I am 52. Was grossly obese. Diabetic, high blood pressure...the works. I'm on my 5th month of Ozempic, at the 1mg dosage currently. I have lost close to 80 lbs. Hope this continues to be the case. I did experience some nausea, constipation for about the first 12 weeks, but that has subsided.

I’ve been on Ozempic for 16 weeks. I’m on 1mg, because the company is backlogged and I am unable to get the 2mg yet. I’ve lost 28lbs in 16weeks, so I think I’m doing pretty good. I only eat one meal a day and barely can stomach that because I have zero appetite.

I’m pre-diabetic. They seemed to have fixed the shortage issue and I’m finally on the 2mg dose. I also utilize the medication by mail program that CVS has and the cost went down dramatically. I’m only paying $40 for a 3 month supply. I’ve lost around 70lbs so far. I’m averaging about 2-3lbs per week.

so you are not diabetic ,you are taking the medicine because you are lazy and selfish, taking the medicine for weight loss isnt right ,doctors are being investagated by the insurance companys, why they are giving these scripts without a history of diabetes, and insurance is not paying anymore without a paper trail history of blood test,a1c,counts

Nice to hear your results...my weight loss took off like crazy on .25 Ozempic. I weighed at my doctor's office 12 days ago. Came in at 253. Diabetic, high sugar, high bp...etc. Today, 12 days later I am 17 pounds down, according to my digital scale. My sugar is way down, my bp is close to normal...and I hope to keep losing. No side effects at .25, either. Just took my 2nd dose Wednesday. Stuff is a miracle worker...at least for now.

I’m 36 years old and 4’10”. My start weight was 238.8 10 weeks ago. I am now at 208.0. So almost 31 lbs down. I also suffer from an autoimmune disorder and have struggled with weight for a long time now. I was so overweight I was told I could not gain weight while pregnant. So, I stayed 218-220 my entire pregnancy (I’m very proud of that- it was VERY hard to maintain my weight. I had horrible morning sickness and always felt like I was starving since I couldn’t keep anything in my stomach. I’m glad you made this video, I was looking for some idea of where other people are at this point in their journey and everybody’s has been so different. I think you’re doing great! Thanks for your help. I’m 43, I’m active and enjoy running and weights. I was doing the same, eating healthy and exercise wasn’t working anymore and I was putting on weight that exercise and diet didn’t counteract. I wish I understood that. I think a lot of doctors believe that it’s simply calories in and calories out and I felt so bad because I felt like a failure. I just finished my second week. I haven’t weighed yet this week but I was down 2.5 after the first week. Your videos are immensely helpful. Thanks for being my ozempic buddy :-) you’re doing a great job with being realistic and healthy through this process in a “whole person” sort of way.

Man, my life is very much like yours (minus the military part lol). I packed on a good 30 or more pounds during Covid. Overall just got lazy and bad with food management. I too am 45. I finally made myself step on the scale when my clothes didn’t fit. Wowzer! Same as you, I hadn’t seen that number since my last pregnancy nearly 11 years ago. I am actually starting on Ozempic tonight with my first injection. I was put on Metformin for the first 2 weeks. I’m glad to see you have success with Ozempic. I have tried everything under the sun and I had finally accepted that my body loves to hold on to fat. I have lost about 7 pounds since starting Metformin so I’m anxious to see how Ozempic helps too. So happy to hear your fatigue is getting better. I’m a healthcare professional and it is making it very difficult to get through my day. The endo just gave me an RX for b12, hoping it helps. I just took my last 1.0 dose and have the 1.7 for next week, losing at about the same speed as you have (1.35 lbs per week) - given that I have a thyroid that bounces from Hashimoto’s to graves and also lifelong PFOS (and age 60 now) now that is great. A bit too much nausea but I can live with that since I’m never hungry.

I’m so glad you said that about how people get worried because they don’t lose weight and you said it’s because you’re on the 3rd week on .25. I just took my 3rd shot and I’m on .25. I haven’t weighed since I started or before I started but have an idea of what I probably weighed. I feel like maybe I have lost 5 lbs. but I’m not sure. I can tell when I shower and my clothes are fitting better. I am only 5’3” so a little weight feels and looks like a lot. When I gain weight even if it is only 5 lbs looks like a lot more just because I’m not very tall. I can’t wait to bump up the dose because I do find myself kinda hungry at times. I can go all day without eating and don’t even think about food but by dinner time I’m kind of hungry. I also find that I feel like I could take it or leave it a lot on this.

@@trustaralwayz just took my 2nd shot at 1mg. I lost zero for 8 weeks, 4 weeks in .25 and 4 on .5. Even though I definitely ate less. Since I went up to 1mg, I’m losing FINALLY. I lost 4 lbs the first week on 1 mg. I had to go up slowly because the side effects are hitting me hard. I did research on the Ozempic site and it states that if you lose 5% on the therapeutic dose (1mg) after 12 weeks it is working. If you don’t, you should try something else.

I had my follow-up visit with my Medical Weight Loss provider. I lost 6 pounds in 3.5 weeks. I wish it was more, but she was super happy about it and said I'm "right on track". She's keeping me at the .25 for now, since I'm doing so well and still having some of the side effects. My weight loss is so weird... I haven't had any stalls, yet... I gain weight and then lose... And then gain, and then lose. It's just a few pounds here and there - and the overall trend is downward - but it's so irritating!

Ana, you are looking fantastic. I see such a difference in not only your appearance but also your videos are really happening. BTW - you looked great from video one, but I totally get why you wanted to get hold of your health.
Same for me…. I don’t even admit to my best friend (aka husband) what I weigh and he never asks so that’s a plus. I was slightly out of control pre-shut downs, but lost my sense of control during the last 2 years. I get it.
I follow you here and consider your journey and loss thus far encouraging. I’m on week 3 and doing pretty good (10 lbs down, 40 to go 🤞🏼)
For all on Ozempic (or Wegovy), not all of us will change our ways, lose excess weight, and suddenly walk out of a time machine and look like ourselves when we were in our 20’s. I know I’ll never be 20 again, but hope to look better at the age I am (over 40 also). This isn’t a shot of the fountain of youth - it’s a tool to help. It won’t help all, but it helps many. Have reasonable expectations and try hard not to compare yourself too much to others. See others who did or are doing well as inspirations, but not to set yourself up for failures because you don’t compare. None of this is one size fits all. Be kind to yourselves and take baby steps rather than HUGE leaps because when it comes down to it, it really takes a life change to make it stick. Facts!

Hi, I’m 43. I have hypothyroidism and my weight has been a struggle for the past few years. I have revered my numbers which puts me in a healthy category. I do exercise 3x a week and track my macros with my fitness pal. Unfortunately, the numbers on the scale doesn’t validate my hard work exercising. I would like to loose about 40lbs. I have my doctors appointment next Tuesday for my endocrinologist and ask about wegovy injections. I did call a weight loss facility and they have semaglutide injections available stating at very low dose. I’m not sure if that’s the same medication. I hope my insurance will cover the medication. I currently live in Florida and I’m hearing there’s a shortage of wegovy supply. You look great. Thank you for the informative information.

I will be hitting 60 in May this year - Menopause and miserable with my body - I'm hoping my insurance will authorize me getting Ozempic! Fingers crossed
