I don't even collect these figures but I love watching yours. Found your channel by looking for display cabinet reviews and started watching other videos of yours and I subscribed. This one is the best yet love the stopping to take a sip of beer lmao😆. I collect Killer Klowns From Outer Space memorabilia and construction models. Looking forward to your next out all night unboxing and review video.
Thanks for this video. Just got mine and had the same problem with the base. It's relieving to see that it seems to be an issue with all the bases and not just a me issue. The way you fixed it was interesting. Never would have thought of it myself. Think I'll try another method first. I have a 3d printer so I might so if I can do some sort of custom base for her.
As for figures, my pet peeve is when the figure got a slight difference on the face. (just like in resin statues, they will have different face vs the anime original art good example are the resin statue of Ereshkigal from FGO) Many times I pre-order stuff based off the pictures of course from the original first molded figure. And I am like wow she looks epic. Ofcourse they will since they are the original molded production. Then I see videos or images of it and on close up from other people who bought it (not the original displayed from stores), its always the "face" that makes me change my mind. Some figures got the Face bang on. It looks exactly like the original art etc. But some face are a bit "off" and even a slight difference makes me say no to a figure. Good examples of Figures I own where they really captured the "essence" of the face of the character are FGO's Jalter made by Licorne and ALTER and Melt Lancer made by ALTER. I have them and the figures looks out of this world. Face and expressions looks just like in game and the art. In the other hand one's that looks a bit off is like Ereshkigal and Berserker Jalter made by GSC. Everything else looks on point. But a close up to the face and it just does not look right for me.
I was pretty exited for this figure, but I ended up canceling my preorder after I learned about FREEing's QC issues. Sad this one is so much worse than the others. If you are charging $300+ for a figure ($400 for Saber) they need way better QC. Sticking with my homies at Alter and Max Factory, never had a bad figure from either so far.
Yeah, it's a beautiful figure I'm not the only one with the leg issue if you read some of the comments. She is totally fixable just keep an eye out and when she falls in price which she will pick her up at that time.
Have you considered custom base makers? There are loads of Facebook groups that sculpt and 3D print bases. Would def give more life to the figure on a diorama level and better support. Such a miss on the Anubis, she's absolutely gorgeous ❤
Love your energy! Yeah the first time I got a freeing bunny, I didn't know that you had to stretch the legs extremely far apart to fit the pegs. I was confused and annoyed, not to mention it had a lot of issues like black marks and unfinished paint parts. Yours is even worse 😭Their QC is always so questionable and for the price its completely unacceptable. She's gorgeous tho, the gold against her skin tone is so good
Yes, she is overall a very beautiful bunny but with only one really bad downfall. I have lots of Freeing bunnies and have never had any real issues this will be the first time.
Hahaha, Yeah this is not the first time I've done a video after being out all night or after having a few beers ahead of time. PS that's why sometimes my videos can be a little off the rails.
Wasn't there a transparent plastic extension for one of her foot/shoe? Some Freeing figure have it. Not shure if this is the case but I would check in blister for it. Cheers dude.
No wedge was included. In trying to correct the factory bad leg bend I went a bit too far which caused that issue. The next day I made that correction now the leg looks way better and matches the promo photos on Amiami. I still think the leg does not look 100% right and the foot is 3/4 - 1 inch away from the one peg. So now base modifications are needed. My little Anubis dog came in today and looks really good sitting on the base just in front of her. Thanks for watching.
I got the same issue with the bunny I didn’t use a hairdryer but I straight out the leg and I managed to fit it in, I was scared to break her leg. But I did it without breaking it
Yes, my camera in Auto mode I've noticed is fading in and out of light level and color. I think I did point it out with a text flash at some point in the video. Yeah, sorry for the bad spots in the video I guess I'll need to start setting camera in the manual mode to hopefully resolve this issue.
Actually, I straighten it out if you look closely in the video her leg was really bent bad. I thought I might have messed it up until I previewed my video and saw another video which her figure was not as bad as mine, but her figure is still not correct either. I would say it's now better and about 80% the way it should have been from Freeing. Once I get a new peg in the base I might try a little bit more heat to adjust it better. Thanks for watching.
I recently got this figure yesterday and I absolutely love it, it’s definitely one of my favorites that I have
Overall, the Anubis bunny is still a really good design maybe one of the best just the leg is a little off.

Yeah, I can be a humorous mess sometimes I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

It kills me when you drop good money on something like that and it comes to you wonky. Glad you puzzled out a good fix for it though.
Yeah, thanks. I'll get worked out it won't be perfect, but it will be close. Thanks for watching

Lmao 🤣 at top heavy and the howling lord have mercy, uncle Jessie from Full house reference. Nice review I enjoyed it 👍
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed the video my auto adjustments on the camera were going all over the place I guess I need to film in manual mode.

I'll have to give that some thought thanks for the tip.

I really enjoyed your 2am drunk review. I think you might have a new video series on your hands as a companion to your normal unboxing/reviews. 🍻

Excellent figure, I wanted to buy it but I spent my savings and bought the Komikawa Aoi illustrated by Mataro.
Dude your videos are great, love the positive vibes.
Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed the video

Hahaha a biker gang member collecting anime figures I've seen it all now 😂🤣😆
🤣😂 I don't know about biker gang member, but I've been on 2 for many many years. Thanks for watching.

That's good there has been a few people in the comments talking about her messed up leg and having troubles putting her on the base.
@@hathatfigures3663 it’s seem to be happening with a lot of freeing bunnies I got power from chainsaw man the same issue with the legs again
Idk if its the lighting but in the section where you showed off the anubis up close she looks really red lol

It's Beautiful
Yes, a very nice portrait and great body sculpt other than the lower right leg.
Wow~She is really beautiful
Yes, other than the right leg mistake by Freeing she is a home run.
@hathatfigures3663 Maybe use some double sided tape😃
That is an option Thanks for watching@@Bevis888
She's huge. Lovely figure 👍
Thanks, I still wish Freeing had paid more attention to her right leg I feel they dropped the ball.
@@hathatfigures3663 Sadly, especially considering the cost, it's a bit hit or miss sometimes with Freeing. I hope you'll still enjoy her though!
Oof, might have been better to make a custom base than to warp the figure, but then again, the leg was oddly warped to begin with.
