My fantasy Voltron reboot plot: cushfuddled.tumblr.com/post/6... I can't BELIEVE I forgot to list The Head and the Heart with my favorite bands...WHAT KIND OF MONTANAN AM I
It's great to come across commentators/reviewers like yourself, just having fun while speaking your mind. Best way to describe this channel is cozy, every review and video is just like hearing from a friend or someone you're cool with has a very nice style to it even though it's not professional. Not the greatest, but its enjoyable and what I come to expect of RUclipsrs.
I found you through the Monsters University video, and I absolutely loved it. So I binged every other video you made, and I loved them all, so I subscribed and this is now one of my favourite channels and you are one of my favourite creators.
your monsters uni video was amazing, i don't usually feel like i see good stories of disability and as a bedbound person i thrive on media i can feel cared about through in some way. i loved it, truly. ❤️❤️
Hey, you understand that your growth is because you fill one unexplored niche. Your Chanel is extremely progressive but extremely grounded, extremely gay but extremely straight friendly(why my brain listens this as an description for asexuality), well spoken but not threatening or inaccessible, and dorky but in a cool way. You are nice 👍🏽
wait you're the juno steel: a serious summary person!! that video p much singlehandedly got me into it, now I'm halfway through Heart of it All, so tysm for that!!
Congrats on the 20k! I simply adore your channel, I really Vibe with the feel of your content even though i've never watched voltron, but I feel like that a lot with other people who are on the spectrum, i suppose your content is just unhinged enough to be just my cup of tea. I think my favorite skit of yours is when you spelled out WHAT WAS IN JOHNS LETTER or something similar with cereal, I feel that emotion on a spiritual level
Huge congrats on 20k!! You'll probably spike from here on :,D I love listening to you while I draw, and am super excited to see you go from here!! Also I ADORE Imogen Heap, Neglected Space babeyyyy
Honestly can't believe you're only now getting to 20k. Your reviews are wonderful. Self-aware and funnier for it at the same time. Btw if you're into Zoë Keating check out Julia Kent, she got me through my finals this year. I'll also recommend Explosions in the Sky ---> Years of Rice and Salt because I love post-rock and can't help myself.
Ok, I've got to pick up on the Grand Designs comment. I love love LOVE that show and since I got to grow up with More 4 which had the show on re-runs pretty much every day I've ended up watching every episode like 10 times over. Sorry for info splurging but I don't get very many times to express the love I have for the show outside of my family. Kevin MacLeod is a true G and deserves all the love.
I was really hard on this show lol, but I do love it! And Kevin is fantastic. I only wish it were easier to find all those episodes from the US...they only have about three seasons between Netflix and Amazon, and you have to do some real digging to find even okay-ish pirated versions Dx
Hey, I'm 26 and I've historically have had depression and anxiety since I was like 12. This year has been particularly hard for me (even before the lockdown) and my psychologist was investigating if I was in the spectrum but ultimately dropped it and is looking more at an angle of ADD. Your sense of humor and interests are very similar to mine and I feel kinda connected to you because of that. Even tho my therapist dismissed it I'm still in doubt because of the research I ended up doing when see inquired me. What helped your diagnostic? Are there any tips you can give to see if there is a definitive way to know that you are or aren't in the spectrum? I'm sorry if this is too much of a personal question, you don't have to answer!! Thank you
Hiya! I'm deeeeefinitely not an expert, so please take all this with a grain of salt! It can be incredibly difficult to figure out whether a person is on the spectrum. There are just so many overlapping symptoms between autism and ADD! It's not always a scenario where you can tick a certain number of boxes and say "I'm autistic!" or "I'm not autistic!" Even doctors can mess this up. I got tested a lot when I was little; one doctor said I wasn't on the spectrum at all. Another doctor said I was so "severely" autistic I most likely wouldn't graduate high school. Sometimes you just...gotta' go with whatever label feels right to you. It sucks to not have a definitive answer, but...yeah. What can you do. After so many conflicting diagnoses, I finally decided I was autistic because of my symptoms. I'll list them out in case any of them resonate with you: First, I started talking late. I think I spoke my first words at three years old. As a little kid I flapped my hands; lined up my stuffed animals (and my other collections...stuff like shiny sequins and shells); had a personal space bubble the radius of a small planet; hated crowds and loud noises; struggled to pay attention when the topic wasn't related to something I was passionate about; spun in circles; preferred to play by myself. Over time some of those symptoms "mellowed out." I don't flap my hands anymore. Sometime in high school I realized I liked hugs, and began to acclimate myself to physical contact. I can stand crowds and loud spaces for much longer periods than when I was a kid. I taught myself how to follow the pace, tone, and topic of a conversation, which allowed me to make more friends. But I still have to work hard to behave "normally" for long periods of time; I swing while listening to music to stim; I have special interests that last me 3-6 years at a time. I've also never grown out my HATRED for tight clothing (I'm very sensitive to textures)...you'll almost never see me wear anything but sweatpants and pajama pants lol. What confused the doctors so much about me as a kid was the fact that I showed all those telltale signs, BUT I had no apparent problems maintaining eye contact and I had high empathy (to the point that I got really anxious when other people were anxious). They slapped an ADD label on me for a while, but once I started to research autism I was like, "OH! That's me!" So...again. It's complicated. I truly believe you don't have to get a diagnosis from a doctor to be a part of the autistic community. If there's anything I've learned over the years, it's that sometimes doctors don't know what the hell they're talking about lol. It's also okay to use a label for a while and then switch later on; that doesn't somehow make you a liar or a traitor or whatever. Wherever you end up, know that you're totally valid!
Greeting from a fellow ambiguously spectrum-ed, I have struggled with the same types of things and I actually was just officially diagnosed officially with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) about a week ago! It took me a long time to find someone to actually evaluate me since I was never assessed as a child and finding someone who will assess an adult is extremely difficult. The person I went to is named is Kristel Olsen and she is one of the few actual licensed experts in the field of working with autism spectrum adults with decades of experience. She was even nice enough to evaluate me via Zoom because I live too far away to go in-person. kristelscouseling . net if you're interested. Even though I knew I had it already it helped me personally to feel that extra bit of validation, and to have it officially documented so my university teachers HAVE to let me leave the room when I get overstimulated (take that Karen!). This diagnosis is about as definitive as it gets and I think it was totally worth it. Edit: I'm 23
Thank you guys so much for sharing your stories and support!! Perhaps I'll write a more detailed comment when I've got the time (in between giving classes now) but I wanted to say that I'm very grateful 💛
I dont know why youtube recommended me to you, because I never watched Voltron nor have I any intention to after your review, but I really enjoyed the video you made about the show. + Without you I propably never would have watched She-Ra which im now absolutely in love with and which I have enjoyed like no other show in a long time. So thanks for that, I like your personality, I'll keep watching. Thanks for making videos.
I started showing my bff the Penumbra Podcast and she *hates* the kissing noises and I feel the urge to apologize every time... personally I quite like them tho :3c
I don't have tumbler or other social media accounts so....... (you can say it is weird, I just call it more productive) Do you have a few sequals already planned out that you know you want to do a video on? Or do you think you'll cover some more shows? I think my favorite sequal would be Bambi 2 because it is cute and I love the father son relationship in it. Well yeah. Bye Love you
Oh my god, I've never heard of another person who actually liked Lion King 3. Like sure, it"s dumb, but that's part of the point to me. It's dumb fun coated with a nice warm story of reaching for your dreams.
I have the same problem recommending penumbra to people lmaoo I completely forget that the first few episodes are like that. But season 2 of the Juno Steel storyline was amazing, esp the finale ep
A big example is yesterday's Supernatural episode. The finale felt like it was written around season 1 or 2 and rushed to all hell trying to make it still fit
It was discontinued for now (the "big job" is a book deal for two graphic novels, so I'm gonna' be really busy for the next couple years and won't have time to update it!) but you can see what I had so far here: www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/chosen/list?title_no=353388&page=1
This is exactly how I imagined you to be. You don’t disappoint and I can’t wait to see what you do next.

I did not get diagnosed with adhd until i was 31 so yeah, that happens.
I loved the part at 9:36 btw xD

Ooo Daughter and Metric
Love Imogene heap too
Good for uuuu
💕
You should know your ending, but also sometimes if you keep a pre-planned ending that doesn't fit anymore, you need to cut it
A big example is yesterday's Supernatural episode. The finale felt like it was written around season 1 or 2 and rushed to all hell trying to make it still fit
Imogen Heap's Hide & Seek is a total bop 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
