I posted on one of your recent videos about scoring a 19 on the ACT. I felt like a complete failure, and I was depressed. I kept thinking to myself “...maybe I just won’t be a doctor..maybe I’ll just do construction. That doesn’t sound bad,” and I gave up for a couple of weeks. Then I realized that I felt empty, that learning was what filled me. The motivation I gave people, from them watching me study and getting the grades I do, made me realize that I didn’t want to give up. I wanted to be a doctor, because I want to save people. I want to show people that a “hood” kid can become something more. So I started studying. I retook the ACT got a 26. Most tutors say they can only increase your score by 1 or 2 points. I increased it by 7. I’m not done yet. I want a 30. I’m going to get my dream, and I just finished studying math for 2 hours. But after watching this, it made me realize that my why is to big to stop. I should finish the whole damn book. I’m not giving up on myself. I will become the gosh dang best doctor out there.

But tbh you know that watching these videos becomes addicting, i still do more work compared to when i didn't watch these motivational videos. But listening to these speeches; I realise that I need to stop watching these videos and actually get stuff done. Thanks ! My dream is to become an aeronautical engineer/footballer/teacher and I have an exam tomorrow (History IGSCE) and 20 more in these upcoming 2 months. Wish me luck! :)

OK. This is the first motivational video that has hit me right in the feels. My passion as a child was art and creative writing. I have had people tell me that I am not smart, that I am stupid because of my past, that I will never achieve but guess what, I AM going to prove them all WRONG. My biggest motivators are my doubters, it can get hard but I know that I NEED to prove them wrong and make them wish that they had believed in me, but it really hurt when that one person who I looked up to, my dad, said that I couldn't achieve my dream, that honesty broke me for a few days but I decided that I'm better than that and I shouldn't let him win and I shouldn't prove him right, I KNOW I can do this and SO CAN U! It's physically impossible to just study study study. Your brain needs some sort of break and it's important to take some time off to just re-energize. Like if you agree.
