- The 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 is brand new from the ground up. It's longer, wider, more luxurious, more capable, and now has Mercedes newest cloud based system called MBUX. Following the growing trend, it's a 4 door thats called a coupe because of the shape.

You really do feel why German vehicle come in to their own at high speed. They feel hunkered down like on rails. People say they're expensive but it's for a reason. To be able to engineer it to feel like you're just tootling about at 200 km/h isn't child's play.
CLA is a really awesome car without doubt
Great video as always guys. I am super glad to see Benz offering a non animal, sustainable quality interior. The Black surfaces with the red stitching looks great. Surprised to see the ride being improved so much since as I remember the previous model had a somewhat harsh ride. Keep up the good work.
The best thing about this video was you filmed with 2 adults upfront - that’s gives a different perspective to the 1 person shoots - I liked that you could see the actual space you’d get if it was purchased as a car for a couple wanting a 2nd fun weekend plus vehicle

The sweet and sour concept gave me a little cringe. Love the review though. The backend of the car is very shape looking. To me, it is way better looking than the A class:)

The 1st Gen had cheap, noisy interior, and a ride that's not very Mercedes at all. The new seems a lot better.
No exaggeration, it’s night and day compared to the old CLA. Essentially it’s a whole different car with the same name.
Can I just ask, why cheap? I felt the door panels on the old A Class and it has more soft touch plastic than the new one. Which is why I am now confused as to how people say the old one had cheap bits?
Unless you have the Limited Edition ICE Edition.

How is the ride with the 19" wheels? I'm considering one as a treat to myself for turning 70 (!) but I am concerned about a harsh ride. Haven't test-driven one yet.

All i have to say is alfa gulia ti sport awd 2liter turbo 280hp 310 torq 49k dollars and will outperform in any way except tech wise thats it maybe interior finsh too

CLA has always been a coupe
the cls is not a coupe version of the E Class.... the E Class coupe is a coupe version of the E Class...
Of course it isn’t a real Coupe. What MB us saying is that this is to the A Class to what the CLS is to the E Class. The kinda 4 dr Coupe. They are the ones calling it a Coupe, not us.
Coupé..what is so hard about saying it properly? Stay true to the origins of the word.

Think the question should be is this a real AMG? In which case, no. It's definitely a real Mercedes though, and should sell very well.
No it is not a real AMG. Didn’t have enough room in the title. This has the AMG appearance package which in Canada comes standard.
This is only the AMG styling package, which you can also get on the lowest model (CLA 180). The first CLA with AMG in it's name will be the CLA35 AMG with the same engine as the A35 AMG (not sure if that car will be release everywhere) .
However the first 'real' AMG will most likely be the CLA 45 AMG, which is built after the 'one man one engine' rule. (at least the old A45 was still built that way)

this video is just wrong on so many levels... The CLS is not the "coup" version of the E, the E has its own coupe ok. And this title wtf, how is this not a REAL mercedes?
The CLS IS the 4dr Coupe version of the E class. Remember. Everyone’s making these 4 doors now and calling them coupes. Yes the E Class Coupe of course is the coupe of the E class but the CLA is to the A Class as what the CLS is to the E Class. Clear as mud right? They even call the CLA a Coupe to make it more complicated. The previous CLA was not on. The same level as other Mercedes. This one truly is.

It’s not be that’s calling it a Coupe, the manufacturer calls it that themselves.
@@EverydayReviews2022 and just because some marketing boon thinks he has a great idea, we have to accept it? A Coupé is by definition a 2 door sporty car. This was it already way before cars even existed.
@@BW-og1vu Number of doors has little to do with it. A Coupé is usually a 2+2 with a sloping roof, just happens that traditionally most had two doors as that was seen as sportier. For the record, there's a completely separate A Class Sedan too..
@@TheSpudlyMcgudly per definition is a coupé a 2 door sports car. This is even older than cars. It comes from the times of coaches, Coupé is french and means chopped. So it was used for shortened coaches and was then taken for cars. You can read about it in several sources. Unfortunately today many marketing departments use this therm because it is fancy.
@@BW-og1vu Yes Bernard, I can read Google too my friend, and I know it is French for chopped. It refers to horse drawn carts, which generally don't have doors, and them being shortened to two seats. That's SEATS not doors mate, so, your point is?

The interior just to poorly Engineered The entire dash looks like it was an after though and not an integrated part of the car.
A big issue with entry level line is they just don’t give the true experience of a Mercedes, BMW
Entry level cars have the same issue.
