Long rakes are wonderful to watch. Earlier today, my neighbour and I broke our "steam haulage record," which was held by Hornby's A1 "Tornado", at 16 coaches. We used my 1959 vintage Hornby Doublo "City of London" (with a suitably modified coupling at one end of the first coach) to haul an astonishing 31 coaches! This was an extraordinary achievement, especially when the controller was at only 50% power, and the layout has a considerable gradient and 2nd radius curves at both ends!
Running like clockwork Stuart! Definitely a LNER theme going on, very nice too! Climate Hero is still one of my favourites though! A great session again from you and enjoyed, cheers Nick.
Superb running session Stuart! Great bit of steamer action today! Another gooden from you! Lovely autoballasters there, looking good! Very nice indeed! Really enjoyed, thanks for sharing! Take care, have an awesome day and all the best! Jamie
Lovely quiet clickety clack mate. NE feel - teaks are nice quality - I sold my Deltic this week and replaced it with a Falcon - A1/2s are beautiful will have to get one some time - Blue A4 - my favourite - and a Shed - nice - I wonder where the lavvy is in that Stately Pile lol
Beautiful again, but have to laugh at "Lord Al's Place," too. Such relaxing and wonderful running again!
@@ModelTrainOutsider Cheers Anthony, just a bit of fun.
