didnt say anything about stock suspension. Nor did i say i had a 4L60E... I said its "SAS'd." its in the initial post .. I said stock "FRAME"@@kentuckyboy1
Looks nice. I want to solid axle swap my 98 Tahoe. I can’t decide on coilovers or a good set of custom leaf springs. Can you comment on ride quality and handling on both coilovers and custom leaf springs like Alcan? My main concern with ditching the IFS is making long stretches of washboard road or handling on the highway a miserable experience.
So I see that the np271 transfer case is only offered for 07 and older Chevy trucks. Do they offer a 271 transfer case for a 09 Silverado gasser? I’ve already done the sas with your kit. Just looking to upgrade my transfer case. Also with the stock steering box for the Chevy. Do you guys recommend to swap out the steering box for a ford one or do you just upgrade to like a red head steering box? Seems my truck don’t like the stock Chevy steering box. So need to upgrade that as well 😊
As far as the transfer case, we have not found a good swap for the 09 Gas. We suggest you call transfer case express and see what they have to offer. If you have a floor shift case, they will be able to help you out. If you have an electronic shift case, it might be hard. On the steering, we suggest buying a new box and pump kit from PSC. It is the standard GM bolt-in box. No need to change to a FORD box.
Why would you keep that spare tire underneath the bed on that thing? Get rid of that thing. If I had a dime to spend, I'd look into some auxiliary fuel tank there where the stock spare is.
Oops. Looks like I've said the same thing twice already... Please don't jack up the quote price on me when I take my 99 Silverado to you after I retire.
Well since y'all don't got a good kit for a 04 super duty 60 looks like I'ma have to build one and sell that kit. Ill recoup my money for development then sell design to someone....
Nice truck, need more 1500 builds.. had mine SAS'd on 44s for nearly 13 years now, still on the stock frame. no issues. cateye is the best body style

That’s a bad ass truck. You guys do great work. 👍
Thank you!
Good stuff! I’ve heard of a 81-87 coil over kit from you guys but have to call to order. Do you have any details on it? A video perhaps?

These solid axle kits make a good truck a great truck....🤘
We couldn't agree more.
Looking great 👍, one day I hope you can do a solid axel swap on my 2004 Toyota Tundra.
Let us know when you're ready!

Converted my 07 Duramax but used the NP205 so far superior to the GM transfer case
What’s the case from and did you change drive shafts ?
I wonder if that sas kit would work on a 1500hd or 2500 non hd.
Nice truck!!
What's the ball park cost on these swaps with the 271 case??

No, no, thank you!

What axle would you recommend for a 2013 gmc sierra 1500? Would like to keep the 1/2 ton running gears and tires/ rims combo.
I am very interested in doing this. Can you give me an estimate? Thanks

Best way to make a gm better is bolting ford parts to it i love it. 😂😂

Cool story. 👍

You really do need to get rid of that useless spare tire you got underneath there.
I'll just buy a ford.
