  • Hi! I am Joanna and I have recently trained to be a primary school teacher in Scotland. I did my training through the University of Aberdeen and in this video I discuss the process and what training was like, with advice at the end. I have finished my training and I began my probation year, though I have recently swapped to the Flexi-Route to quality instead to give me time to decide whether teaching is right for me. Ask any questions you have down below and I can make more videos about teaching, education, or me!

    Hello Madam 👋
My name is Ogechukwu, I'm 32 years old and I'm from Delta State, Nigeria. I came across your RUclips page with a problem bothering me.
I have a problem, I graduated with HND in Civil Engineering from a Nigerian Polytechnic and I really want to know If I stand a chance of securing admission in one of the Universities in Scotland.
I'm really worried and I do not know what to do or how to go about it, I just want to know my fate and where I stand with my HND certificate.
I have been running around RUclips to find a solution but yet no solution until I came across your page and then decided to reach out to you, I am patiently waiting for your response.
Please let me know how to go about this, will i be accepted for Masters Program or PGD.
Please i need a mentor and who will guide me through this journey.
    Thank you.

Hi! I don’t see why not - universities in Scotland are very welcoming to international students and accommodating. It’ll be the equivalent education level that you will need to get in and a good personal statement. I’m not sure about visas, you’ll probably need to get a student visa. Email into universities that you like and they will advise you:)
