Homemade Rebar Slingshot

In this video I show you How to Make a Slingshot from Scrap! I first cut a section from a piece of rebar, I then cut a slot down the center with an angle grinder, I then used a chisel to widen it. I then f used the vice to flatten each side down, then I marked the next bend using a speed square, then bent using the vice and the hammer, this step was repeated for the top of the forks, then I cleaned it up with a wire wheel, the next step is to create the leather pouch for the ball to seat in, this pouch is 2cm by 7 cm. The bands are then cut from some thin workout elastic, they are 25cm long and have a taper from 2cm to 1.5 cm in width, 4 of these dimensions were cut, then using two spring clamps the rubber is tied to the pouch, this is similar to how the bands are attached to the forks!
