Rev-A-Shelf is extremely high quality, highly recommended. Almost done outfitting my entire kitchen with them, check them out and see if it's a good fit! Great video, this is my next move for the pots and pans.
3M makes an extremely strong double-sided foam tape you could use to mount the back support to the cabinet when you're worried about screws poking through like in your application. Great video, I'm expecting my shelves in a couple of days and now feel prepared for the installation.
My husband and I were just trying to remember how to pull out one of the Revashelf shelves to reach behind it, and couldn’t get it apart. I watched your video showing where to find the “triggers.“ Thank you!
We installed 3 2 tier units yesterday and ordered 6 1tier units from Home Depot today. Your video is very helpful. Again, thank you very much and Have a Happy Labor Day Weekend !!
Why, why, why didn't I see your video first?? You would have saved me so much agony! I just finished installing mine and you are exactly right. I have double doors , but also double the size. I thought because it was a two tier, I needed the extra support of screwing the front part into the frame, plus I'd have no wasted space. I was so concerned with the doors opening and closing, I didn't think about the hinges hitting. The top one hits part of the frame!! I can use it, but I'll probably unscrew it all tomorrow and move it over an inch or so. I don't like the scraping....lol Anyway, your entire video was so helpful, even the part of making sure which way to put the slides in. (I'm clumsy too!) Thank you for an excellent video. You have a new subscriber! 😃
I would want to mount the Rev-a-Shelf to either the left or right, not the middle. That way I would have room for more storage on the side. It's too bad that Rev-a-Shelf hasn't created an adjustable product that would maximize the new shelf/basket space. I can't stand wasting storage space.
This is a great video. Thank you. I'm having a problem with sliding the bottom basket on. Seems like the basket is not wide enough to slide in. One side is falling out. Any suggestions?
I just assembled my shelves and will install tomorrow or over the weekend. Just wondering...is that the max width shelf for the cabinet you installed? I noticed theres a few inches (1.5-2?) on the sides that are not being used. Maybe some baking pans can be slid in there. Good job!
Thanks Matthew Dong - I believe that was the max width at the time. I needed to center the unit so that it would slide out and not hit the cabinet doors. So that's why the extra space is needed on either side :D
Jeff Patterson Hi Jeff, im just finishing screwing the u-brackets down. I have about 1 inch extra space on the sides which bugged me at first but it is a small price to pay on such awesome sheves!
I need to REMOVE the outer section of the Sliding mechanism to install Rev-a-Shelf's mounting bracket for a cabinet door due to tight space limitations. How do I get the slider to detach? After removing and installing the bracket, I then want to re-install the outer slide. This is for a two-basket garbage version of the Rev-a-Shelf.
Do you know if these can be installed only on one side? My cabinet is 48" with 2 doors and a stile in the middle. I want to put my cookware in this cabinet. It is terribly inconvenient to get it out w/out the drawer. Also, it's an island. How would you suggest attaching in the back? Thanks for any advice!
Does anyone know where to find the exact replacement machine screws for this unit? I can't find any replacement hardware for anywhere so I went to Home Depot and bought 2 different sizes but one is slightly too large and the other slightly too small. I need the exact parts or exact size. Thanks!
Hi. I have a question. My cabinet has a 1" H panel on the buttom front of the cabinet. Will it interact with the buttom slide? How high is the buttom slide from the buttom of the cabinet? Thank you
Thanks Margo Rutter for your question. Does your H panel run the full width of the cabinet? That's another concern I'd have for you. I'll have to go back over to the house where this was installed and get a measurement for you :)
Excellent video. Thank you for explaining the installation step by step. My wife is going to love these!
glad to help, they are cool
Michael Miller ,
love Rev-A-Shelf products. they have a mind boggling array of solutions. Well done Jeff.

Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much. I couldn't find anyone else installing it freestanding like you did!

How do I find cost list

Thank you Jeff. I am going to have my husband watch your vedio.
+PawaeW Chuenbumrung these are pretty cool for kitchens, great way to improve space management
This is a great video. Thank you.

Great channel with excellent content.
our top shelf in the back has started coming off track when we pull it out. what can we do to fix it?
how did you remove the top wood shelf first?
I'd like to know too
Me too. I have a small fixed shelf that is in the way of installation.
Came here for this question but more importantly the answer!😢

I agree Matthew Dong - hope you like your new space even more now :D
Thank you for the video it was a great help! I successfully installed my own shelves. 😁
Love it...but you never showed what size the unit you used is

Cost of metal shelves
why does my bottom shelf not come out as far as my top shelf. This is so irritating. Is there an adjustment I am missing
How to remove center self??
Wish I could remember Abhi, this video was sone several years ago. I still like the system

Your hand hid the lever that you push down. I tried everything to see if and couldn’t. Thankfully my son figured it out.
Great system, but how the HELL do you remove it when it's time to move??? The frikkin drawer slides have no release to free them from the rack
He shows where the little "triggers" are on the outside-facing part of the slides to release them from the baskets, starting at 0'57" of the video.
Great video, but music was so loud, distracting and unnecessary.
“Maysured”
What a waste of space.
