- Well, I happen to have it easier here than with the Bass Cruiser, but I had more fun racing in the Bass Cruiser than the Ultranova. Basically, as soon as you finish the Ultimate Charge phase, the Monsterous is screwed or if you screw up the Ultimate Charge phase, you're screwed (i.e. be careful when and where you drift at and, as always, look at your speed gauge. by doing that, you'll be fine).

Good touch with CVS2 music on round 3.
The Âge Ultranova is such a beast, for as long as you're good at finding strategies for ultimate charging.
You just completely ate that Monstrous alive on the track.
Honestly, if the normal charge wasn't terrible, I'd use this more often. For now, I'll stick with Crinale.
The Ultranova is pretty much the best special class car in this game.
You seemed to be having a hard time with charging on the second and third races. Are the early nitrous hits intentional or are they simply a product of jumping on the button a little too fast?

But anyway nice job.I could`nt even beat it with the Soldlat 13th Racing Crinale.

Nowhere. Ridge Racer 6 is exclusively for the X360.
HOWEVER.
Ridge Racer 7 IS on the PS3. It's not exactly the same as this one (there are a few more cars, a new soundtrack, and the addition of performance and body modifications) but I think it's the easier one to really get into, due to the mods.
My favorite car in this game.

Anyone know if XSX will upscale and run this at 120fps. Have always been a Playstation user, but that would tempt me!

Ridge Racer 6 was better than Ridge Racer 7.
They really rushed RR7 in time for PS3 launch and it shows in graphics,worse soundtrack and car sounds mostly the same but it have customization which really devalued the special machines since you can jack up your
Category 1 machines with mods and it will be as fast if not faster than special machines.
