A tribute to Efteling's Spookslot. Full Show [8K]

When I learned that Spookslot would be torn down to make way for a new (although also spooky) attraction, I felt quite conflicted. Spookslot is one of those places that I always found interesting, but it had really aged. But upon the first visit after the news I realised I had to capture it in the best possible way I could.
With the Nikon Z9 in my hands I decided I would capture the show as a multicam tribute, as I have done before for Star Tours. But this time I would push my limits even more, with a full 8K edit. Capturing the show with over 50 combinations of lenses and locations from the stands I created a complete multicam project close to 5 terabyte of storage. It's a good thing the new Mac Studio got delivered just in time to wrangle all of this data.
Seeing this footage for the first time in such a high resolution, it was quite interesting to see how they managed to do certain tricks like movements, and just how harsh 44 years had been on some dolls. But still, what a beautiful attraction.
So here it is, my definite goodbye to a fantastic attraction.
