lead to more problems between the 2 the human are so suki doesn’t fight because raya is still a young pup she wants to play not fight suki wants to fight that’s why she got shouted at very simple
Final word. For the people that will be getting the pups know that Suki has always produced best behaved pups but this litter may have some issues cause Mum is not settled and pups will pick it up. If you are paying for potats, you have a say in raising them. Raya will bite them. Keeping Suki away so Raya can see them is not a good thing in any world.
The pups will have to learn how to get along with other non-related doggos. Asami and Kenji's forever homes may already have a resident dog. But I personally wouldn't let Raya get close, just in case. Maybe Oliver can carry the puppies, one at a time, to show and let Raya sniff them, like he did for Shiro. Suki SHOULD be ok with that, as the hooman is in control, holding the puppy.
How would you feel as a mother having to stay away from your pups so someone with behaviour and other issues can see them. The stress on the mum and pups. Suki trains her pups to meet any situation but she has never been in a situation where she is afraid for her pups. I predicted this situation and dven if Raya gets pups her litter will have behaviour issues as it starts from the mother.
@@young-atheart OMG, you are not an ''oracle'' and did not predict anything, many saw that coming... Too soon to ''predict'' anything for Raya's puppies at this point. Raya just needs some training, that's all, don't exaggerate her ''issues'', it can all be dealt with.
I feel bad for Suki. It’s not easy for her. I understand she has to adjust but I still feel bad for her. I know this is causing the hoomans a lot of stress too. It’s not easy
i think it's ok for suki, because i think suki can sometimes be very vicious, but maybe shouting not best way to discipline her. you can raise your tone at her and maintain eye contact with her, so she gets intimidated and threatened, and that can replace shouting or smacking.
Your squeaky high pitch voice excites Raya, which in return, Sukie doesn't like. Most alpha's will put an excited dog in their place. Meanwhile, Sukie has puppies, which Raya is an outside member, not Sukie's daughter, more of a threat. Combine all that and voila.
Now this is just cruelty....you have a dominant pair with puppies...another female or male in the situation will cause problems..Suki is doing what any normal dominant mom should do..even when I had two SPAYED females I knew the first female had to be reassured she was boss..and then there was peace...keep Raya away from Suki.. It's very stressful for Suki...
this was bound to happen as the whole point of raya is to replace suki as their breeding dog. in about 4 years raya will be devoid of all her spirit most likely treated the same way and exhibiting the same behaviors suki is now
Yes agree, hoomans have to show they are the masters and have control. 👊🏻 do not show fear or anxiety, animals sense and smell it a mile away. But Again this is not suki fault but animal instinct. Raya needs discipline too. After all shibas are Japanese dogs just like chow chows and spitz they have a tendency to fight.
@@jagoldenpyrenees491 Is she? Have you see her mounting and nipping the nephew? Jumping all over humans? Absolute no boundaries annoying Shiro and Suki? Imagine a 5 year jumping around like Raya near your newborn, do you understand Suki's state of mind?
@@jsc22 At least in this video, she is indeed being very submissive to Suki by pinning her ears back and trying to make herself "small." Jumping on her is a very "puppyish" behavior that most mature dogs know means "I'm just a baby, please don't hurt me." I've literally lived my entire life in close contact with multiple dogs. @@jsc22 Bitches fight worse than dogs. They didn't necessarily do anything wrong (possibly apart from purchasing another female when Suki has so much time left, but it's unlikely that they knew it would come to this). If two females are going to become rivals, there's not much of anything anyone can do and once they both start engaging with each other, it's best to permanently separate them. They can sometimes be reintegrated but it's best to keep them separate until one or both are older and don't want to fight anymore.
In the beginning when Raya came, you always scolded Suki when she tried to teach her dog manners and encouraged Raya behavior and continued doing so . Now you scolding Suki again for doing what her instincts telling her to do - protect her puppies. Raya not even once got corrected the way you do with Suki. This is the typical ( even with humans kids) ill scold the older one because the young one is cute. If i member correctly even the vet pointed at Raya biting habits when he visited once a while back, which never got addressed. She needs to be trained now while still a young ( yes young adult , not a puppy anymore) or her actions will lead to even bigger problems in future . What will happen if she try to act this way with another dog outside ?The way Raya watched the puppies at the end is more like she thinks of them as pray or toys . All those comments from people who watch your videos are not trying to tell you how to rise your dogs , but we do see things from an outside view , which you may not. Is really good idea to bring dog expert and he to tell what he thinks of the situation , before you let Raya get more close to the pups.
I honestly think you 1.) corrected the wrong dog as Suki is just trying to be a mom and protect her pups. Raya is the dog who should have been corrected for crossing lines. She should not be allowed near the pups unless Suki wants her to, it is your job as the humans to make sure that these boundaries are met. 2.) over corrected suki. She was basically forced to go through a 5th pregnancy that she shouldn’t have gone through, vet said stop at 4. And you not only yelled at her but handled her very roughly. SHE JUST HAD PUPPIES. That is not okay. If you won’t consider getting a trainer for your pets safety and your own, maybe you should consider rehoming all of your pets so they will receive the care they deserve.
Poor Suki. I am sure it will be a very happy family for Suki if you are keeping one of her puppy for her instead of bringing in Raya and keep getting her preggy and then sending off all the puppies. Suki feels insecure with Raya..and she deserve to feel safe while having her puppies still around.. poor thing to see her being scolded because of being protective. She has contributed alot. Love her.
Why did you yell at Suki? She feels threatened because of the presence of another female when she just gave birth. Why cant you keep Raya away until the puppies have gone to their new family? Suki might go into distress if Raya keeps being there and taunts her. After she gave you so many puppies im so sad that she is being treated this way.
@@cuttingmaster5085 all their dogs have aggression issues, Suki is crabby and snaps at other dogs, Raya bounces around in everyone’s face ignoring all boundaries and nipping at other dogs, and Shiro can’t even show his face in public with other dogs because they know he’ll be aggressive. He's just wondering why Suki is behaving in the manner she is like a "queen B" once put in her place by the owners she surely got a rule of wakening to stop it. as we see here in the video. She was controlling the environment that's what Suki was doing.
Why would you put this tension back to Suki! Raya is running around her babies. You have no right to put her in that position. What do you expect!!! Keep Raya away from her babies. You dnt yell at a mother for doing what a mother does! Horrible decision. She went from calm to a level 100. It unhealthy for Suki to do that to her.
Oliver did not control the situation, he lost control of himself. If his hand hurts he should see a doctor, not hit his dog. Mothers of young puppies are known to be protective. Suki is know to suffer from anxiety, something he lied to the vet about in the pre-mating check up. Reputable breeders keep the mothers away from the rest of the pack until they become calmer and more relaxed, a stage Suki has not reached yet. A stressed mother is not good for the puppies. It is a known fact that sometimes a mother may kill her own puppies if anxious. Suki may lose her milk and the puppies would have to be hand raised. The owner seems to ignore all this. He also seems to ignore a lot of the good advice he has received from followers. People say that Raya is not a threat to the puppies. I presume they did not see the clip where she was biting at Kiki and pulling out her fur. She also bit Oliver's nephews clothes. I am not saying that Raya is a bad dog. She is a very lively, untrained dog. She seems to be poor at reading other dogs eg by doing the mouthwash thing or getting in other dogs faces. This may have been caused by lack of socialisation with adult dogs. Suki sees her as threat even if this is not the reality of the situation. People will believe what they want to believe but, in my opinion, Oliver is not putting the welfare of Suki and her puppies first at the moment.
Why bring Raya back now? Just adding stress to Suki. This is not to way. It would be a little better, if Suki and her pup would have their own space. This is not good at all...

@@Li_kettu If you think 0:57 shows an unhappy dog, you have no understanding of dogs whatsoever.
Exactly.

Please do this. I love when Suki is in her home & in chsrge...just like y'all taught her to be. But if Raya is home (and I love her too) then please get Suki & babies in a PRIVATE area!
I am afraid a scenario is being created that poor Suki is just too difficult
and they will have to get rid of her after the puppies are gone so Shiro and Raya can get on with making them more puppies to sell. Some people really seem to enjoy that
Suki was hit, all in the name of discipline. I feel like a Twilight mentality is being created and we are supposed to be Team Suki or Team Raya only most people seem to be
Team Raya.

Very good observation!

@@Daniel-kp8mj the Hoomans are trying to teach Suki she cannot go around behaving like this towards Raya or other Shibas for that matter. Just like how people say they should discipline Raya on boundaries which she has learned by not going near Suki they should teach Suki on how to behave with others.
@@Jassiij27 they need raya to produce puppies after the humans retire suki. they brought raya into the home, they raised suki. this is human error and greed. animal abuse
No animal is to blame, it is the owners who put them in that situation. First forcing two female dogs ( one senior, and one young) to live together, and insisting on the pregnancy of one of them. This show that the important thing is the money from the videos and the money from selling the puppies , not animal welfare, no matter how many kisses you give them.
You nail it. Breeders. Stud can many bitches. But the bitches can only have one stud.

I was a big fan but I knew it's risky bringing another female into the ShiroSuki mix.. Seeing what is happening isn't a surprise to me. However, my heart broke for Suki. Hoomans have imposed enormous stress on Suki. I can't follow anymore, you support one side over the other and it's not just unfair it's tragedy waiting to happen. I pray for safety of all but above Suki and potats as they need most care and protection at the moment.
Stop being so dramatic. The owners know whats best for them.
Even my heart can’t handle this tense situation. I hope things improve.
The owners love all of their dogs suki is just a protective mother..
Agree with you.. really sad to see how Suki being treated. Imagine how many rounds she's been giving birth..no sense of security for her with Raya around. That is the minimum the hooman can do to make them feel safe during this post pregnancy stressful period.
I just think that you cant let Suki to attack or make you to permanently move a dog away from their family only because other dog wants to.
I think its bad.
Bringing them together does not seem to be a good idea. With the little ones around they will have to keep a close watch on both Suki and Raya.

They locked the door after. Immediately addressed the situation.
@@SoufAsia619 did they address it with Raya though the way they did with Suki?
If you correct one dog out of a behaviour, but not the other...what does that say?
It's not so fun in games when you know the truth on what he's doing..

Suki did nothing wrong, lol. Putting your hands on her made this even harder to watch.
She did she was trying to intimidate Raya..and thus was very well done this should have been done earlier and Raya should have never left home
Suki did not attack Rays, in the park there was Rays that attack first
It’s probably hard to catch on video, but even then Raya’s body language and snap was a reaction to Suki’s. It’s subtle but her approach towards Rays was aggressive and confrontational, not friendly. No tail wagging, she stands straight up and right in Raya face showing no interest in sniffing her, and we can’t hear it but I’m willing to bet she had a low growl going on too.
No, Raya (airplane ear signed of submission) just tried to play with excitement that landed on suki's back and suki grabbed that opportunity to fight

Well sadly he have to. In order to avoid suki and raya fighting with each other again

They do shout at her but more so at Suki as she’s the adult. Raya is only a few months old which makes her a young child in human yeas whereas Suki is middle aged woman. It’s unreasonable to not be more angry towards the adult and more educating towards the child.

EXACTLY.
Raya isn't going to bite them and the Hoomans don't want her inside the gate so they will take her out and make sure she doesn't go in there.

No, the humans NEED to be the alpha. Ur sentence causes fights. If humans are the alpha there would be no problem with "I'm the boss respect me"

I honestly think you
1.) corrected the wrong dog as Suki is just trying to be a mom and protect her pups.
Why did you yell at Suki? She feels threatened because of the presence of another female when she just gave birth. Why cant you keep Raya away until the puppies have gone to their new family?
I agree...
So we’ll said
Why bring Raya back now? Just adding stress to Suki. This is not to way. It would be a little better, if Suki and her pup would have their own space. This is not good at all...
Looking at the live stream it seems as things have calmed down a bit.
Watch Raya's ears around Suki. She senses the tension and is ready to defend herself.
I love Suki, but the owner did a good job in discipling her
Yes he did suki needs that
But he also needs to discipline Raya when she goes into the cage
@@jmkocum
Facts!!!
@@jmkocum he did he removed her and shut the door
@@felicialuzier4342 yes he absolutely did that but he should have said no and in a firm tone so that she can understand. Also he should try to keep her away from the cage because it’s obviously clear that Suki doesn’t like it
I am not sure Suki is doing much wrong here. She is doing the usual 'im not sure' greeting. The tension is coming from Raya
This oliver and that other person have lost all my respect today. Hitting Suki when she is emotionally high strung. Disgusting! 👎
I have no doubt when the present litter is sold off, Suki will either be sent away or put down citing "an incurable, painful condition". 😢
I can't watch this anymore. There is never a situation where hitting your dog is an acceptable solution. Please talk to a professional trainer before things get worse. There are ways to train your dogs that do not require yelling or physically abusing them and they have much more successful results. The alpha theory and dominance based training are long outdated, have been debunked and arguably cause more problems than they do solutions. Please seek professional help.

You spelled "human" incorrectly.

You need to stop YOUR nonsense.

Omg, did he hit Suki - as correction? Never ever do that to an animal. Too bad we are addicted to watching these beautiful animals on youtube. Human is creating these situations? Why?
so would you rather him not doing anything besides yell and suki ignore him and attack raya and actually do damage? or just firmly push suki around to show that you arent messing around and do no harm to her? Its not like he’s doing this all the time. Its to get suki to knock off what ever she is doing. Ontop of that suki is very well known go not listen to any commands by the owners
Hoomans, I'm glad Raya is back home but I think you need to give Suki time to nurse her puppies until they're big so you can bring Raya back when everything is calm. And please, get dogs trainer to work with Suki and Raya's behavior to get along well or find info about how to help them...idk I hope everything will be alright. Separate them, don't let Raya near her and her puppies...love you.
Brianna bri they know what they are doing
Wait so, back in the house after basically everyone was hurt.
Also damn- Kinda feel bad for ol' Suki.
@@tommyvercetti891
Yeah, sorry, dear Tommy. You do realize opinions are opinions and the only thing I read and cared about was your punctuation.
I understand it could've escalated but she really looked scared right there. Discipline is discipline and that was 1% too far.
@@tommyvercetti891 suki is a new mother protecting her puppies. Raya is a possible threat. The owners decided to reintroduce this possible threat back into the house and let the possible threat enter the puppies den. No wonder suki is tense. She suffers from anxiety anyway, a fact they lied to their vet about. At this point my concern is the puppies. Suki may lose her milk or the puppies could end up being physically harmed. Most reputable dealers keep the new mothers separate from the rest of the pack until they are more relaxed.
Feel bad for Suki. I've never seen suki to have problems with any other female dog except Raya.
@@cdlc5256
Exactly.
Now, Tommy. Have a rhetorical, what if question.
Who are you gonna blame IF we loose the pups from hunger because Suki is stressed and can't provide for them?
I'd like to see your slow self process this.
@@TheIntricateDreamer actually there is a video where Suki has a problem with another female of the same breed outside of the house
Poor Suki😭!
Poor Suki like she hasn't had to enough to deal with 😥
Man good for Shiro he seems to be recently very well behaved, apart from eating Suki's food but I can't be too mad at that 😂
Suki is not only protecting her pups, she has nervous spells from noisy trucks, etc. Please don't take your frustration out on her.
He had no idea about dogs..how to live with a dog .how to treat a dog, what are dogs behaviours what dogs want etc..very rude behaviour ..
I really sad for those dogs
@@bonecollector9115 I agree 100%
@@Daniel-kp8mj I think they do only this for money purposes. and also I think Suki tired of being mother dog always
You have to show them whos the alpha and assert dominance so you can correct their behaviour. Oliver only corrected Suki's though and not Raya's (yet)

It’s pretty obvious that Raya was the one who attacked Suki first previously. Suki is not wrong trying to protect herself and her pups. I am sorry that the owner is giving me impression that he is trying create a drama by letting Raya have her way. Once Suki pups grow and are given away, I am staying away from this channel.
Same here.
Two,'s company, three's a crowd, plus Suki has babies so she's the boss!
I couldn't agree more.👍
Incorrect. The hooman is the boss. Don't be ignorant.
that's the problem. people let their dogs be the boss.
Yeah but how about do a job at disciplining Raya. Suki finds her so damn annoying with her aggressive “affection”. Raya gets away with so much and Suki is a mom again.
scold Raya everytime she goes into Suki’s cage with the babies so she doesn’t do it anymore or whenever she’s hyper (cuz obviously Suki can’t handle her hyperactivity) She’s anxious as a mom and YOU need to correct Raya’s behavior too. Stop indulging it just cuz “hurrdurr Airplane ears”...
Bro suki was questioning humans authority I agree raya needs to be disciplined but it’s not just her fault
