      Because if we like or love someone, or have a symphathy for someone, we don't want to put any meaning to the signs or just ignore them. If the person is someone we don't like, we start to suspect and blame the person maybe even without a proper reason. There was a guy that we knew in our city and everybody liked him even when he was living a suspicious life, we did hang out at his apartment and spent a good time with him but the guy was suspicious and as i said nobody put a meaning to that because everybody liked him. The guy turned up to be monster and he ended up in prison. It was shock to everybody but at the same time it wasn’t a surprise because the guy was giving obvious signs but nobody wanted to care about the signs because the guy was cool, decent working man with nice hobbies.

Her online obituary states that she had three sons. I’m wondering if the small boy could have been Eunice’s youngest son?
      Also, seeing as Shari is being referred to as “Aunt Shari”, it is also plausible that the young boy might be from her family if it’s not Eunice’s son. I found via ancestry and the 1950 census that Shari has about three younger brothers who may have had children of their own and considered Jeffrey as a cousin…

    • @mrblonde609
      @mrblonde609 Год назад +29

      @@chrispybattyone5937 No he did not! He did his own interpretation, but as you can clearly see here in this video: Dahmer was able to socialize, wasn't weird 24/7, had some charme, affection and wasn't as stiff and monotonous as portrayed in the show. He looked the part, okay? But he just played Dahmer as a weirdo 24/7 who wasn't capable of blending in, which is of course complete nonsense. Dahmer also was talking way faster. The show portrayed Dahmer as a robot, which is fine, since he was a pos. But Peters didn't nailed the role in it's entirety. Was he creepy and dangerous? Of course! In every second. And he was great in that sense, but it's just not accurate as you can tell by this video. If you meet a person like Dahmer from the show in real life you would absolutely expect him to be a serial killer, but if someone behaves like Dahmer in this video you absoultely couldn't tell. And that's the difference.

    “On Thanksgiving Day, 1990, Shari and I drove up to West Allis to spend the weekend with my mother. Jeff was scheduled to join us there, but he was very late. While we waited, I took out the video camera and filmed a short conversation with my mother. When it was over, she took me on a tour of the house, smiling a little shyly as the camera recorded her progress. She pointed out various rooms, then led me down into the basement. While she spoke, I let the camera pan along the far walls, past shelves of stored goods, and even a door beneath the stairs, one which was still as tightly closed as it had been months before when I had gone down into the basement to search for some clue as to the strange odors that had been continually rising into the main house. There were no odors that day. There had been no odors for quite some time. They had gone with Jeff.
    Jeff arrived toward the middle of Saturday afternoon. He was dressed very neatly, his hair freshly combed. He wore large glasses, and a cloth jacket which he refused to take off even though the house was very warm. ‘No, no, I’ll just leave it on’, he kept saying, ‘I’ll have to go out for a smoke soon anyway.’
    I took up the camera again, and made a videotape of my son. Through the lens I saw a handsome young man who slouched in the large stuffed chair only a few feet from me.
    He smiled several times and talked about his newfound interest in aquarium fish. He answered my questions politely, and at one point, even got down on the floor and played with my mother’s orange tabby. He seemed to have his life under control.
    Now, when I look at that video, I see much more than I could possibly have seen before. In the chair, Jeff sits with one leg over the other, a single foot dangling in midair. At each mention of his apartment, his foot twitches slightly. With each mention that i or someone else in the family may drop by to pay him a visit, it twitches. With each mention of what he’s doing now, of how his job is going, of what he does in his spare time- it twitches. Something in his distant, half-dead gaze says, ‘if you only knew’.”

      Before reading your comment I didn’t even notice the twitching, although overall he does seem like a nervous/uncomfortable person.
      After reading this, so odd how his body reacts during certain questions like “what have you been doing lately?” and during mentions of him “cleaning up” his apartment.

    This is the very first time I seen him not being interviewed in a prison. He's with his family members. To be sitting next to a person like him being so calm and "nice" but not knowing he had drugged, raped murdered and ate his victims is bizarre. A lot of serial killers just tend to look like ordinary people, being with family and having regular jobs. They just want to blend in with the crowd so people don't know what and who they truly are. It's scary seeing him get along with his family members in this footage, knowing what's happened. Seeing the new jeffrey dahmer Netflix series made it like he was back alive. Evan Peter's played him so well to his voice, to his awkward mannerisms, and portrayed such an evil person that once walked on this earth. Had he have never been caught, he'd still fool everyone around him. He is very eerie. Rip to all the victims ❣️

    The most interesting thing about this clip is that it shows you from the perspective of people around him - how could you actually now? When you see footage of other prominent serial killers there seems to a more “obvious” signs something isn’t right, they tend to be quite outgoing, charismatic or some hint of artificiality comes through almost like a salesmen, Ted Bundy comes to mind… but Jeffrey displays none of these things, I had friends growing up just like Jeffrey they were often not very outgoing nerd types as I was also introverted and struggled to make friends. I could have easily been invited to that guys apartment providing we found some common ground and that is a frightening thought.
