I was just eating here yesterday for lunch, 3/27/24.
I ordered the Bo Ne and my friend ordered the Bo Luc Lac.
I hope you make a video eating at "Saigon Pagolac" one day.
I think it is a very unique Vietnamese restaurant that a lot of Americans are not familiar with.
I usually get the Grilled Beef, Shrimp, and Bo La Lot to roll up in a springroll.

Lol are you serious? We're going where the good food is at haha! How was the bo ne there? Did you get it with bone narrow? I saw that on yelp and it looked delicious. Ooh I used to always go to Saigon Pagaloc! Have you been to their sister restaurant Jasmine? I usually get the grilled beef and sometimes bo la lot too at Saigon Pagaloc. I haven't tried the grilled shrimp but I'm sure it's just as yummy as the beef

No. I didn't try the Bone Marrow with the Bo Ne. I forgot about that.
Yes, I have been to Jasmine, but the food options felt different to me. I think because it has more food options.

@@HoustonEats I haven't been to Jasmine in years, I went to Saigon Pagaloc a few months ago but it wasn't as delicious as I remember. I need to go again and see if it was just an off day

I heard the same thing about Saigon Pagolac. The the food quality and service has gone down over the years. And that the owner is rude to the customers.
But I still see some people posting about how good the restaurant is.
So I hope to go there to record a video soon in the future. I just hope that the food quality hasn't gone down when I go.

@@HoustonEats Ooh man, maybe the rumors are true lol. I didn't feel the service was that great either, but then again it's Chinatown haha. But I'm curious to see how Jasmine is since I haven't been there in years! I still definitely want to return to Saigon Pagaloc in the future also to see if the day I went was just an off day. I'll give them some time though to step up their game before I return haha

I look forward to your videos every week. You are such an adventurous foodie! I will need ro add this place to my list of place to try. It is time for you to do a review of other types of food such as Texas BBQ! Go to Burns BBQ or Killen's BBQ! ❤

Haha you know, I can't believe I have never been to Killen's or Burns BBQ. I actually never even heard of Burns BBQ until recently when I went on Yelp to look for a bbq place to review. I just haven't got around to it because I keep wanting crawfish and other food first lmao, but yes I will get around to it eventually 😅. I really do have so many restaurants I want to go to! P.S.- the best beef ribs I've ever had was at home no lie I promise lol, maybe I'll have to make a video of that. Wagyu beef ribs from HEB (which we actually bought some this week, what are the chances). We sous vide it for about 16 hours and omgosh, I never had anything better. So Burns and Killen's got some real competition!! lol

No worries. Get your crawfish fix. It is unbelievable that live crawfish is over $5 per pound! It should be dropping in price soon. For beef ribs, you can find short ribs at Costco Business Center, but not in Wagnu. Still worth trying with more meat on bones.😢

@@williamyee2294 It's highway robbery $5/lb for live crawfish!! Lol no thank you! I think it's the sous vide cooking method that takes it to the next level whether it's ribs from Costco, HEB, or anywhere though. Nothing beats sous vide. I sous vide everything 😁 even eggs before haha

      Hey Hong,
I have not used sous vide to cook meats. What temperature is the meat cooked? Do you have buy special equipment to be effective? I will need to read up and try it as long as I don't need to buy extra equipment. Did I tell you are amazing?😅
