I struggle so much with project use it ups. It’s so hard for me to focus. This sounds like a great idea 💡
This way, I am so much likely to finish things.
I've already established with myself that my specific project use it ups won't continue forever. The reason I'm doing them is to realign my thought processes and to get a better handle on my impulse shopping, and ultimately get myself to actively use what im buying and not buy what i wont use. So theoretically, i better get it together sooner than later on all of that through practice, and not need to implement a project use it up into my personal life forever 😅 thats also why I have been on a lowbuy since around the beginning of the year, until further notice. Im looking to really reduce my collection numbers so i can eventually stop doing project use it ups and just use whats new that i buy in season (because i shouldn't have a huge back stock at that point). Those are my intentions, at least 😂
That's a fantastic plan. I've found that having all of my open and at least partway used items motivational to assist in my shopping habits. This way, instead of "project use it up," I can shop my stash whenever I want. That may give me the chance to use something "like" what I'm looking to buy.
I buy stuff that looks good to “ try,” and then I find a favorite, but I have all the “tries.” It’s little stuff too, shampoo bars, soap, but I don’t want to use the “ tries” that didn’t end up being my favorites, so the amount of things adds up. I suppose this is a very common problem.
@CAGChannel1 Yes. I've decided on items I'm really not sure about, like the new Gingham fragrance. I'll buy a mini, and maybe use a reward. Or even just a hand cream. I know if I don't like a mini ffm, my sister will use it. A hand cream I'll eventually use myself.
I like how you’re choosing products you want to use instead of forcing to use things just to empty them .ive recently been doing this myself and I’m loving it! 🫶🏽 some things I have are
1. Pink paradise mist
2. Pink pineapple sunrise mist and cream
3. Champagne toast travel shower gel
4. Fenty OG travel cream
I love Champagne toast. How is the fenty og cream?
@@jdismylovebug it’s okay. It absorbs into your skin really fast so you have to use a lot to cover your skin, but after it’s really greasy cause of the oils. I wouldn’t buy the bigger size. Simply because of how oily it is afterwards.

so I gave in today, picked up for 5.95 cucumber melon (and I was right, after using it this afternoon, I still don't care for it) I also decided to get Brightest Bloom and the new Pumpkin Swirl Cake for something totally different to try in the end of fall, cold season. I love the idea of shopping your stash, goodness knows I have enough to do that.

Im happy you seem to be feeling better with this layout for what youre doing to keep yourself motivated! Nothing will ever work the exact same for 2 different people-- the best part is figuring out what works for us individually 🫶
I really am. Instead of doing a project, use it up. I'm going to shop my open stash. Maybe update with a project use it up/ shop my stash title so it will let viewers know my intentions.
