    What an awesome rig! Good video, quick and to the point while being informative. This style of camper is not yet popular in Australia. This looks like the next evolution in our version of the canopy. Those Blue Ridge Overland bags look like the truth. I have to get some!

      Yeah, these style campers are a step down compared to usual slide-in campers here in the US. It's interesting to watch the evolution of products from both sides of the world and see the give-and-take of how things change over time.

    Very Nice! I am seriously thinking about a Prinsu Rack on a Tacoma with a Fleet Four Wheel Camper. It fits your Tundra. I think it'll work on the Tacoma. I like those Blue Ridge Bags you have mounted inside. With my Propane 3 way Fridge I added some baffling to the inside of the outer fridge compartment to direct the air more directly over the condenser and added a couple old computer fans. It gives you several degrees lower temperature in hot weather.

    Question. Can a 2020 Tundra Limited, with an offroad package, be built for an offroad/ overlanding rig? How well can it do? Or would the extra money be better off spent on the TRD Pro?

    • @BlueRidgeOverlandGear
      @BlueRidgeOverlandGear  2 года назад

      It really comes down to weighing the cost of the included features and what you plan to tackle with putting those funds towards trip and/or camp accessories. Also, off-road and overland aren't necessarily synonymous. That Tundra can handle thousands of miles of forest roads and other tracks, but before you take it down aggressive trails it will probably need more protection, recovery equipment, and more.

    I have to ask, for the electrical system, why the choice of both a SwitchPro and a BantamX sPod? I've seen 2 sPods (for up to 16 accessories), is it because one system runs one set of accessories and the other runs another? And cool setup, by the way.

    This is a fantastic build. Have you weighed it to see what the remaining payload looks like?

      About 1500 reserve load, as the suspension was upgraded to about a 1.75 ton.
