- i5 and v10 engines with special firing orders which plays a harmonic fifth chord all the way up the rev range. they don't sound quite like the lfa's angels of death but they're up there.
inspired by a design from william moser's excellent hypothetical engine demonstration series ( • "Perfect fifth" hypoth... )
adapted from engines originally created by Jckf (audi i5) and IZAK.M (lambo v10) from angethegreat's discord server
if i double my sub count, yt will give me money to make these. unbelievable lmao. i could quit my job and just focus on school full-time which blows my mind. you're all based and enginepilled.
also don't forget to drink water, but not so much that your pee turns clear cos you're probably just diluting the electrolytes in your body which reduces your stamina. i like to eat three tablespoons of salt the moment i get out of bed in order to mitigate this issue. may allah keep you safe
i want you to become based, enginepilled and incomefromenginepilled so i shall subscribe
...three tablespoons of salt?
Yo this comment just made me subscribe
dropped a sub for the grind
Just subbed for you my guy chase ur dreams
Imagine a world where you're driving power chords.
The I5 Sounds exactly like a slide (metal tube) on the strings being brought closer and closer to you on a guitar tuned to drop D
The Chad version of our universe
power chords? horsepower? get it?
This is why I drive a 2.5liter turbo 5 cylinder. They’re beAutiful sounding
3 cyl engines
Making musically perfect engines is such a Yamaha thing I could totally see them doing this
if I remember correctly, Yamaha once tuned, in the musical sense, the intake of a certain car, but I’m not sure which one lol
@@recklessrickey9513 Lexus LFA
@@emerycottle3166 If I remember correctly they designed the whole motor, right?
@@ross2k220 yeah either that or they codeveloped it with Lexus/Toyota
@@recklessrickey9513 LFA
The V10 almost soundss like a large displacement V8 until about 4.5K RPM
Man these are great I just subbed. You got to try an double X8. Basically picture 4 v-twins sharing a crank but with a narrow angle so they can share a single cylinder head like a VR engine.
A flat VR-8?
Like 2 subaru boxers stacked lol
@@rawhidelamp Nah in an x configuration like a radial engine
That's just half of a Bugatti engine, and do they share the same cylinder head? I feel like they can't
can I download it on Mac?
Woah the 5 cylinder sounds like a volvo instead of audi with that firing order, that's freaking cool it sounds like my car irl
Right?? I was like wait, I know that sound!
Hey I have a volvo too and if yours sounds like that, I have bad news for you 😅😂
volvo has audi engines....
@@Yuri_Bodlovic volvo modular engines are not Audi, they're both similar displacement but volvos line of engines are completely separate, and produced in Skövde Sweden. Volvo modular engines are a series of inline 4, 5, and 6 cylinders. All of which have absolutely nothing to do with audi.
@@Yuri_Bodlovic ford
Goes to show, 5 and 10 cylinder engines with any firing order sound downright evil
Going from cursed engines, to blessed. Beautiful..
Sounds sorta like a 4 cylinder but with a bit of that 5 cylinder note on it
"The 5 Cylinder Sounds Kinda Like A 4 Cylinder But With 5 Cylinders".
@@AssistantCoreAQI Hmm Yes the Floor Here Is Made Out of Floor
"It sounds like this but it doesn't sound like this"
Sheesh! Engine Sound Just Like Melody Sound XD
As a car enthusiast and music nerd, videos like these really tickle my fancy.
Those sound like no i5 or V10 that i know off. Still sounds good!
V10 kings similar to the s85b50, lower fundamentals than irl and ah bit less guttural
S85 revs rly quick too
That's sounds like a Volvo T5 and I love it
NEVER stop making these thumbnails this is peak art
It's like that one crying girl that sounded like a racecar
As a car guy and a composer, this is literally heavenly
Dude, I would love to see you build a V14. I'm sure the thumbnail for that video would be sort of based.
IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 2.5 LITERS(5cyl)
THAT IS NOT PERFECT
S85B50 one of the best sounding engines of all time
also the one from the Carrera GT
The M80.01?
Anyone wanna talk about the fuckin GIRTH on the v10 cams bro? Things are HUGE
That V10 startup though! 👌
why can i hear a little aventador v12 in the v10
Mora so with the i5
Suggest slowing down the gear changes, give the engine time to rev down
Yo, could we please get an engine file for these? They sound bloody incredible!
pretty sure they're on the part gallery but idk
Man those sound good. That thumbnail wasnt lying
Can you do what a 7 cylinders would sound like?
dosent exist
@@Yuri_Bodlovic doesn't matter that a 7 cylinder engine doesn't exist in real life, people have already made extremely absurd engines in the simulator that couldn't exist in real life either, like the inline 11 or V22 engine.
The I7 has been done in so many channels and in different applications as well
@@Yuri_Bodlovic 7-cyls exist as modular engines in marine applications, as well as the AGCO Sisu-A straight-seven diesel engine intended for farming/agricultural machinery.
@@neo_falcon well i was seaing a 8 straight engine but 7 cylinders never
these engines are both amazing sounding I love it
sounds like a porsche f6
Nice work. I own a Volvo 850 T5 and a Audi 100 S4 both manual 5 cylinder Turbos. Not sure if the turbo makes a difference but your video doesn't sound like either of them.
turbo changes it a bit but the sound isn’t really accurate. especially high up
This V10 sound amazing, especially while cutting off
S85B50
That's why my OM605 sounds better than any 604 or 606
the v10 sounds like a porsche f6
How about a tritone three cylinder for the memes?
This is such a beautiful sound.
But then exhaust flow...
I5 sounds like a clapped out Honda civic
The v10 kind of sounds like it belongs in a truck, maybe a Dodge.
I know 2 trucks with V10's one is the Ford Super Duty Triton engine, and the Dodge Ram SRT10 Viper engine
The 5 cylinders have a similar sound of the fiat marea (he have a 5 cylinders)
v10/i5 don't produce a perfect 5th, it's a major 3rd. Your motor sounds like a v12, which actually makes perfect 4ths, not 5ths
The V10 sounds like a B6
v10 Sounds literally amazing
S85B50
Sounds like a fiat Marea i5
jesus… i want a car with that v10
Gran Turismo 4 exhaust sounds
Now do a THX Deep Note engine please.
You should make music with this
What is theis softwir Name??
thanks AngeTheGreat
we need this in teslas
the cool wngine
Sounds like something that The Dark Knight sound designers would have used to make the shepherds tone for the Batcycle
LFA engine
Baby LFA
Man those perfect 5th engines have such a weird torque curve... They're very flat on the top...
well done sound good but like flat 6
I should do like a flat 12 or something
Imagine the w18 Bugatti showed in thiere concept that was going to be used over the veyron
It sounds so... wierd...
Sounds more beefy but less dramatic. Could you try the 1-3-5-4-2 firing order and compare it to the 1-2-4-5-3 firing order?
The firing order determines the interval? I always thought it was the cylinder count and largely been successful to distinguish cylinder count from the intervals, but yesterday i was with a friend of mine whose inline four produced a perfect fifth, can anyone explain or refer me to something on this topic?
I have the crankpins spaced at different intervals than a normal inline 5 or v10. the v10 has a wider bank angle than normal as well. it's kind of esoteric but this isn't really doable with a normal engine afaik
Why not trying V8 crossplane vs flat plane crankshaft ? 😁
By the way, the Audi 5’s (in general) can be pushed to 8500 rpm with no worries
what a coincidence that you chose an Audi i5 and a Lamborghini v10 since Lamborghini is owned by Audi as of 2012.
Strangely, as I remember, the engine that sounds like perfect fifth is inline-3 or V6. While Inline-5 & V10 are more likely major third, but the second note is octave higher.
I like that the v10 actually has a nice shift sound
My canyon has an i5 and it almost sounds the same
The V10 doing loaded pulls through the gears sounds like the beginning of 'hustle bones'.
Perfect thumbnail as usual.
I would love to see the LFA V10
Do a Hypothetical Claudiano Taxista Corolla 2ZZGFE V8 engine Inspired by Claudiano Taxista Bulit an V8 of the Car. Posting Video e envied video
my dad's truck is a v5 I think
v10 sounds like tank engine on idle
