Since your scripts also feels like your telling a story, I also feel like I understand the storylines better, keep up the good work!

You mention that the destruction of the Chasm and migration of the Chenyu Vale population occurred "before Morax descended and before the Archon War began," and list that as more than 6000 years ago. We know that Morax is 6000+ and that the events of the murals occur before the Archon War, but where is it stated that the events of the murals take place before Morax arrives on Teyvat? I'm wondering if I missed a piece of lore somewhere. Otherwise there's a lot of time between 6000 years ago and the Archon War that this could have happened during, and Records of Jueyun Volume 6 implies that Rex Lapis was around, but still young, when the Chasm was created. (Admittedly this source is not infallible; it refers to the nail as a star, so it's possible the claim that Morax was around then is incorrect as well. But there's still a grain of truth in that *something* certainly fell into the Chasm, although the tale was warped by time.) I'm really hoping for a Baizhu story quest part 2 that can possibly shed some light on all of this lore; I was really surprised that Baizhu and Changsheng weren't mentioned much in Chenyu Vale despite the extremely strong indications that Changsheng is what remains of the Herblord. She wasn't even mentioned by name in the world quest, though there were oblique references to her settling in the harbor. It gave me the feeling that they're saving explicit confirmation for something like a Baizhu quest 2 (or a Lantern Rite, as you said) where we could learn more about Chenyu Vale lore to fill in some of these missing pieces. Really appreciate all the effort you put into these videos. I pay close attention to the lore but sometimes I miss things - I hadn't found Calamity Queller out in Chenyu Vale for instance, and I find that inscription incredibly interesting. I also really enjoyed your map of ancient Chenyu Vale with the higher waters. Your relaxing voice and excellent presentation are an enjoyable way to recap and learn more!

Yes the Herblord did not defeat the God But they scessfully dethroned the God. The herblord is cut to pieces by that unknown God and return to its weaker state which is chansheng we don't know if chansheng remember she is the herblord Maybe what happend to her is same as guoba.

Anyhow, I want to point out some things based on my humble understanding of the lore, and be kind to correct me if I am wrong at any point. *Warning ahead, it's quite a long read*. You're right, the flooding of the Bishui River was probably not the same flood that destroyed the Guili Assembly for mainly timeline reasons: If it was the case, then The God of Chenyu vale wouldn't have been fighting Morax alone, but Guizhong as well, and we know that the time preceding the fall of the Guili assembly was a time of peace because it predates the Archon war, The fall of the assembly and the flood was marked by the death of Guizhong that was ''overpowered by the enemy'', which hadn't been mentioned in the lore of Chenyu vale, thus if the two accidents were the same, then Guizhong must have been alive at that time and by that, or that would have been the scene of her death, in any case, she would have been mentioned. Also the destruction of the Guili assembly happened mainly because of the pace around the time of the start of the war, whereas we can assume the war between the God of Chenyu vale and Morax happened much later. The lore of Chenyu vale is not as straightforward as people think and I see a lot of assumptions that may or may not be true. For example, we know from previous lore that the Chasm was created, and many people assume, around the time Morax had already descended. Probably around the time of the fall of the Solar Chariot, therefore, technically the Civilization came after that because before that, the Chasm would have not existed and the place was but plains. More to back this up is from the Jadefall's Splendor lore we know that the Civilisation was established in the Chasm or at least here is what it says : '' The elders of Qiaoying Village claim that the ancestors of the people of Chenyu Vale came from a chasm to the south. [...] They brought with them a great jade altar, and left behind ancient, enigmatic ruins...The people of Chenyu Vale did not always dwell there, but once called the crystal-veined mountains home. Life of family and tribe both revolved around the mines, and their settlements stretched from peak to peak. [...] After the catastrophe, their forebears were forced to bring their families northward. '' Therefore, the Civilization established in Chenyu Vale cannot be that much older than that of the rest of the Civilisations that inhabited Liyue, more proven by the rather resemblance of ancient Architecture in the region to these of the Guili assembly. We could assume that humans of Chenyu Vale to have inhabited Teyvat in the time of the unified Civilization, lost their contact with the Gods above ''the people of Chenyu Vale lost their guiding emissary'' brought with them the Rainjade and the remains of their old Civilisation whenever it was into Chenyu vale after the fall of the nail on the place. The rainjade was later used by Fujin to conduct the rites. So if the God of Chenyu Vale came with the people from the Chasm, she has to be Seelie because these were the Emissaries of Heavens that guided people, but that cannot be the case because it's stated that ''But later, just like Big Sis Fujin said, something changed, and the people of Chenyu Vale lost their guiding emissary, and they couldn't talk to the heavens any longer - that's how the Rainjade Rite came about.'' so it's really confusing.... Because people usually misinterpret that people came from the Chasm to Chenyu vale, with people worshipping the God of Chenyu vale when they were i the Cham, not mutually inclusive, which I couldn't find any proof of. If the people of Chenyu vale came from the ruins in the Chasm, then at that time, they worshipped the Priomordial one, not the demon Gods. So either that, or the Civilization of Chenyu Vale did not come from the Chasm in the first place, which is highly unlikely. You said that Xiao was freed after the Archon war ended, which I don't believe is true because he fought in the said war ''The unmitigated truth is that Xiao fights against the remnants of the defeated gods from the Archon War, which took place prior to the rise of The Seven.'' and ''Finally, on the battlefield of the Archon War, Morax, the Geo Archon, had a fateful encounter with the yaksha's master.'' from his character story prove otherwise. I also don't believe he was a disciple of the God of Chenyu Vale, precisely because little detail: The robes that Zhongli had been shown wearing were tailored by Menogias, the Geo Yaksha, and Xiao was there in the cutscenes, the same robes Zhongli had been shown wearing around Guizhong, other than that, in the same title as Guizhong, I doubt there wouldn't be a mention of him somewhere in the lore of Chenyu Vale if it wasn't the case. It would also make no sense if the Morax only ''freed'' Xiao when the other disciples were fighting for their lives holding back the God of Chenyu vale, the two stories are too different to be linked. As per what the Adepti are, you're spot on. there have been some articles and Videos explaining why Adepti is an umbrella term that misinterprets a variety of beings in a rather poor way, as per why Fujin says she is nothing like the Adepti of the south, I think that's the reason why now they resorted to calling them ''The mighty and Illuminated Adepti'' or as Fujin says the ''True Adepti'' instead of Just Adepti because the nuance is catching up on the western translations. Anyhow, a huge letdown for me is that we still couldn't connect any of what was given to us with the Nine Pillars of Peace in Cuijue slope : "Greed, nostalgia, vision, jealousy, anger, lust, self-aggrandizement, competition, turmoil..." still haunt me haha 😂

You mention that Xiao’s master was defeated after the war (so, necessarily after the destruction of the Giuli Assembly) but this doesn’t add up with that scene from the lantern rite where the yakshas, including Xiao, were dealing with Guizhong’s remnants. Afaik the flood happened together with Guizhong’s death or right after that. So how could Xiao be already with Morax at that point?
