The chinese knockoff on your left is a virtual carbon copy of my original gearwrench ratchet. Which I left on the tracks of a stroker over the course of a wekend long storm. After which, it was completely seized up. this video was a big help in letting me clean and repair it. Thanks a bunch.
Dammit buddy I really appreciate your time in doing this video. I have the same well similar max access craftsmen set and mine also fell apart I really like this set tried in my Florida area in all the sears that haven’t closed in trying to get it repaired but to avail for several months to find out craftsman has sold there tool division dammit so they no longer replace there lift time on these discontinued set why???? I was sold mad no one else could help me I finally found this sear store that one man doing tool repair but they rarely answer the phone when they would that man was never available so I could take my ratchet up there 1.5 hours away. And today I tried again several times the last time I got a answer from them asked for that repair guy…..but I was told he no longer works at sears dammit and there’s no other person that can repair them they gave that waste of time craftsmen number no no noooooo help dammit I thought oh well maybe I can find one on eBay or Amazon like you said very expensive running out of options I turned to RUclips hence your video dammit kudos buddy this is my Hail Mary to my ratchet problem thanks buddy
The reverse lever on the crescent pass thru ratchet is flush like the craftsman. The husky, duralast (watch out, duralast makes 2 different models!!) , makita, draper expert, sata, and kd tools pass thru ratchets uses the same reverse lever as gearwrench. Omega pro, wurth zebra( again 2 different styles) , and halford vortex makes a similar pass thru but I’m not sure if it’s compatible.
The spring and pin are stuck in the selector switch on mine and I am at a loss on how to get it out. I assume the pin somehow was pushed in and bent at the same time. It looks exactly like the ball bearing that holds a socket in place on a ratchet extension. Any ideas anyone?
All I need is the spring, other than buying the other ratchet, does anyone know where I might find just that or just that and the pin? I'd rather not spend $24 just for a spring if I don't have to.
This is the content I come to RUclips for. Well done

How DID you remove that snap clip? You missed the magic steps to do that. It has me baffled!
Is the craftsman actually valuable now? Or just discontinued
Discontinued.
