I'm tired of seeing the same stinky diesels running every time, please put them to bed. Let's see all manner of different steam engines running. No diesels allowed.
Hi Stuart. Love your running sessions. Great locos and rolling stock to watch. As well as the brilliant layout. Thumbs up thumped 👍 .... Pete....
@delphjunction1168 Thank you Pete, 👍🏻
Long rakes are wonderful to watch. Earlier today, my neighbour and I broke our "steam haulage record," which was held by Hornby's A1 "Tornado", at 16 coaches. We used my 1959 vintage Hornby Doublo "City of London" (with a suitably modified coupling at one end of the first coach) to haul an astonishing 31 coaches! This was an extraordinary achievement, especially when the controller was at only 50% power, and the layout has a considerable gradient and 2nd radius curves at both ends!
@stephendavies6949 Great fun I'm sure, Can't beat the oldies.
Another treat for us to enjoy and hot on the heels of the last one ...cheers James 🙂👍
@@DYLINGTONMODELRAILWAY 👍🏻👍🏻

Nice session Stuart. I'm still collecting the Network Rail. I am embarking on two resprays and renumbering at the moment.

Can we have an LMS theme, with Bobby the Black 5 as the star of the show, pretty please?
Absolutely superb! Also nice to see 1961-bulit (Derby) CK no.SC16191 on Commonweath bogies.

Beautiful again, but have to laugh at "Lord Al's Place," too. Such relaxing and wonderful running again!
@@ModelTrainOutsider Cheers Anthony, just a bit of fun.
A beautiful mix of locos, Stuart. (ANd I still look at the coaches and wagons... lol... really like those yellow hoppers). I even enjoyed some diesels in your running! Epic stuff.

@@StMaryChurchModelRailway Anytime Stuart, very nice! And you!
Hi great running session, I have a set of Dapol MRA wagons on my wish list, unfortunately they were well and truly sold out way before I got back into this great hobby, Dapol will never do another run because of the problems they had with them all those years ago, a set of them commands seriously high prices that are double what they sold for back in the day, I’m sure I will get a set eventually along with the Hatton’s RHTT set which by the way Accurascale have the moulds for but they’re not bothered about re-releasing them anytime soon, the FEA wagons could do with another run as they would sell well in my opinion, thanks for sharing.
@StormmyStormmy The MRAs were given to me as they kept derailing on my friends layout. Sharper curves, I have put magnetic couplings on them. They run lovely. Hard to get hold of. The RHTT is lovely. I should run it more.
I managed ot bag a set with loads. Not cheap but they are really nice
Very nice Stuart - particuarly the LNER blue with Crimson Lake & Cream stock.... 😉

I was in two minds about the Tangoed 37s, so much so that I missed out on buying one first time round. But then I thought, "well, it's a prototypical livery, and it started it's life in South Wales" (from where originate), so I asked Accurascale to notify me if they ever got one back in stock. They did & I bought it, and it looks and runs superbly! Your layout looks fabulous. Very envious of your National Power loco (59?).
@stephendavies6949 Excellent, they look and drive lovely, Yes the 59 is lovely , named the vale of glamorgan. And went to Aberthaw, just down the road. Cheers Stephan.
@StMaryChurchModelRailway Well we'll. I was born & bred in South Wales. My dad was a coal miner all his working life (Merthyr Vale colliery) and it was a bitter sweet moment as I watched a video of the last coal train from Cwmbargoed snake it's way down the Bedlinog valley, passed the location of Taff Merthyr colliery.
