Spookslot Efteling - Full POV Walkthrough & Closing Day September 2022

In September 2022 the Spookslot spooked its final guests. An iconic part of Efteling since 1978, still running as good as the day it opened and one of my personal favourite attractions in the world.
This is a full walkthrough filmed between June and September 2022, including its closing night and final guests.
Efteling didn't let this influential attraction disappear without a lot of love, with a busy closing day, archive book exploring its making and its replacement Danse Macabre opening in 2024.

Sadly never got to experience this attraction but I think you captured it’s spooky beauty and ambience brilliantly here.I guess the finale of ‘phantom Fantasia’ at Thorpe Park got a lot of inspiration from this, with the very similar soundtrack and imagery?

Great video, it’s hard to capture the same ambiance in low light but this looks great.
I live in hope that the greatest dark rides are yet to be built. It just needs the right people with a passion to come along at the right time in a park.
VR is not the future, it can’t replace a visceral, immersive environment.
