Nice to see udaipur places. Despite being an Indian, i haven't seen several places in India and Rajasthan is one of them.! Despite being a foreigner, you're exploring the length and breadth of each places here in India that makes me so shy.. just because we tend to go abroad to spend our holidays and whenever we get a chance without understanding our own country and states.! It's an irony. Watching your videos is so much informative and we get to know the real India in its villages through your videos. As we city dwellers always forget to take a look at what's happening in our villages.! Thanks a ton. Take your adventures forward with full vigour and spirits..👍
Went there for my anniversary with zero expectation and udaipur just surprised me with its vibrancy and royalty.. amazing place to be .. particularly in the old city near City palace
OMG- watching your India videos makes me want to visit India this winter. I've been visiting Bali and the SE countries: Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand so many times already. I think India would be a great place for a change for sure.
Yes I am Indian and never did the traveling in my country. I lived there until I was 22. Now I am in Germany as a student since last 3 years and waiting for a job to finally get some money so I can travel. If you have money, please travel many places. Travel India too ❤

In case you don’t find public toilet, you can go to any good restaurant or a cafe there you can possibly find a decent clean toilet 😅

Hi Susan. Very nice videos. And since you like juice so much you should try sugarcane juice as well. It's there only in summers and is very refreshing. Also, India has many stunning temples with exceptional architecture and art. Do try to visit the famous ones in the city you are in. You will love them. Enjoy your trip. Also do try the street foods from good and famous places and definitely try pani puri. You won't ever taste these things anywhere else. And each city or state has their own speciality of cuisines.
Udaipur is one of the few places in india which has never been conquered by foreign rulers. so there is a feel of authentic India.
Not true really..Udaipur was conquered but could not hold for longer....
Greeks, Greek-bactrians, Scythians, Gaznavis, Huns, Assyrians-turk, Mughals, even udaipur was almost difficult hold for even indeginous rulers like Rajputs, Chalukyas, Sisodias, Rashtrakutas or Pratihars,

Susan .. even in India for the most tourists places like Udaipur or Goa, the toilet/washroom/bathrooms can be seen on the Google maps. The city palace too has a bathroom
I had visited Rajasthan for 2 weeks with all the major district administrative cities covered, including ofcourse the state capital city Jaipur. Udaipur @ 'Lake City' is a lovely city & we were 'freezing' while having dinner by the famous Pichula Lake. Love from Msia.

While roaming in Rajasthan, you should hire guide as each place has history associated with it. The guide will explain u about the importance of the place, its history and unique things. In absence of a guide u will only see a place without understanding its significance

usually if any seller calls you "my friend" in India, its a red flag :)) they do this to Indian tourists too but their main focus is foreign tourists. They would always sell you at a much higher price. Although there are exceptions.

BTW, one rule of street food in India. Always buy the food like samosa, pakora, vada paav etc from the sellers who are cooking it in front of you. and make sure a lot of locals are buying there as well. If it's kept on display and if it's not piping hot, it generally causes trouble.

also I would like to share some points
like the lady from which you bought the samosa was saying that, that thing is most oftenly eaten along with the tea, same thing for samosa also, it also eaten along with the tea most often,
Secondly, Samosas mostly come with potato filling but you can get samosa with some other fillings too like noodles filling in it at some some places. Also while buying it, make sure its prepared in front of you and should hot n fresh plus other local people also buying from it, otherwise it can make your stomach upset.
And lastly important thing to share, whenever you go at some place to visit, make sure you go toilet once, just before leaving your hotel room. And still if you need it in the middle of the visit and unable to find public toilet, you can use toilets of nearby restaurants.

You should visit northeast part of India also... which is more close to nature.
If you have international driving license, Try and arrange self drive cars on rent for transport within state. Rent a new car everytime you go to a new state. Makes transport much more easier. Long distance road travel is much more fun in india. You can also rent a two wheeler/motorbike/scooty for travels within city...you have control over your time that way.
