me and my friends were just pvping and someone joined named "boss:micheal myers" and he looked just like him and the only thing he did was slow walk at us with a knife 😂😂 he def had mods because he took no damage and when we finally got him to half hp he healed then went phase two where he started running at us. even tho he was using mods i didnt even mind because the experience was so funny
I was the same until me and my friends would have fight nights at the round table hold. We are all really good at PvP now because we have so much experience fighting every weapon and ash of war.
I was playing seamless with my buddy and we got invaded. We traded some hits with the iron balls and the hand wraps and then the invader literally stopped mid fight and drops 10 ancient dragon smithing stones. Most wholesome elden ring experience ever

@@_Bunger_ They scale with Intelligence, Faith and Arcane at once, so I think they can slot decently well on any magical build. Arcane is what they scale the best with, but I think they should work fine with an Int/Faith Holy build like mine.
So, during your opening monologue, I'd like to correct one thing. EAC isn't entirely at fault. It's an issue with Armored Core 6, too, but the issue is how Fromsoft implemented it. So, while it's not entirely EAC's fault, they're not blameless in this problem either.

In Japan, it's not that big of an issue since their internet is really good, but playing across the world, it's worse since EAC basically doubles your effective ping, causing people with even 100 ping to be as hard to hit as 175 ping and up.

This mod will definitely inspire the future of From Soft multiplayer. It works so well, and with a growing squad it makes the game feel more like a massive arcade game version of an MMORPG. Synergizing attacks through an entire level feels like how you've always wanted these games too if you could be a bit more unleashed and dynamic. Also a really great way to power level characters and transfer them to main game.
The main issue is how borderline impossible this makes the invasion mechanic under many circumstances (host and co-opers just run away to a different continent on the map via horse), which means that Fromsoft would have to implement something that balances out stuff like that. And Fromsoft hasn't really shown much capability nor willingness to insert PvE alteration systems because the invasion system has always been a hands-off, self-fixing mechanic that allows the base game to remain mostly untouched save for boss hp, specially thanks to the games not being seemless co-op. Unless some absolutely crazy stuff becomes enabled for invaders, Fromsoft would be forced to insert a lot of questionable PvE alterations that would mostly remove the purpose of invasions. Another issue is that the seemless co-op crowd has repeatedly shown that they really don't care about the seemless aspect at all and were just using the mod to disable invasions, as evidenced by how extremely pissed they got when the mod added invasions (they can literally just password summon their friends regardless of level differences with a 20-30 second interval between area bosses. The mod doesn't actually make much of a difference regarding co-op integration aside from enabling Torrent for everyone when you really think about it).

I don't like doing PvP, but I love watching people who are good at Pvp, so I do watch your stuff. The ability to turn off invasions is what lets me and my husband finally be able to play together in peace and fun without getting invaded by somebody who loves PvP constantly. This is also a win for people who love PvP because now it means everyone you invade consented to being invaded since they didn't turn it off, so you should end up with better fights.
Invasions are an amazing part of these games and you are only lessening the experience for yourself. I admit the pvp is the worst so far but not for the host. Also there are cooldown timers on invasions so you don't get constantly reinvaded after each invader unless you use the tongue. It's ok to die, the game is literally about dying all the time. That's a huge part of it's gimmick, so why are people so afraid to fight other people? I mean the game is about learning and adapting, if your just watching someone else carry you while you watch then what are you really even doing?

But you are never guaranteed to be invaded by the same person, and unlike the NPCs, humans adapt and improve too. So there is every chance that you'll lose repeatedly or the things you learned simply don't apply to the next invader. 7) Remember that the default single player experience does not have human invaders. 8) You are making an assumption that just because people are doing co-op, means that they need help with the game or they need to be carried. Sometimes, people want to play together.

I've been on this mod from the start, I just love how much it improved over the years :) Unfortunately without any Anti-Cheat, i'm scared that the game might become dangerous to play with invasion activated, we all know what happened to Vanilla DS3 so i won't get my hopes to high either.. But other than that i'm astonished by the amount of work that was put into this mod, it's truly a masterpiece of a mod.
honestly it was good for the first few days, lots of scrubs and opportunities to play casually in invasions and now about a week later im mostly seeing ganks and people with endgame/dlc gear around stormveil... why would they make it opt in thats so ass lmao
One of the biggest complaints for seamless co op when it first released was that since it was so popular is basically killed the invasion system for PC elden ring. Going as far as saying they hope the mod got a cease and desist order to be forcibly shutdown. I'm glad they found a way to fix this issue that a lot of people had for it at the start. Now to fix the issue of people being ungrateful in the nexus comments under seamless...
I was playing around with spritestones today and they’re kinda funny. I used one at the start of a duel and it’s so slow that I forgot about it until it exploded in the other players face and killed him.
I don’t really pvp much. But this is a great push to embrace the mod. I don’t like how modded games can’t split communities, but with how limited PC is because of anti cheat even on the FPS optimization level I’ll finally try it.
sadly i had to turn invasions off, because we got invaded 3 times--- first one was invincible, second one was teleporting and flashing around like anime protagonist and the last one was using one hit kill... so i decided to spare my nerves and turned it off... but thumbs up for the mod, loved it before, love it now.. and From Soft was cool about it and they even gave it thumbs up...

I am one of the few who doesn't want invasions but, still watch your videos. I don't enjoy invading anymore(did a lot of it and lost a lot from ds1 to 3 lol) or getting invaded anymore and am happy to see the cool builds pvpers come up with with the restrictions of the pvp meta levels.
I've played on seamless a lot, and, I agree, it's better imo than basegame invasions (and you can even turn them off entirely which is a big selling point as well I think.) But it is, also, yes, very jank. FOR EXAMPLE. We got invaded outside the boss fogwall in Inir Illim, after the invader killed two of us, just the host was left, and for *some reason*, it connected the invader as the host. They'd already beaten the boss, so, my friend, "beat" the boss. Another story, I was in Roundtable Hold, buying upgrades and stuff, and we got invaded. Which meant, I couldn't warp, and even if the invader had a cheat-engine script to warp to me, they can't because I was in Roundtable. Similar things probably happen if like, part of the party is in the Shadow Lands and part of the party is in the Lands Between. We also had one where we'd just taken the teleporter in the Consecrated Snowfields, and, I donno if the invader was cheating, or, if our hitboxes were still reading as on that teleporter, but we all got hit by 5 AOEs and died. I've also insta-died to deathblight (not sure how, probably a hack...or, very very bad latency.) But also APPARENTLY, they are going to add TEAM invasions (kinda like Taunter's Tounge probably, but presumably you and a friend can que up to attack a group of 3+)
pvp helper tool's seamless invasions option to telport to host. Very easy, made by same person as seamless. For those that want the CE script, i think steelovsky's disc cord has the script. Happy invading!
This is my first time seeing anything to do with this mod really, but there are definitely some pros and cons. Better scaling and less latency, awesome. Less to no fog walls cutting off areas, sounds good to me. Being able to use Torrent, might be interesting. But I think invading with 14 flasks is going too far. Let's not forget that the host is going through the level, there is a good chance even they don't have all their flasks. If we invade them at the end of a level, We may have twice as many flasks as them and their coop partner combined. But, thinking about it, perhaps this is balanced out by the coopers having 14 as well... I definitely won't be looking into using this myself if I have to teleport to the host, obviously that is straight up cheating. So hopefully they fix whatever is wrong with the spawn points soon. I would love a video going over all the details of this mod.
You're a rare sight, and a welcome one as well I've heard there's currently a script that helps with the spawn points, and the seamless coop dev is working on adding that functionality to the mod Reggarding the point on flask advantage, I don't really think the seamless co-op players who chose to play with invasions enabled would care much tbh. The experience is so fluid and devoid of friction I doubt anybody would stress too much over dying to a red under those circumstances. You don't need to go though the loop of resummoning people and sitting through unnecesary loading screens as often as in vanilla. In my experience that makes the ocurrence of encountering reds feel more exciting, regardless of my progress through a level or how many resources I have left
My opinion on seamless did a complete 180 On one hand, opt in of the invasion system is bad for the red On the other being able to invade in seamless just gives access to more hosts worldwide And since many invaders create cool and memorable builds with unique playstyles, being now able to enrich a seamless group's experience through a cool opponent as well, is real nice.

I just wish fromsoft did like Larian studios did in the past. They saw mods that was just pure improvements and released a patch so you could just add them from the menu!!
If your still wondering, search pvp helper. Very easy to use, run app with game, hit attach to game and look for the slider for seamless invasions. After that enjoy being teleported to the host and having your red invader color back.
I mean correct me if I am wrong but it just looks like two people who want to experience the story for themselves together using a mod to go through the game seamlessly without getting invaded every 2 minutes and being confined into zones. Why should they have to bother with a person who invades their world and ruins their fun? Maybe they simply don't have the time to spare for it?
@@komur4092 First off, you can deactivate invasion in seamless co op by just modifying a line of code inside and .ini file. It's super simple and it's also written on the NexusMod page on how to do it. The second thing is what the original comment said : they were actually cheating and were invulnerable to both PvP AND PvE! Those guys just don't play the game.
You don’t, he’s using a Cheat Engine script to teleport himself to the host. The invasion feature is very buggy right now and very often spawn you in areas that don’t allow you to reach the host at all.
Seamless invasion are weird like u already Mentioned the invasion spawns are weird sometimes u spawn even behind a boss and somtimes are players invisible and invincible while being able to attack u but atleast for it is that way, that u can get random items during or after an invasion no mether win or loss (and u can pick up items in the others world Wich can lead to get some stuff early like wing insignia) hope everyone has a plesent day

Seamless coop should just be implemented into the game on all platforms at this point, difficulty ramp, allow invasions idgaf, I just want to explore with my friends without having to constantly deal with the clunky summon player system 😊
Something I'm really curious about which I would appreciate an answer to if possible. My Mates and I had invasions enabled for about 5 hours the other day and never has a single invader, not sure if we set it up incorrectly, noone felt like invading of if invaders need your password to invade. We all had it enabled in the files, just curious does the invader require the password?
They dont need a password i think its just not a lot of people are invading. I get instant invades when i do invasions but hardly ever get invaded when i open my world

spawns being jank? oh god yes. the second underground zone something river will spawn you in lower zone when the host is in upper. and with no phantom fingers you cant respawn to get actually near the host.

Cheat Engine during invasions ? Average invader behavior I guess, they already have 99 of every consummables at all time, so CE seems totally legit for them to use as well.

They'd already beaten the boss, so, my friend, "beat" the boss.
Another story, I was in Roundtable Hold, buying upgrades and stuff, and we got invaded. Which meant, I couldn't warp, and even if the invader had a cheat-engine script to warp to me, they can't because I was in Roundtable. Similar things probably happen if like, part of the party is in the Shadow Lands and part of the party is in the Lands Between.
We also had one where we'd just taken the teleporter in the Consecrated Snowfields, and, I donno if the invader was cheating, or, if our hitboxes were still reading as on that teleporter, but we all got hit by 5 AOEs and died.
I've also insta-died to deathblight (not sure how, probably a hack...or, very very bad latency.)
But also APPARENTLY, they are going to add TEAM invasions (kinda like Taunter's Tounge probably, but presumably you and a friend can que up to attack a group of 3+)

There has to be neutral invasions where the invader is able to damage and be damaged by mobs. Invader is rewarded here for both pvp and pve.
pvp helper tool's seamless invasions option to telport to host. Very easy, made by same person as seamless.

If you get stuck , sometimes you can't interact with levers or plot events like burning the shadow thorns.
This is my first time seeing anything to do with this mod really, but there are definitely some pros and cons. Better scaling and less latency, awesome. Less to no fog walls cutting off areas, sounds good to me. Being able to use Torrent, might be interesting. But I think invading with 14 flasks is going too far. Let's not forget that the host is going through the level, there is a good chance even they don't have all their flasks. If we invade them at the end of a level, We may have twice as many flasks as them and their coop partner combined. But, thinking about it, perhaps this is balanced out by the coopers having 14 as well...
I definitely won't be looking into using this myself if I have to teleport to the host, obviously that is straight up cheating. So hopefully they fix whatever is wrong with the spawn points soon.

Yeah. Probably won't be allowing invasions but that fine cause you don't have to. Invasions are optional in this mod.

I've heard there's currently a script that helps with the spawn points, and the seamless coop dev is working on adding that functionality to the mod
Reggarding the point on flask advantage, I don't really think the seamless co-op players who chose to play with invasions enabled would care much tbh. The experience is so fluid and devoid of friction I doubt anybody would stress too much over dying to a red under those circumstances.
You don't need to go though the loop of resummoning people and sitting through unnecesary loading screens as often as in vanilla. In my experience that makes the ocurrence of encountering reds feel more exciting, regardless of my progress through a level or how many resources I have left
My opinion on seamless did a complete 180
On one hand, opt in of the invasion system is bad for the red
On the other being able to invade in seamless just gives access to more hosts worldwide
And since many invaders create cool and memorable builds with unique playstyles, being now able to enrich a seamless group's experience through a cool opponent as well, is real nice.

I just wish fromsoft did like Larian studios did in the past. They saw mods that was just pure improvements and released a patch so you could just add them from the menu!!

If your still wondering, search pvp helper. Very easy to use, run app with game, hit attach to game and look for the slider for seamless invasions.
After that enjoy being teleported to the host and having your red invader color back.

I mean correct me if I am wrong but it just looks like two people who want to experience the story for themselves together using a mod to go through the game seamlessly without getting invaded every 2 minutes and being confined into zones. Why should they have to bother with a person who invades their world and ruins their fun? Maybe they simply don't have the time to spare for it?
@@komur4092 First off, you can deactivate invasion in seamless co op by just modifying a line of code inside and .ini file. It's super simple and it's also written on the NexusMod page on how to do it. The second thing is what the original comment said : they were actually cheating and were invulnerable to both PvP AND PvE! Those guys just don't play the game.

You don’t, he’s using a Cheat Engine script to teleport himself to the host. The invasion feature is very buggy right now and very often spawn you in areas that don’t allow you to reach the host at all.
Seamless invasion are weird like u already Mentioned the invasion spawns are weird sometimes u spawn even behind a boss and somtimes are players invisible and invincible while being able to attack u but atleast for it is that way, that u can get random items during or after an invasion no mether win or loss (and u can pick up items in the others world Wich can lead to get some stuff early like wing insignia) hope everyone has a plesent day

Seamless coop should just be implemented into the game on all platforms at this point, difficulty ramp, allow invasions idgaf, I just want to explore with my friends without having to constantly deal with the clunky summon player system 😊

If you enable invasions, they happen as long as you open your world to others. You don't neet cooperators to join you
you have to open your world up to get invaded with the tiny pot that comes with the mod items
Something I'm really curious about which I would appreciate an answer to if possible.
My Mates and I had invasions enabled for about 5 hours the other day and never has a single invader, not sure if we set it up incorrectly, noone felt like invading of if invaders need your password to invade. We all had it enabled in the files, just curious does the invader require the password?
They dont need a password i think its just not a lot of people are invading. I get instant invades when i do invasions but hardly ever get invaded when i open my world

spawns being jank? oh god yes. the second underground zone something river will spawn you in lower zone when the host is in upper. and with no phantom fingers you cant respawn to get actually near the host.
Recently met a invader in this mod and what do you know unkillable, infinite hyper armor and poise and stamina a hacker.

Cheat Engine during invasions ? Average invader behavior I guess, they already have 99 of every consummables at all time, so CE seems totally legit for them to use as well.
